This is a fun little side story that delves into the lives of the Ivy House Crew.
Edgar does not cheat in flower shows. He might use a magically enhanced serum, but anyone could do that. It's not his fault the other competitors don’t know magic exists!
But when the Ivy House crew goes to the pre-show to support him, it becomes clear that someone should've been watching Edgar much more carefully. What he's done is way worse than overgrown flora.
While Jessie is dealing with that, she gets a shock as she discovers photos of her ex with his girlfriend…turned fiancée. And while the flood of emotions can be ignored, the desire to show off Austin on social media is not.
After putting Mr. Tom in charge of the flower fiasco, she decides to take Austin on his perfect date. Her goal: to have one thing go right in her life. Just one thing!
Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Basic Plot: Jessie and company save the public from Edward's flowers and the crew from an attacking pack.
This was very short in comparison to the other books, but this resulted in a tighter story with more of the fun elements and less of the draggy bits. I really enjoyed it, and how it showed Austin and Jessie solidifying their bond and relationship.
A fun novella in the series that shows some of the day to day life of the crew. One of the chapters features Edgar who is one of the most delightful characters in the series. Cute story overall but it could have been cut into 2 chapters and added to the books before or after this one.
