I expected a lot more from the story based on the title and the “warning”. Unfortunately, I was left wanting. One of the MCs is obsessed with the other, when he finally gets the very intense and possessive attention of the other MC, he starts having this breakdown.

The pace was fast since it was a short story. The flow was very repetitive. There was zero on page spice. The only indicator they (possibly) had sex phrases like “he claimed me”, “I was beneath him”

I don’t know. It could have been a really great dark story. It just didn’t hit the mark…at all.

I should have read the reviews.

It wasn't bad but a lot of stuff is skipped. A lot of plot that should have been there to flesh everything out so it made more sense. It fades to black through the whole thing. Honestly we don't know anything of any substance about either character, the school, the friends. It even fades to black on the smut too so you can't even say it's just a fun read. If it had been Kindle unlimited I may have given it 3 starts but since I actually had to pay to read it I'm a little upset that I wasted the money. The idea is good but it needs a lot of work.

Disappointed

I absolutely adore a dark MM possessive, obsessive you're mine, don't touch book. Unfortunately this story was all over the place back and forth with I want to I don't. Let's play a game that never went anywhere, the chemistry was there but the execution wasn't whatsoever and it didn't even go into detail for the spicy, I really wanted to like this book but it let me down.
