I came home to bury my father… and ended up in bed with three mountain men.
The last person I expected to see at the funeral was Jake Blackwood— My best friend’s older brother, My first love turned bearded mountain god.
He brought backup. Two ex-SEALs who share his cabin in the woods.
Noah is the calm in the storm. Eli's the storm itself. He blames me for the past. I blame him for that kiss in the woodshed.
Then the threats started. Jake insists I stay with them. I should’ve said no. But I didn’t.
Being snowed in with a mountain man is a bad idea... Let alone three. And falling for all of them? Disastrous.
Their mouths ruin me. Their hands worship me. And I still want more.
Now I'm in love with three dangerously protective men I might not survive to keep. It's reckless. It's addictive. But if we make it out alive, I'm never letting them go.
She came home to bury her father. She stayed for the fight, and found love in the last place she expected.
Charlotte (h) never planned to return to Pine Ridge. But after her estranged father’s death, she’s pulled back into the mountains, surrounded by secrets, danger, and three men determined to protect her. Jake (H), Eli (H), and Noah (H) were once her father’s allies. Now they’re her protectors, whether she wants them or not.
As Charlotte uncovers evidence of environmental crimes and corruption, the threats grow darker. So does her connection to the men who stand between her and everything closing in. What starts as protection becomes something else. Trust. Intimacy. Love. Not just with one of them, but all three.
Grief turns to purpose. Fear turns to strength. In the same wilderness her father died defending, Charlotte finds her voice, and a future she never imagined. With Jake’s steadiness, Eli’s fire, and Noah’s quiet strength, she learns to fight for the land, for justice, and for a love that defies expectations.
Charlotte begins as a woman hardened by grief and distance. Through danger, discovery, and raw connection, she grows into the version of herself her father always saw. Jake softens. Eli opens up. Noah stands steady. Together, they don’t just survive, they rebuild something none of them expected.
Their bond begins with caution, but trust changes everything. What forms is a relationship grounded in honesty, loyalty, and deep emotional connection. A polyamorous love that holds its own against loss, threat, and the wilderness itself.
A steamy, RH, mountain man, small town, survival romance, exploring grief, healing, trust, belonging, environmental conservation, justice, found family, love, sacrifice, redemption, resilience, identity, transformation, loyalty, and unconventional relationships.
Shared by Three Mountain Men is part of the Mountain Men Why Choose series. It's a steamy, forced-proximity, reverse-harem romantic suspense. Charlotte is a sassy girl home after 10 years for her father's funeral. She has been estranged from him after the death of her mother as he threw himself into his environmental work. His death is suspicious to her. Jake, her best friend's brother and her ex, along with his friends, Eli and Jake, were asked to protect her by her late father. They are all ex-military and have a special bond, usually sharing women too. Her leaving crushed Jake, but now that she is back, he realizes his friends also want her. Can he share her? Is she here to stay? This was a steamy, fast-paced read with hot chemistry and a happy ending, after a lot of danger, drama, and angst. It was a little long, but still a great read.

