When a lion sets his sights on you, there's nowhere to hide.
Estelle
I’ve spent my life surviving. Quietly raising my nephew and avoiding men who destroy everything they touch. Then the Easton heir crashes into my world.
I’m certain he’s nothing more than a distraction. He has a cocky smile and a reputation for breaking hearts as easily as he wins fights.
I know better than to fall for him. But he makes me want to trust him, even when I’ve learned never to trust anyone. When Leo’s cruel father appears, I expect to face it alone. Instead, Jax steps between me and the darkness, showing me a loyalty so fierce it burns.
He wears his wealth in gold, but beneath the surface, there’s a man who will unleash hell itself to keep what’s his. And for reasons I don’t understand, that seems to be me.
Jax
Estelle is everything I didn’t know I needed. Sharp and guarded when it comes to protecting her own, a storm I want to weather. Estelle calls me a playboy, a distraction, but I know I’m meant to be hers.
I’ve spent my life chasing thrills, fighting for fame, and collecting hearts like trophies. But with Estelle, I want to stay. I want to be the man who stands between her and the world.
When danger comes calling, I do what I’ve always done best—fight. The boxing world knows me as Jax “Lion” Easton, the golden playboy, the untouchable heir. I'll break every rule and eliminate anyone who threatens what’s mine.
Because Estelle isn’t just a challenge, she’s my endgame.
Undisputed Player (Book 2) is a dark, steamy romance set in the Undisputed Series, featuring a cocky playboy with a heart of gold and the fiercely protective woman who teaches him what it means to love. This story contains 18+ themes of explicit content, possessive behavior, and morally grey characters who will do anything for those they consider theirs.
Let me start by saying… I wish I had Jax’s level of self-confidence, lol. He came in as this self-absorbed, ego-driven billionaire, and at first, I was so annoyed with him. But honestly? That quickly turned into one of the best things about him. Estelle needed someone exactly like that.🙃
I loved how Jax was all in from the moment he laid eyes on her. And Estelle… my heart. She’s been through so much, so I completely understood her resistance when Jax tried to take over. But the way he never gave up on her? Swoon! Their chemistry was the perfect mix of sweet and sizzling.💕
And the banter between Jax, Adrian and Connor, lol. one of the best part of the book!
Plus, Leo and Avery — absolute cuteness overload! Now I’m just waiting for Adrian’s story 📚
I really liked it. She is a very poor teacher. He is a very rich professional boxer. He sees her one day when he drops off his niece at school and he falls in love at first sight.
She says no to a date. He is not sure how to deal with it, as he has never been rejected before.
So he comes up with a plan. He will pretend to be hit by a car near her place so she has to help him.
He buys her designer clothes. He takes her out to a restaurant with a view.
He buys the security company so he can watch her on camera at home and school.
He was just so obsessed.
He was very kind to her adopted son, her sister died of an overdose so she is his mom now.
I did have one issue. The hero really likes using his gun on her during intimate moments.
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
📚 What it’s about: Estelle has spent her whole life surviving one day at a time. Raising her nephew, avoiding med who could destroy her and take her nephew away. Counting coins to pay the bills and keep a leaking roof over their heads. Then in walks Jax Easton, playboy billionaire World Champion Boxer. With his cocky smile and reputation for breaking hearts, Estelle knows she should stay away from him. But when Leo's drug cartel father comes around, it's Jax who steps in to protect both Estelle and Leo, showing her that she can trust him. Jax would put his life on the line to protect what's his, and Estelle and Leo are his, whether they realise it or not.
💭 My thoughts: I absolutely loved Estelle. She was quiet, honest, hardworking and loyal to a fault. Giving up her life to give her nephew everything she has. Jax had so much energy, feeling on top of the world like he had everything in life he could ever possibly want, until he saw Estelle standing in the school classroom, and then he realised he had nothing if he didn't have her. He wouldn't let anything stand in his way of claiming what was his. Leo absolutely captured my heart. His Dino knowledge, his love for his aunt, his relationship with Avery. I wanted to wrap him in a hug and give him everything myself. I enjoyed how the story unfolded. I love the dynamic of the 3 guys, Connor, Jax and Adrian, and all the morally grey stuff they do to protect their loved ones. I felt the book could have had another once over in the edit department, as it had quite a few error throughout, but overall I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to Adrian's book.

