The line between salvation and damnation has never been so thin.

After six months of desperate searching, Sean Cullen has finally found Cade Cross—but the reunion brings more questions than answers. Something has changed, leaving Sean to wonder if what stands before him is truly what he's been fighting for.

As ancient evil prepares to break free from its centuries-old prison, supernatural forces converge from all directions. Mysterious angels walk among them, demon princes plot in the shadows, and forces beyond comprehension close in from every side. The final seal protecting our world grows dangerously close to breaking, and time is running out.

Allegiances shift like sand, ancient powers awaken, and reality itself bends under the pressure. Dark truths surface as hidden memories threaten to shatter carefully constructed walls, forcing Sean to confront the possibility that some bonds—no matter how strong—may not be enough to stop what's coming.

With the veil between worlds growing thinner and souls hanging in the balance, Sean and Cade must face the ultimate who will remain standing when the darkness finally breaks free?

In the human realm it has been six months. Six months since Cade walked into a portal with the intention of saving his friends, his lovere. Now he is back, in a crater in Central Park but something is not right, he looks human, acts almost human but can feel that something is missing. He knows what he needs to do, who he needs to find and that becomes his first mission. Despite appearing human, despite his friends believing he must have some form of demon in him, his mark having changed, nightmares and vague memories torturing him, his cat immediately knows her owner...

Sean has spent six months looking for Cade, never believing that the other man had gone beyond his reach. He went to extremes, was prepared to open another portal but now Cade is back he knows something has changed, Cade is the same but not, the reunion is stilted, filled with questions that neither of them yet have any answers for. When Sean shows Cade the work they have been doing in his absence, the tracking of the demon activity Cade immediately identifies what has been happening yet none of them can yet work out where the ley lines the demons have been following are going.

Evil, pure evil, was imprisoned centuries ago, it should never and can never be set free but it is trying and forces of evil are gathering to help it. At the same time angelic beings are making themselves known to Cade and Sean and they have some startling news for Sean. It is evident time is running out, they will need to make certain their allegiances are secure as they attempt to stop the ultimate threat.

Greyson Vale's second book in the Hellbound and Hollow series develops the characters in ways that many readers may not have seen coming. The paranormal elements of the story shine even more strongly through and some astonishing new is delivered. The characterisation is outstanding, these men, as fantastical as they might be, feel real, the threat they are facing feels real. The story is dark but incredibly compelling, it wraps itself around you as you read so be careful where you are treading. Greyson Vale is building to something very BIG, the first book gave us hints, this second is revealing, it ends on a superb cliff-hanger and there is no way to predict what might happen next. Hints may have been left but as full of surprises as this one is the next is certain to bring the human and paranormal worlds into a full force battle. I am in awe of Greyson Vale's imagination!

Cade, Sean and Sterling were hunters and Cade went through a demon gate, Sean and Sterling have been trying to get Cade back. Cade came to in Central Park with his clothes burnt remembered the name Sean and Sterling, he went to Sterling’s home. Cade had no feelings like he was missing something vital. Cade saw a newspaper and saw he had been gone for 6 months, Sterling at first didn’t believe it was Cade. Cade had a mark on his chest that pulsed and he could feel that he had been changed kept having flashbacks of what happened when he was with Asmodeus. The place he worked for declared him dead, Sean had been trying to made deals with demons to bring Cade back and all refused saying he was unavailable to bring back. They found people that had been burned from the inside out so hunting the demon learned that Asmodeus was behind it. The angel Cassiel took over Hayes's body he came to help them and tells Sean that he is a vital piece in the war against Asmodeus as he is a Nephilim. Asmodeus is breaking the seals to release an evil on the world, to get answers they have to help Hawk another hunter. Cade’s mark makes him undetectable so he can get close and defeat them, Sean saw him fight and knew that Cade was different. Cade feels hollow inside doesn’t remember the deal he had made to get back home, finds out what his parents had done before he was born. Sean was given Cade’s soul by Zeryth who had been watching over Cade he put a wall around the memories of hell so Cade wouldn’t break completely, had been there longer than he thought. Cassiel fixed Cade’s heavenly whip but things didn’t work out as planned.

New Revelations

I really loved the first book in this series, Soulmarked. I still think Vale has created a complex paranormal world, inhabited by the usual suspects of werewolves and vampires. It’s also rife with demons and witches and – new to this book – angels!

So… Eclipse Born begins six months after the end of Soulmarked. Cade has been missing and presumed dead, Sean taking incredible risks as a hunter in Cade’s absence, when Cade reappears. Cade, though, has changed. He’s “off,” in a real and obvious way. We meet new characters – the aforementioned angel, Cassiel, for one – and Hawk – a rogue hunter who knew Cade’s parents.