Charlotte Adams has returned to Pine Ridge to attend the funeral of her father, a man she hadn't spoken to for ten years. She had told him that his mountain was a prison, and he'd replied that she'd regret leaving. They were both correct.
Her father, Robert, was a well-known environmentalist who owned the largest private nature preserve in the country and was also a member of the town council. He'd been a stranger to her for a third of her life.
His death was ruled an accidental fall, but she doesn't believe that. He'd been walking those trails and knew them like the back of his hand. He wouldn't slip and fall. Someone caused his death.
Her mother died of cancer when Charlotte was sixteen. Her father buried himself in his research rather than grieve for her. He had even been too busy protecting Pine Ridge's delicate ecosystem to attend her college graduation.
The parents of her best friend, Lily Blackwood, raised her after the death of her mother. She and her parents never realized that her brother, Jake, and Charlotte had a romantic relationship. Lily always referred to Charlotte's father as Uncle Rob. She's now an actress in a crime show.
The memorial service is interrupted with the entrance of Lily's brother, Jake, and his two friends, Noah and Eli. Jake had followed in his father's footsteps and joined the military after college despite swearing he'd never do that. He worked as an intelligence officer.
Her father had contacted Jake about a month ago. He had concerns. A week before his death, he'd asked Jake to watch over Charlotte if something should happen to him. Jake knows that Robert had pushed Charlotte away to protect her from harm. . Noah Sullivan and Eli Rivers were members of the same Navy squad as Jake. The three of them have an unusually strong attachment to each other. They share everything, including women. Eli is attracted to her, despite the disgust he feels towards her treatment of Jake. There's something very different in the relationship with Charlotte. In the past, when a woman was shared, she'd been desired by only one of them. However, all three of them desire Charlotte.
Eli had once worked for Durant Timber for three months doing security work. During that time he uncovered the company's illegal activities. The same activity her father had discovered. The activity that signed Robert's death decree when he refused to be bribed or to stop his investigation.
Charlotte now works for an environmental consulting firm in Chicago. She's been able to discover even more of Robert's research and interpret more of his data. Durant Timber is more involved with illegal activities than they first believed.
On their last trip to retrieve Robert's information, Durant captures Charlotte. Can her men rescue her in time? Even if they do, will she stay or return to Chicago?

Charlotte is back home to attend her father's funeral, which is hard because of her strained relationship with him. Her Dad, Robert, threw himself into his work more once her mother passed away, which meant their relationship became strained.
Charlotte, who was devoted to her boyfriend Jake, was best friends with his sister Lily, decided to leave the town to go to college, leaving everything and everybody behind her.
At the funeral, Charlotte comes face to face with Jake, who has filled out into a more perfect specimen. The pull to him is still there, but she is only there briefly to deal with her father's estate. Until she finds out that Jake and his two associates, Eli and Noah, have been retained by her father to protect Charlotte from things he discovered. Charlotte needs to finish her father's research on the impact a certain businessman has had on the environment. Where bribes, falsifying documents, and dodgy permits are just part of the course for him.
Jake, who lost the love of his life when Charlotte left, has never gotten over her. Now she's back, will his heart be able to handle her walking away again once all the evidence has been gathered and handed over to the authorities? He has a very strong bond with his friends and brothers-in-arms, Eli and Noah. They have shared in the past, but when he realises both are interested in Charlotte, can he share her?
All four are determined to finish what Robert started, what he lost his life trying to prove. They will come together and work as one to uncover the truth. This closeness makes the attraction too hard to ignore. Passions run deep, and when the men ask Charlotte to consider an offer, is she willing to take that leap and grab onto it? Will she break not one heart but three when it's time for her to leave?

