Too much meat

I was genuinely surprised by how much meat was featured when current studies show that a whole food plant based diet is the healthiest. I suppose this isn't just about health, but losing weight, as well, so maybe they wanted it less 'extreme' and more attainable to the average Joe. Which they are more simple and family friendly than Dr Michael Greger and his cookbooks (the how not to die and how not to diet), so I think I will be able to get my teen to try the vegetarian recipes in here, whereas Greger's are a lot more complex with lots of things like turmeric and nigella seeds.