“Undisputed Player” by Renee Mo Series: The Undisputed Book 2 (interconnected series, can be read as a standalone) Genre: Dark Romance Rating: 5⭐️ Spice: 5🌶️ Darkness:5🩶 POV: Dual
Highlights: 💙Playboy Professional Boxer MMC 💙Virgin Teacher FMC 💙Stalker/Obsessed MMC 💙Touch Her and D!3 Vibes
Thoughts: Young Teacher Estelle wants nothing but to protect her young nephew and keep him from his drug dealing father. Jax is a rich playboy athlete who runs through women until he falls at first sight of Estelle. I love the schemes he goes to to woo her, he’s so calculated and sure she’s destined for him. The spice in this series was super hot, there was some action and suspense and Jax’s stalking and protection was quite romantic. This was a great book and a wonderful series so far.
🛑Please read all the author warnings as themes and events in this book could be triggering. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Story: This is the second book in the series. The first one was about Connor. Here, Jax, golden boy, rich billionaire get obsessed with Estelle, dirt poor teacher who works until exhaustion and skip meals just to keep guardianship of her nephew. For once, the Grumpy X sunshine' is reversed. She is grumpy, he is sunshine. I did like it a bit less than the first one, but it's mainly because I am not fan of brat type in relationships.
Characters: Estelle: I feel for her. She starve herself, deny herself everything just to feed her nephew. She works until it's unhealthy just to keep him safe. She is independent, always trying her best for her nephew. But she is also a brat with jax and that... was a meh. Jax: As usual, I am in love with that guy. I said it in the previous book, but his predator side...*Fan herself*. But be warned, he has one hell of an ego. If zade's ego in haunting Adeline was a solid 7/10, jax is 100/10. Like... REALLY. Leo and Avery: I don't like kids, but those two.... I wanna see their adult selves, with Avery being a ball of energy and chaos, while Leo is the collected one following her, and secretly trained by jax to be overprotective. Yes I have their future planned, sue me. Adrian: BESTIE <3 I mean he love cats, he has a library colour coded by tropes, and he has LOTS of toys (no the stabby kind) Connor and Sierra: They still make me swoon, and Connor big protector type... mohhhhh <3
Romance: Like for the first book, it is insta love for him, not her. There is a process to make her feel safe, and that is beautiful. Jax's love is act of service, feeding her, buying food, taking care of her. And Estelle takes time to make space for him. The spice is spicing :p and it has some creative use for a gun. Take notes ZADE!!!!! ahem.
Now, since I already have the third book <3 thank you renee!!!
As always this blew me away. Had me in tears as Connor and Adrian protected Estelle even though they just met her. She was already family, especially Connor taking her literally under his arm and helping her calm down. Adrian is such an unhinged goofball, but he’s so protective.
Jax was so good in this. He met her and it was love at first sight. She didn’t care who he was, he didn’t care about her circumstances. All he wanted was her and he loved Leo from the moment they met. He didn’t even care. Just took him in as his kid like his father did his brothers.
I do need more daddy Easton though.
I love that she stayed independent through it all though, and that Jax knew how much it meant to her that she stayed independent through that way, even as she still relied on him. Love their dom/sub relationship. It’s so subtle, yet so clearly there at the same time. And miss independent Estelle is such a brat but loves being told what to do at the same time. She deserves someone caring of her, finally someone else making all the hard decisions instead.
I liked this so much! I am so glad I got to read this as an ARC.
I didn’t personally connect with the MC’s as much as the first book but I loved them together! Some of the reason was how often it was mentioned that he was rich and she was poor. He didn’t ever rub it in her face or make her feel bad, but there was a complex of it in this and it became repetitive.
However,
Estelle and Jax, both putting on some kind of armor. Her, with how strong and resilient and tough she’s had to be, since taking on guardianship of her nephew after her sisters passing. And him, his persona as a playboy just so people (especially women) not getting too close because they want to be with him for his money and fame.
