I really enjoyed this book, even though I already know the story. But still it wasn’t what I was expecting it to be despite my relation to Sarah, the author of Twisted Forms of Love.
I don’t want to say much, I’m not much of a reviews writer anyways, plus I really don’t want to be the story spoiler.
I am very pleased with the way Sarah told her story, it was very well written. I liked the way she developed her characters, and the plot was well thought off. To me, I got to admit, this story made me really sad, because there were so many details I didn’t know, and at the same time really happy, because she found the courage to write. Hopefully by writing this she could finally get it off her chest.
You may say that I am giving Sarah a good reviews because she is related to me, but I guarantee you that when you read it yourself you will know that this not the reason why.
I do believe that this is a very good book.
And I had to add one more thing, to Sarah.
I am very proud of you …

I picked this book because it is based on a true story novel, and I got to say that I did not expect to enjoy it the way I did. It was a fantastic read.
The story begins in Lebanon, a small country in the Middle-East, during the civil war.
Hannah, the main character, is a Muslim Lebanese who lives with her family amongst Christians, and this book is her journey, she goes through many unexpected obstacles and fate wasn't always on her side. This book brought many emotions to life, I felt sad, shocked and fascinated by the Lebanese culture, the war scenes, the abuse Hannah and her family had to endure. I found myself turning a page after another, I just couldn't put the book down.

The plot is solid and well organized, overall I do recommend this book.

I found this book enjoyable and very moving. It started off a little slow but quickly caught my attention and before I knew it I had to finish it. The book is well written. Definitely recommend.
