Our Dream World: Epiphany
A glimpse into the near future through a suspenseful story with a touch of romance. I think readers will be able to relate to a particular character in a world where technology has transformed society. Whether that change is for better or worse is a matter of opinion.

John also dreams about how to change the world for the better because he feels something is wrong. “Dream or failure?” His search for answers will take him on a journey of adventure and discovery. But their deep connection hides a secret.
In the late XXI century, John leads a small team working on wireless communication standards and other duties, they work from Mega-cities around the world, even more than 2 shifts, just like everyone else does, because this is a world for entertainment.

2 books5 followersI am an engineer on electronics, but I have worked with computer software all my life, this was a twist for economic reasons.
I always liked the science fiction, I focused in the growth of my sons, now they are almost adults and I realize something is going wrong in our world so I feel the duty to try to change the reality, since I can't make a magnificent invention, maybe I can express some ideas through a literary fiction.
This first book Our Dream World has been written to show a possible future based on what I believe could be.
My experience of working with technology has taught me just how quickly paradigms can evolve. Technological development is happening at such a rapid pace that it affects us all. However, if changes happen too quickly, mistakes can be made.
I have seen how digital entertainment is changing everything. I'm not sure if this is a positive development. Therefore, it is important to understand where we are heading.
Bearing this in mind, I came up with the idea for Our Dream World.
Ultimately, I decided not to express my concerns directly, but rather to present them as one of many background ideas.
In order to share useful insights, I incorporated digressions, a psychological approach, and technological details.
I hope that others can see things the way I do. Even better, I hope they have an epiphany!

I went into this hoping for a great read, but it ended up being a bit of a struggle to get through. It has some interesting concepts here and there, but the writing style felt dry overall. It just moved a bit too slowly to keep me fully invested in the story.