I loved how Estelle could feel safe and soft in Jax’s presence and grew confidence to push back against him because she knew she could trust him. I loved how Jax didn’t even take more than a second to think about the fact Estelle is a mom. And he wanted to protect not only her, but her nephew, Leo as well. He wanted to be their family and he proved it wasn’t temporary to her!
There is one thing about Leo’s character I didn’t like. He is 5 years old and he speaks like he’s an adult. I get he has had to be weary with all the trauma in his life, but even with a ton of trauma, children, especially that age, do not speak as maturely as being portrayed. It’s one of my pet peeve’s in books, unfortunately.
Here are some tropes and TW’s to look out for: *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* - playboy MMC/strict FMC - single parent - virgin FMC - rich MMC/poor FMC - instalust - tension - untrusting FMC - obsessed and possessive MMC - he falls first - stalker MMC - spicy 🌶️ - gvn play (unloaded, safety on, BUT it is used in both her mouth and vagina in 2 different intimate scenes) - mentions of drvg use/overdose - death of a loved one (not on page. Happens before book starts) - graphic on page torture (easy to skip) -mvrder
I definitely still recommend!! Can’t wait for the 3rd book!
Sexy millionaire playboy Jax starts off in the prologue as a totally self-absorbed, egotistical, misogynistic jerk which makes it that much more impactful when he falls hard and fast for our girl Estelle. I love how he gets creative with all the ways he inserts himself into her life (Come on Adrian, run me over!) and how from the moment he sets eyes on her - that’s it. He’s obsessed.
Estelle is a woman who has to fight for everything - herself, her safety, her pennies to pay rent, her custody of her sister’s son Leo… She’s so used to fighting she has a hard time trusting Jax when he just wants to give her the world. But once she lets him in, she rises to her potential with him at her side.
The romance between these two is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (when the FMC completely unravels the playboy MMC, you know it’s good!) and if you’ve read the first book you know what’s gonna happen to the scum bag drug dealer trying to hurt Estelle and Leo.
Definitely pre-order and add this to your TBR when it comes out 8/31!!
Estelle is a woman who has gone through a lot of pain in her life but despite everything she has known how to move forward and get out of all the problems but now she has to take care of her nephew and fight to protect him from the dangers that surround their lives, as for Jax, he is a man who is a playboy but when his path crosses with Estelle everything changes from the moment he sees her he decides that she is his, and that is how Jax begins to enter Estelle's life to show her that she can be loved and that she can give her trust and above all Jax gives her a protection that makes Estelle for the first time in her life lower the walls that she has built to protect herself and her nephew, when things get complicated and Estelle and Leo begin to run away Jax is determined to end the danger and set the world on fire for the woman who has become the center of his world, reading the book was quite exciting I loved the way Jax was making his way to Estelle giving her security and love and Estelle loved him strong that she was that despite all the things that happened to her she knew how to move forward with strength, the relationship between Jax, Connor and Adrian those 3 are the trio of brothers not by blood but by choice and Leo who is Estelle's nephew is a boy who stole my heart. I will be eagerly awaiting Adrian's story 🔥🔥🔥
I really loved the first book, so I was really excited to get this second ARC to read. I just think it was so repetitive that so much of the book could have been condensed. I loved Estelle and Leo and their story, but the constant reminder that she was poor and Jax was rich got so old so fast.
Book Name/Series: Undisputed Player (The Undisputed #2) Author: Renée Mo Standalone?: Can be read as a standalone, but includes characters from other books.
3 Stars
My Opinion: This was a slight improvement over the first book in this series. While there were still parts I felt could have been better, overall it was a decent and enjoyable read.
I love a good rich/poor trope, and this book was a classic example of that. However, I will acquiesce that it sometimes felt like I was constantly being reminded of their difference in class. One of the reasons I like that trope so much is because I love a hero who wants and is able to give the heroine the world, and in this case is obsessed and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty to protect what’s his. The character that completely stole my heart was the heroine’s nephew Leo though, with his somewhat quiet personality and his love of dinosaurs. He was just so incredibly adorable and endearing, and I wanted more of him.