Buried My Past… and Got Loved Back to Life by Three Mountain Gods ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and a cold shower or three) Whew, y’all. When I tell you I cracked open Shared by Three Mountain Men just looking for a spicy escape, I was not prepared to fall headfirst into a snowstorm of heat, heart, and holy hell, did that just happen?! Brooklyn Cox knew exactly what she was doing with this one. This isn’t just hot—it’s emotional, raw, and honestly kinda healing in the most sinfully delicious way. From the moment I stepped back into town with the heroine, I felt that weight. That ache of loss, that awkward sting of facing your past (and Jake Blackwood—dear God, Jake), and then bam—in come Noah and Eli, and suddenly I’m in a very cozy cabin with three very different but equally irresistible mountain men. Jake? Still the one that makes my heart race and my knees weak. He’s got that broody, big brother turned sinfully sweet protector thing down. Noah? Calm, steady, with hands that know how to undo more than just buttons. He’s the soothing balm I didn’t know I needed. And Eli? My chaos king. Rough, sharp edges, old grudges—but with a mouth that could both ruin and redeem me. That man growls, and I folded like a damn lawn chair. What I didn’t expect? The tension, the suspense, the actual danger stalking her. I wasn’t just turning pages for the spice (though let’s be real—10/10, ruined me), I was rooting for them. All four of them. Because buried beneath all that heat was something real. A chance to heal. To forgive. To love fiercely and without apology. And that ending? Let's just say if loving three protective, possessive, insanely sexy mountain men is wrong… I don’t ever want to be right. So yeah. I came for the fantasy. I stayed for the feels. And I’d happily get snowed in again—with Jake, Noah, and Eli keeping me warm. 💋❄️🔥
Sublime read I read with glorious greed . It has all the feels but it’s real nitty gritty angst as well as hot romance. Charlotte Adams is home for her father’s funeral . What she doesn’t know yet is that her ex was approached by her dad Robert to look out for her as he himself loves his daughter but he has always kept her at bay to keep her safe from harm . It seems that trouble has found him and his schemes so if anything should happen . Jake will know that it’s a take out job and thus Robert’s daughter will need protection …Jake is her best friend’s older brother and oh brother her ex just grown a beef of mountain god proportions…and he brought spares. Two Navy Seals no less . Impressed? Oh my ! But who’s splitting heirs ? She certainly isn’t happy at first but what can she do when she starts getting threats ,she’s moved into the cabin in the woods and the three becomes four ,a tight squeeze that has her on her knees and feeling pleasure …and begging for an encore …after a tentative start and mistrust she looks forward to even Eli’s thrusts. Snowed and addicted to each of her mountain men . She gets to the point she needs to be thanks to these beefcakes that aren’t just muscle but can hustle and get things done for this hon of theirs . Just polyamorous players in the game of life with all of its tribulations and its strife. We are drawn in and rooting for them ,these three men and their little lady . One found family with heart never to part but grow stronger in their bonding and a better understanding of their unique relationship with no limits and lots of love. Awesome writing as ever by Brooklyn Cox All the heat and ever so sweet too. The writing is sublime
Oh my gosh, I devoured this book, leaving behind most responsibilities for the better part of a day and a half and staying up far too late.
The characters were so different in their own ways and considering the author had to create three separate men with one goal, Charlotte. There was a bit angst between her and one of them, but the angst wasn’t too bad in my opinion.
The spicy scenes were just that, I’d give them 5 out of 5 jalapeños. Some were a bit repetitive but I loved how each MMC brought something special to the bedroom.
Now, the suspense. The reason I ordered takeout for dinner instead of cooking and stayed up until four in the morning. The mystery and the “what’s going to happen next?” Had me on the edge of my seat.
The meaning behind the whole premise of the book besides romance was really neat and informative without being too educational.
The only reason I’m deducting a star would be that there were some editing errors. Inconsistencies and repetitive paragraphs but other than that, I wish I could just deduct half a star because this book was one of the best reverse harems I have read in a while.
Original in the best way. I’m partial to the mountain men stories and this one. Phew, blew it out of the water.

If you are a fan of Brooklyn's work then you know what you will get in this book. Drama, Spice and men you get addicted to. Spoiler alert:
Charlotte returned home to her childhood home for the funeral of her father, a man who seemingly cared more about the mountains and the wildlife there than he had about seeing her succeed. Coming home brings back memories she would rather forget, but she soon runs into her ex Jake. She had left him behind when she left, but seemingly those feelings never left. Can she rekindle the relationship especially when the deal includes his two comrades in arms, Noah and Eli. Charlotte soon finds herself relying on these men as she discovers how her father really died and picks up the mantle of her fathers work. There is drama, passion, for the men and for a family of endangered mountain lions and think play room with enough toys to make any girl blush. A well written book, with characters you cant help but adore. I highly recommend this book.

