Pizza Planet is an absolute treat — fun, clever, and full of heart from the very first page. This story is everything early readers love: a little adventure, a lot of humor, and a message about belonging that lands in the sweetest way. It’s the kind of book kids want to read again just to revisit their favorite characters (and maybe because it makes them crave pizza!).
The author does a wonderful job blending silliness with meaning. Beneath the fun and all the yummy pizza moments, there’s a real message about finding your place and discovering that who you are is more important than trying to fit in. For ages 6–10, this hits that perfect middle ground — entertaining enough to keep them laughing, and thoughtful enough to spark real conversation.
The illustrations add so much charm, color, and personality. Every page feels lively and fun, and the whole world of Pizza Planet comes to life in a way that makes reading feel like play. My little one was completely hooked — and declared it a “must-read again tomorrow” book.

The world-building is so creative Mozzarella Mountains, the Sauce Sea, and Cheese Canals it’s the kind of imaginative setting that makes kids’ eyes light up.

This book is a lot of fun. Kids will laugh at the silly pizza puns from the first page. Pizza Planet has bright, colorful pictures and a story that keeps bedtime reading light and funny. The characters like Pepperoni Pirate and Bella Pepper are silly and funny. I also like that it sneaks in a good message about including everyone without being preachy. It's a good bedtime read.
If your child likes pizza or just funny books with a positive lesson, this one is worth adding to your library. There’s a lot of text on the page so it’s meant to be read by adults to children, but overall kids probably won’t notice or mind.

Yummy pizza
This is the second book in the Hungry Way series, after Burger Planet and both books totally made me hungry. This is an engaging story that combines humor with meaningful messages. It has vibrant illustrations that keep the reader's attention.