That brings me to one of my issues though: I sometimes find that in books that include children, it can feel like they’re relegated to the background, and that was the case here unfortunately. I would have loved to see more scenes showing the hero building a relationship with Leo and more moments of them together as a family. Instead, it seemed like he was constantly being foisted onto the hero’s sister for sleepovers and play dates.
An issue I had with the first book was that it wasn’t explained why the hero and his two best friends had a van for kidnapping, a warehouse for torture, and were so practised at the whole kidnap, torture, murder and disposal thing. We got a little bit more of an explanation in this book, but I still didn’t feel like it was ever properly addressed beyond the mention that it was Jax’s father who had taught them to do whatever was necessary. It was better than nothing though.
I did also think the dialogue got a little bit cringey at times and that was especially the case during the sex scenes.
Hero: 3/5. Jax (28) is a professional boxer who meets Estelle while picking his niece up from school, where Estelle teaches. He’s instantly smitten, but also completely bewildered that she isn’t falling at his feet like women usually do. He doesn’t make the best first impression though as one of the opening scenes is him kicking two women out of his house after a hookup. It took me a while to warm up to him after that, but it helped that once he meets Estelle, he becomes completely fixated on her, and it seems like other women cease to exist. Jax was quite a charming and sunshiny guy, but he could also be really intense in his possessiveness and protectiveness. Heroine: 4/5. Estelle (24) has had custody of her 5-year-old nephew Leo for 3 years ever since her sister died of a drug overdose. She’s juggling two jobs to support her and Leo, one as a teacher at a private school and then another grading papers at night, as well as facing pressure from Leo’s father, a drug dealer, who’s trying to regain custody. I really liked her. She was hardworking, caring and determined to give Leo the best life possible, even working herself to the bone to do it. Her devotion to him was one of my favourite things about her.
Thanks so much to Renee Mo for providing me with an e-ARC for this book!
I will start by saying that I lovedddddd the first book of this series, Undisputed Champion, and I was really looking forward to the continuation of this series. While I still enjoyed Undisputed Player, I felt like it unfortunately did not quite match the enjoyment I felt when reading Undisputed Champion.
While I understand that the author wanted to highlight the stark differences between Jax and Estelle--the way they were raised, the way they live, the responsibilities they have--I just felt like so much of the book was focused on how poor Estelle and Leo were and how rich Jax was. Every Estelle POV chapter in the first 30-40% of the book was just her detailing how crappy their life was because they were living in relative poverty, how poor they were, and then contrasting that against Jax's extravagant lifestyle and how much money he has, the nice car he drives, his Rolex, etc. It just became so repetitive, it was tiring. I feel like all this could have been better spent building up the conflict in this book, i.e., the custody battle with Damon for Leo. I felt like this was more of an aside rather than a main focus of the book which I think is what makes it different from Undisputed Champion. There, Sierra had ongoing issues with her stepfather that are prevalent throughout the book; that wasn't really present here. For someone with cartel connections, I expected there to be more than 1 or 2 conflicts with Damon before they kill him. I wasn't sold on it. I also did not particularly buy into the end of the book, with Jax buying everything for Estelle to create her own school when there has been nothing in the book to show that she has any kind of experience to be able to do that. She was a teacher at Leo's school, but how does that make her qualified to create her own school with her own curriculum for all grade levels? That just was not believable to me.
I did enjoy the found family aspect of the book; like with Sierra, Estelle is welcomed into the group quickly and is protected by them when it was necessary. I only wish that there was more of a development of friendship between Sierra and Estelle on page. Overall, while I didn't devour this one like I did Undisputed Champion, it was still an enjoyable read. 3.5 stars from me, rounded up.
"Undisputed Player" is a gripping addition to the Undisputed Series that expertly intertwines dark romance, intense passion, and the complexities of trust.
Renée Mo brilliantly brings to life the story of Estelle, a fiercely protective woman who has learned the hard way not to let anyone in, and Jax Easton, a cocky playboy with a hidden depth and a fierce loyalty.
The story is about possessiveness and morally grey characters who redefine love and protection. (Be still my beating heart) Estelle’s journey from wariness to vulnerability is emotional, showing us her resilience while navigating the storm that is Jax. His transformation from a thrill seeker to a devoted protector adds emotional weight to their relationship, making his possessive nature feel both compelling and justified.