OMG this was another great book. The book cover caught my attention after the first page I couldn't even put it down. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down . Charlotte had daddy issues with her father during her growing up days. Her father passed away but she had to come back home for his funeral. And then she ran into her ex's Jake who was the one who broke her heart. Now that Jake saw Charlotte again he wanted to protected her with the help of himself, Eli, and Noah they were sent to protect Charlotte from the people who was trying to hurt her . But she never thought that she would be falling in love with them all in this moment. Things in her life were about to change in a good way as we speak but she couldn't fight the temptation and the chemistry was captivating and the physical attraction were spicy hot of passion and lovely of romance. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones
This is a RH Must Read! I could not put the book down until it was finished. Charlotte returning home in order to bury her father and suspecting it was not a natural death knowing her father and his protective nature of the wilderness. Charlotte's father had set up protection for her involving three hot navy seal friends. Her ex Jake and his seal friends Noah & Eli. It kept me wanting to hope and cheer for the guys. They were put through adventure and suspense to find out the truth of what happened to her father and protect the wilderness he loved so much. The group was put through alot, but also would not stop until they got the truth. The ending was justice for her father and the wilderness he loved so much. Charlotte seemed to finally understand her father and his commitment to the the wilderness. She also found unwavering love with the guys and peace with the wilderness.
This was another engaging RH romance by this author and I loved the evolution of Charlette, embittered by loss and estrangement to her deceased father, into the woman she was always meant to be. Jake, Eli and Noah, once friends of her father, are now her protectors, whether she realizes she needs them or not. Of course, finding out that her father didn't die of natural causes and also put a clause in his will that she had to stay for three months before selling his cabin/land, really puts her in the line of fire. Secrets, danger, mystery, survival and hot romance abound in this exciting romance and I loved the reading ride. Good fun!
This is a reverse harem story that is an enjoyable read with a women returning home and three men wanting to protect her. The story is about Charlotte, Jake, Eli and Noah. After losing her estranged father she decides to return home for his funeral. She is surprised to see Jake, her best friends' brother, among other things. He is there with his best friends Eli and Noah. Little does she know, she is in danger. Prior to her father's death, he had reached out to Jake. He asked him to protect her. The chemistry between them is strong and irresistible. The story was good with the steam, drama, suspense, action, danger, mystery and intrigue.
What do I love more than drama and action in my books? Steamy romance! If you didn't come here for the steamy scenes, well, then why would you look at a book with three men and one woman on the cover? Lol. This book has it all. Great writing, captivating storyline, hot men, grief, conflict, bad guys, beautiful wildlife and nature, did I mention hot men? And a HEA, of course. Highly recommend!
My rating system: 5=will read again 4=recommend to everyone 3=recommend to anyone liking that particular writing style/trope 2=do not recommend 1=DNF.

This book was great. The chemistry between Charlotte, Jake, Noah and Eli was perfect. I loved that when I thought the story was going in one direction it went a completely different direction. This wasn't just a romance novel it also had action.
When Charlotte returns home for her fathers funeral she would have never expected the ex she left behind a decade ago to show up with back up and a mission from her deceased father. Will their mission go up in smoke or will they be able to finish what her father started? Romance, Action, Mercinaries out for blood what will happen? ENJOY 😉!!.

This is a new to me author and I enjoyed the writing style. A little mystery, lots of intrigue and a whole lot of steam. The story is well written with interesting characters that are believable. There is so much stuff going on here and it keeps the story interesting. I will definitely be reading more by the author.
When Charlotte returns to her mountain home for her father's funeral, she learns that her ex and his two buddies were hired to keep her safe from her father's adversaries. I've read several books written by Brooklyn Cox; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Mountain Men Why Choose Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Charlotte, Jack, he’s her best friend’s brother, & his roommates Eli & Noah.
She went home for her father's funeral and to get his estate settled. She arrives to a protection team, threats and the fact her fathers was murdered. Will the protection team her father hired before he was killed be able to keep her safe? I loved this story, it is an amazing original story with wonderful characters and it has all the feels.
Overall it is a good book, a lil long and drawn out but still a good read. The three MMC were all fun in their own way. I felt like there were scenes that weren’t described as well which made it a lil confusing at times but not enough to distract from the overall scene. I have read a couple others by this author which I liked a lil better.
