I am SO grateful for this book. It has had such a profound impact on me that is hard to describe. I read it all in a single sitting, which I’ve never done before. It also made me cry like no book ever has. I am certain that God sent this book to me at the exact right time when my soul needed it.
Since then, I launched a life group at my church, and we’ve been studying the book together. Wow, wow, wow — God has been at work in all of us through the life group. It’s been incredible! We are loving this book and the conversations that it inspires.
To speak more plainly about the book — the writing style is very easy-going and relatable. The chapters are a great, manageable size. Brad breaks down each line from Psalm 23 and devotes a chapter to it, weaving in personal anecdotes and testimonies along the way.
Resilient Soul is one that I know I’ll return to again in the future. It speaks life; it speaks healing, and it points to peace.

WOW! Focused on Psalm 23, this page-turner of a book dissects the expectation gap in life, how to live with hope, knowing that the end is worth the wait. Pastor Brad has a true gift from God in the way he speaks and writes.