The author’s writing is sharp and engaging, with vivid descriptions that pull us into the world of boxing, wealth, and danger. The chemistry between Estelle and Jax sizzles on the pages, enveloped in steam and tension. Their dialogues are hilarious, and the way they challenge each other leads to moments of growth will have you gripping your kindle.
Ultimately, "Undisputed Player" is a captivating read that explores what it means to love fiercely and protect those dearest. With its mix of steamy romance, complex characters, and a sense of danger, it’s a must read for fans of dark romance who appreciate a relationship that navigates the edge of passion and possessiveness. Prepare yourself for a wild ride that’ll leave you breathless and eager for more.
I have to admit, I really didn’t like Jax at the start, too full of himself/his legacy and his use of entitlement! But as the book goes along, you realise it’s only what he’s been made to think, Estelle brings him to his knees. And I loved them as a couple. Hoping he gets a daughter in his future (that man would go crazy protective 😜) Loved catching up with Conner/Sierra and of course our lovable “crazy” Adrian 💜 I can’t wait for the next book.
Estelle Moore- 24 years old, teacher, taking care of her nephew Leo, her sister passed away due to a drug overdose. Jax Easton- 28 years old, notorious player and amazing fighter, comes from old money.
I absolutely loved this story!!!💖💖 Estelle has come from nothing and at only 24 years old she is taking care of her five year old nephew Leo adn she is super protective and caring. She is counting the pennies and making them stretch to make sure he is taken care of.
She is such a STRONG character💖 I absolutely love her, she is so relatable in the sense of not being super trusting of the people around her and having to be cautious of everything.
Jax has always had no issues with the ladies and can be seen with models left and right, all day every day... but could the bachelor be "lonely"
He is taken away by her beauty at first sight and knew right then and there that he had to have her!!! Jax's best friends/brothers are also fighters (Connor's story is book one is this series.) they are a tight knit group and will always have each other's backs💖
I loved getting to see Connor and Sierra again, the way Renée is keeping all the friends together through the series (ughhhhh my heart 😋❤️ )
there are struggles and there are definitely some TWISTED SPICY scenes...😋❤️ im all here for the exploration...
Loving this series so much! In this book our MMC is Jax - playboy boxer, who fell hard for our FMC Estelle - independent and a survivor. Estelle became the guardian to her nephew Leo after her sister passed away - and she's struggling to keep them housed and fed. She's a teacher at a private school where Jax's niece Avery is in her class and they meet one day when Jax picks Avery up. Estelle is quite possibly the first woman to ever tell Jax no and it was perfect how he used his devious little mind (and Adrian of course because that man is CHAOS!) to get her attention, make her feel safe and step up for Estelle and Leo! The spicy scenes are so good too! This didn't have as much of the boxing in the first one - it's more background but I actually didn't mind that - since we got Jax working hard to get his girl!
I loved that we got to see more of Conner and Sierra (from the first book) and the banter between these three men who have chosen to be family - was top notch again! While you don't need to read book one - I highly recommend it - it really helps set the foundation for Jax's story, learning about his relationship with Conner and Adrian. Thanks Renee for another great ARC read and since I already have the next book - well I'm headed there now! (Also another reason to go read Undisputed Champion is that books 2 and 3 come out 8/31)
Renee just writes my type of MMC. I love an obsessed, possessive MMC. And I love her FMC’s because they are soft and feminine, sometimes a bit sassy, but def not overly fierce which I dislike, which is why I have a hard time liking most FMC’s, but so far I have loved Estelle and Sienna. In book one we got Connor and Sienna, and Connor? Let me tell you, in my top 5 MMC’s of the year!
In this book we get Jax and Estelle. A famous, rich, playboy boxer and a struggling teacher and guardian of her 5 year old nephew. At first, we really don’t like Jax. He is cocky, arrogant and a womanizer. But then, bam, one day while picking up his niece from school he takes one look at her teacher and that’s it, the end. He becomes obsessed and protective and possessive and stalker-ish. Meanwhile, she’s like “yeah right, this hot, beautiful, rich man would never want to be someone like me” and she kind of dismisses him. But he is very persistent and calculating. And her nephew Leo? So adorable and sweet. These two hit since road bumps and there is some suspense as she is dealing with a custody battle with Leo’s father. But Jax saves the day.
