Rachel spent two decades being everything her family needed—devoted wife, PTA volunteer, domestic goddess. But when a mysterious single dad appears at her son’s school, something shifts. He’s confident. Composed. Completely off-limits. That only makes him more tempting.
Her husband Caleb sees it too—and instead of shutting it down, he asks her one “Do you want him?”
What starts as a whispered fantasy becomes a series of bold, permission-fueled encounters. Rachel discovers a hunger she didn’t know she had—and a marriage stronger than she imagined. But when they’re invited to a party where nothing is off the table, she’ll have to decide how far she’s willing to go.
Hotwife kink. Voyeurism. Exhibitionism. A loyal husband who wants to watch. A confident woman who finally lets herself be seen.
If you love emotionally charged erotica with real characters, real heat, and a seriously filthy payoff—Sharing Rachel is for you.

I love the banter in this book between Rachel and Caleb. It’s funny and witty. This is a single pov story.
Both of the main characters remember how it used to be so intimate and fun, but neither acts on it at the time. Then they shared an experience that both of them wanted and openly communicated to each other afterwards. It was quite beautiful. There was a part of this book that had me smiling and I wasn’t even aware of it. Lol. You’ll know when you get there. This was a really fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend it.

Great banter between Rachel and her husband, Caleb. They used to have great intimate times but as the years have gone by, things have really dropped off in the sex dept.. Then..along comes Julian and things really take off, all with husband's agreement. A really enjoyable, sexy sharing book with some nice comedic elements.

This is my first Raven Merlot book, and I see she has written many. I was captivated by the writing style.
This book is entirely written from the wife’s point of view. She seems to be a very organized and disciplined (no, not that type of disciplined) woman with kids and a husband. She’s a good organizer and the story primarily revolves around organizing events at the school. Interestingly, the kids never show up in the book, and never seem to cut into Rachel’s action.
It seems that Rachel and husband Caleb have had an interesting bedroom life, but after 13 yr, both seem to be wanting more, something to catch their interest. Rachel spots a father at school, and the ball is rolling with Caleb’s full support.
This book is more seduction, and Rachel & Caleb getting on the same page. The scenes are fairly straight forward.
As I write this review, I’m having second thoughts about my rating. There is only the seduction, exploration and branching out in this story. There’s little character development - maybe just some refinding themselves? And no story outside the seduction. I don’t believe there is a sequel to this book, which is disappointing. The Epilogue sets the stage for the next leg in their journey: sadly we won’t get to read it.
In the end, I’m relying on the writing style that so well matches Rachel and Caleb for my rating.
It starts slowly, with some knowledge that things aren’t quite what they want at first. They talk a little and she sees the new guy.
Without the husband’s complete understanding she starts trying to meet up with mister new. Not in a sexual way, but she does spend extra time figuring out her clothing.
The husband feels something is happening and soon they arrange for a sexual get together.
It’s here that she announces, on multiple occasions, that she’s doing all of this for him, her husband. I mean come on, sure the husband loves to watch. But she’s the one who is having sex and for sure getting off from it.
At this time she also becomes completely submissive, looking to her husband for whatever she does sexually.
All of this when she was the one at first who was pursuing the new guy.
For me there was a disconnect from the first part of the story and the last part. And basically the story had two parts. At first it centers around her reaching out to the new guy in “town.”
Once she has sex with him, that’s all that happens. She has sex with him, her husband and others that she meets.
I loved the first part when she’s on the move. But then all normal hesitation is gone and suddenly multiple sexual opportunities come forward and that’s all that happens in the second half. Sex here, sex there and sex everywhere. No real story between husband and wife.
As you can see, I loved the beginning pursuit, but then lost interest when it just became sex and we seemed to lose the person.
I still enjoyed reading it, but less so as I read more of the “story.” I think I would have liked it a lot more if all the foreplay wasn’t used up in the first half.
Rachel is the dutiful wife and mother. She feels something is missing. When a new single dad shows up at a PTA meeting, she is interested. Her husband also takes notice and they have an honest discussion. They both find common ground.

I received an ARC of this book and I really liked this story. You get the raw emotion of being nervous about trying new things and wondering if and how your relationships will change and finding a new normal once you've tried something new.
Sharing Rachel is the fourth book in the Shared Wives series. This is another sizzling hot and erotic story by a smutty author, in the best way that is. The story is about about married couple Rachel and Caleb who have been happy and living the normal suburban life for twenty years. But Rachel is starting to feel like there is something missing. It all starts with a fantasy with a journey that takes them to places they never thought about before.
Rachel has started feeling uncomfortable with the life her and Caleb starting to fall into. They seem to be on different paths with their love life, just going through the motions. When Rachel meets an intriguing gentleman at the school aid functions. She starts to wish there was something more she could do with him in her dreams. She becomes obsessed with these feelings. Caleb starts to figure there is something bothering Rachel and tells her to think of him when they are having sex. To imagine it is him servicing her. Then Caleb figures out who it is that has her attention. Caleb invites Julian to drinks after a school social. When Caleb starts to propose something to Julian, Julian immediately states what he is suggesting. He has done this before with other couples and agrees to participate with Rachel in this experiment of lust. Once they meet and all goes well, Julian invites them to attend a adult party where anything consenting couples want to do can happen. This party furthers Rachel's freeing her sexual self. Overall this book was a good read, but if you are looking for situations to stimulate yourself, there are very few as far as I was concerned. Lots of verbiage and not enough sexual action for me.

Rachel has been going with the flow. Not excited, not depressed, just there. One night in bed, after being intimate with her husband, she asks Caleb if he ever thinks of something else. After he opens up she admits to thinking of someone else, occasionally. It's Julian, the hot dad from school. While having drinks with Julian he figures out what they want and admits that he's been a third before. The night Julian comes over everything is going slow. Rachel is constantly checking in with Caleb. She starts to relax with Julian when she realizes she feels chosen, by Caleb. And this begins their path into a new lifestyle. I like how Rachel and Caleb talked before anything got out of hand. I like how Julian was open and upfront with them during drinks. I enjoyed how Julian reminded Caleb that Rachel was his when things first got started. I enjoyed when Calab spoke up, even when he didn't realize he was going to say something. I would've liked to see protection used, who knows where else Julian had played. I loved when Rachel surprised Caleb with Maddie, taking him from director to participant again.

Another solid addition to the Sharing collection. Merlot’s writing style lends itself to these slow-burn hotwife novellas. There’s a depth to the characters that so much popular hotwife erotica lacks. Subtle. Complex. Hot. At times Sharing Rachel feels almost poetic. Each book is quite unique and not at all cookie cutter. Definitely enjoying the series.

Rachel has taken notice of Julian, a new dad at several PTA meetings. While having sex with Caleb the subject of different fantasies arises and he wants her to think on Julian while they are going at it. When he is approached, Julian agrees to have sex with Rachel while Caleb watches. He later introduces them to a local swinger’s network. The epilogue has Rachel and her friend Maddie surprising Caleb with the repeat of a threesome they had 13 years earlier.

Caleb and Rachel are stuck in a rut in their lives; both are bored and are trying to not upset the smooth rhythm. Enter Julian who just by his presence awakes Rachel. Not the hottest book of Raven's I've read, but the journey the couple makes - makes for a great read.