In Cade’s absence supernatural activity has skyrocketed, and Cade is pressed back into service. As he and Sean fight against evil forces, they learn things about both of their families, and about their co-workers’ histories. The revelations are shocking, setting up what I’m sure will be the next chapter in this epic fight of good vs. evil. I recommend the series!.

Who doesn’t love demons and angels mixed with some love!

This is the second installment of the Hellbound and Hollow series and must be read in order. What a page turner!! I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next disaster to happen, these boys sure know how to find trouble.

My heart broke for Sean in this book, for as much as he doesn’t like attachments he found one with Cade and seeing Cade not himself breaks him more than anything.

Cade coming back was a shock to everyone even himself, he’s trying to come to terms with his new reality, missing an important part of himself not knowing what it could be. And WHO helped him escape!?!

Once again the way Greyson describes each creature is amazing, I love being able to really envision what Cade, Sean and his team are up against.

The New characters in this book really just pull it together, I squealed in delight!!

This is definitely a fast pace book filled with pain, found family, more pain and a love that is trying to defy the end of the world. Can’t wait for the next book, I need these to know how it all ends!

This is a fast paced supernatural thriller taking place in modern Manhattan.
Federal Agent Cade Cross walked into a Demon Gate six months ago in an effort to save humanity. An ancient force pulled him from there and deposited him in Central Park. Sean Cullen is Cades partner and lover and he’s been desperately searching for him for six months. Now Cade is back but changed, lacking his humanity and compassion as well as the memories of what happened to him. As they renew their relationship the fight against malignant forces has only increased and they must work together and drawn in allies to fight the forces of Hell.
This series continues as Angels and Demons fight for control. It’s dark but enthralling. I’m in it from beginning to end.

Love, battles, demons, finding yourself... This book is a whole package!

This is book 2 and follows on from that AMAZING cliffhanger in book 1 👀 (no spoilers but you NEED to read it)

Our guys are faced with so much uncertainty...

🔥 Demons to battle
🔥 Literal hell to face
🔥 New alliances
🔥 Battling the darkness within

Their pasts are rising and interfering with their future. Just as they're trying to reconnect and rediscover their love for one another. Which is hard to do when you have no emotions anymore 🫣🤐

Sean and Cade and are so perfect for one another 😭 every time they have a new battle to face, I want to scream at the pages! But by the gods, the tension and suspense is amazing!!

💯 A MUST READ!

Eclipse Born picks up with high stakes and even higher tensions. Cade returns from a six-month disappearance after stepping into a Demon Gate, but he’s not the same—he’s lost his humanity, compassion, and any memory of what he endured. Sean, his lover and partner, has been searching for him, and now their reunion sparks hope and dread as sinister forces close in. Set against the eerie backdrop of modern Manhattan, this installment plunges deeper into a supernatural war where failure is unthinkable, and every choice carries devastating consequences.

This is book two and six months after Cade Cross went missing when he walked into a demon gate he has been returned. Or was he? Yes, Cade is back and Sean Cullen, his partner is glad to have him back but concerned. Something is off and Cade is not the same. He lacks some of his most prominent traits and he cannot recall what happened while he was gone. This is troubling enough. They also have to work together to deal with the increasing presence of dark forces and pull in other allies to help in the battle. Their fight is heating up and there is still more to come. I am looking forward to it.

Dark Times, Tough Choices

This sequel really kicks things up a notch. Sean finally finds Cade, but nothing is simple—things feel off, and danger is everywhere. The story’s packed with creepy demons, strange angels, and a world on the edge of falling apart. It keeps you guessing with twists, secrets, and shifting loyalties. The action is intense, and the vibe is dark but addictive. If you like stories where nothing is black and white, this one’s a wild, supernatural ride worth taking.

This is book two in the series, and you must read book one first. This was fairly intense and action-packed. Things happen with/to our guys, and I got emotional. New people are introduced, and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to find out what's going to happen!

This is Book 2 of a series and prior reading is an absolute must. There is too much happening to come in late to the demon party.

I knew that book 2 of this series was going to bring the heat but wow! Greyson Vale has a way of keeping you on your toes while allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the action.

Cade and Sean and their allies/ trusted companions will reunite but it is not without great cost. We have answers to some questions as well as a whole host of new ones. Every action in this world has consequence, some are small, some are big and some are monumental. There is life and death and something in between but the hunters quickly become the hunted throughout. There is so much more to this world, their lives, and the connections forged but one thing seems to remain the same; failure is not an option because it's cost is too great to even comprehend.

The next installment cannot come soon enough!!