This was really good and I just love her writing. I can’t wait to read Adrian’s book next because he is just a wild child lol.
The Undisputed Series continues with Jax and Estelle’s passionate story. It has such a great pace, it’s intense, heartwarming, and a bit thrilling. The characters and their banter had me giggling and smiling throughout, especially if Adrian’s involved…his obsessive love for Toffee is still going strong. Theres just so much love within this found family Estelle and little Leo find themselves in, it’s the sweetest and I love it. As for the spice…Renée made sure to bring out the big guns *cough* *cough*, Estelle can also make Jax turn into a crumbling mess 🫠🥵🔥
Jax is a wealthy playboy boxer who’s never chased after a woman, he’s a lion. In comes Estelle…who carries the world on her shoulders as she’s a fierce protector and guardian to her sweet dinosaur loving nephew. Instantly captivated by Estelle something protective and possessive is triggered in Jax…he needs to have her and will do what ever it takes to get her. Jax will go to any extreme to keep Estelle and Leo safe, he is ready to fall to his knees for his princess and give her the world 🥰
I had a hard time getting invested in the first half of the book. I don’t usually enjoy spoiled rich MMCs with egos the size of their d*cks, but that’s exactly what we get here. Also, there are LOTS of inner monologues and repetitions, which almost made me DNF. That said, I decided to continue because the writing itself is great, and I’m glad I did!
In the second half, Jax, the MMC, changes completely: overprotective, murderous, caring, stalking… It’s also an insta-love situation, if you’re into those.
The plot got better AND we get to meet Connor (from the first book, which I haven’t read yet) and Adrian (next book: TOTALLY GOING TO READ IT). Adrian is the most interesting to me because he’s more like my kind of book boyfriend: insane, unhinged, sunshine-ish.
Overall, I’m excited for the next book, even if this one didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
Tropes to look for:
- Found family - Poor FMC × rich-as-f MMC - MMC is a professional fighter - No third-act breakup - Spice - Insta-love, he falls first - MMC is a stalker
Jax Easton is the blonde haired, blue eyed, bling loving boxing champion & heir to the Easton fortune. A well known playboy until he gets hit by a truck (figuratively & literally 😉) & falls head over custom made designer shoes for the sweet & hard working Estelle Moore. But she is very cautious. To show how true his intentions are, it takes a little imagination & help from his friends to woo her into submission while dealing with some unwanted attention in the process 🤭
I loved book one in this series & book two was just as good!! I was so intrigued by the dynamic of these two, coming from completely opposite backgrounds. Jax has a cheeky arrogance about him which is really quite endearing especially with how determined he is to support Elle and Leo. Her hesitation is understandable considering her past but I loved how everything played out. Connor & Adrian play their part, the text threads were hilarious!!
So excited for Adrian’s story next!! Highly recommended read!!
Check out book one, 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 so you can see how Connor & Sierra’s story comes together.
Let me just say i devoured this book, i'm so glad i got to read it early!
I loved how easily i fell back into this world, but this time it was Jax and Estelle's story.
Once Jax, meets Estelle one day picking his niece up from school, that's it he is Obsessed with Estelle, nothing is too much for her, but Estelle has trust issues and it takes a long time for her to start to trust Jax's intentions.
Jax is possessive, but caring - i can't wait to see if one day they have kids of their own because Jax has that paternal side down to a tee!
I loved seeing Connor, Aiden, Sirena and Toffee, in this story. I especially liked the text messages between the lads, the banter throughout made me smile. They are a unit, there for each other and nothing is too much.
I can't wait to read Aidens story, it will complete the circle of love!
Words will never be able to describe how much I just adore this author’s writing and the way they make their character characters. Connor and Sierra will always have a special place in my heart, but I am so in love with Estelle and Jax. I fell in love with him from the first book, so I’m so happy he got happy ever after in book 2. I love Estelle and how she stood up and became Leo’s guardian. I love her dynamic with Jax, with her learning to become more dependent. I don’t think there will be a book written by this author that I do not love.

Someone, give me water, fan and towel! This books is so hot! The men in these books *fainting* Jax, i have no words! He is loyal, hot, possessive, protective and so so so hot! I’m drooling while i try to write this review Estelle, her life, i was so sad when i read about her. Just wanted to hug her and Leo! And shield them from the world! How much can one person take and still carry on and take care of her sisters kid. So first time ever in my reading journey i am willing to share Jax with her. Just with her, no on else can have him! This book has spice(yummy), sadness, loyalty, and a man we all want! And a bit of violence too but what can you expect when the men are boxers, i mean, c’moon. Again Renee, a very amazing and good book! You are a talent and i devourded this book, just like i did with the first one! I have no doubt that the third book is gonna as amazing as the first two!
Another amazing book from Renée Mo, Undisputed Player was a great read!
This is the second book of the Undisputed Series, and it gives us the story of a side character of the first book, Jax, the MMC of this book, and if you like morally grey, possessive, cocky ex-playboy vibes you’ll love him.
Our FMC, Estelle, is a strong, selfless, survivor who never had anyone’s help, and caries a lot on her shoulders, but with Jax, she will find what she never dared to hope.
Again, the side characters were amazing and I cannot wait to see if they appear in new books.
This story was filled with romantic and spicy moments, some dark situations as well, so please check your trigger warnings first.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I really loved this story from start to finish. Estelle was such a strong and relatable heroine, taking care of her little nephew Leo while fighting through everything life threw at her. Jax was the classic playboy who fell hard and fast, completely obsessed with her from the moment he saw her. I loved how he went above and beyond to protect her and make her feel safe, and how their relationship slowly built trust and passion. The friendships and brotherly bonds around them added so much heart. It was thrilling and heartfelt all at once. Thank you so much to the author for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.
I’m a whore for insta-lust, and overly obsessive MMC’s. And Renee writes Jax perfectly. He immediately is infatuated with Estelle and does everything he can to be with her, and give her the life she deserves. He wants to see her flourish with the right care and access to whatever she needs and it’s so damn sweet how willing he is to do anything for her. Let’s also not forget he’s willing to become a father so he can be with her?! 😮💨 Estelle is so strong and powerful but still so feminine and I love it. She is so stoic in the face of danger and holds herself so high even in her lowest moments and she’s everything I wish I could be 🥹 I could gush about this book and series for hours!
OMG! I can't!! This book just sucks you in. Estelle is amazing! So strong and she's dealing with the struggle real people go through. Jax is so sweet and protective! But can we talk about him getting hit with a car lol he's crazy! Seeing him interact with Leo was the best! I adored Leo & his dinosaur knowledge. It was so amazing to see Leo & Estelle finally get everything they deserved and more! I loved every second of this book! It's pure perfection. Renee Mo is my absolute favorite author! I can't wait to read everything else she writes!
This series is the living fantasy of every freaking book girl out there. I fell in live with Renee's writing with Book 1 and now here with Book 2 I think we need to run away together. Another absolute ringer.
Jax and Estelle, my god. Everything about this is perfection. Estelle is an exceptional match for Jax and Jax, of course, lives up to EVERYTHING I expected and was hoping for from Book 1.
I laughed, I shrieked and I felt ALLLLLL the heat.
Now I'm dying for Book 3 because I KNOW iya going to be the cherry on top.
This was such a fierce yet emotional romance. Jax is such a typical playboy, cocky and good looking. His self-confidence is off the charts. His chemistry with Estelle is absolute fire, it's purely a case of when you know...You know. He knew what he wanted from the second he saw Estelle. The loyalty between them shines brighter than the sun.
This was a great second story and the fmc was something fierce. Her momma beat instinct was on point! I loved how Jax became a daddy instantly but he didn’t mow down all the emotions of Estelle and he respected her feelings. This was a great story and Jax was hilarious his antics along with Adrian’s here just next level! It’s definitely worth reading.
Obsessed and the gun scenes 😵😵 Stalking tendencies of a man obsessed, Jax is honestly a dream. At 75% I couldn't breathe, was tense and actioned packed and the Protectiveness of the guys .. ahh you couldn't ask for better book boyfriends! 😍😍
