She never imagined she'd willingly play prey to his predator.

Isla

My life looks picture-perfect online, but behind the filters and vintage charm is a girl with secret desires. Then I stupidly kissed a hot stranger and ran, one covered in tattoos with eyes that make me feel like prey.

He’s unpredictable and terrifyingly obsessed. When the past I buried resurfaces, he protects me with a ferocity that borders on madness, and suddenly, chaos feels like home.

As I'm pulled into his world of unhinged men and pet piranhas, I discover that falling for Adrian means accepting all of him, including the darkness hidden within him.

He’s not a hero, but he’s mine. And I’m not running anymore.

Adrian

When she kissed me in that club, I knew I’d never let her run away again. Isla is everything I never thought I’d deserve; perfection wrapped in a sundress, an angel I want to keep forever.

I never bothered hiding my wildness while handling things that require... cleanup. I don’t do calm. The boxing world knows me as "Catalyst," the unpredictable variable. But for her, I’ll tear the world apart and stitch it back together with blood if that’s what it takes to keep her safe.

Isla believes she's learning to embrace my darkness. What she doesn't realize is that she's the light.

Undisputed Chaos (Book 3) is a dark, steamy romance set in the Undisputed Series, featuring an unhinged boxer with sadistic tendencies and a sunny influencer with hidden desires. This story contains 18+ themes of explicit content, possessive behavior, and morally grey characters who will do anything for those they consider theirs.

Book Name/Series: Undisputed Chaos (The Undisputed #3)
Author: Renée Mo
Standalone?: Can be read as a standalone, but includes characters from other books.

3 Stars

My Opinion: While there were a couple of aspects that didn’t work for me, this was still an enjoyable read overall.

One of my favourite aspects was the dynamic between Adrian and Isla. His obsessive, dominant personality paired with her softer, more submissive one worked well for me, and I love a codependent couple. I also appreciated the found family and the friendships in this story as well.

It’s interesting to see how the author’s writing has improved over the course of this series so far, but there were still parts that felt quite repetitive, like the number of references to Adrian’s tattoos for example. It felt constant, and it got quite annoying in the long run. Another issue I occasionally came across was that parts of the book felt a bit cringey and melodramatic. An example of when I felt this was the case was in the beginning when Adrian is “hunting” Isla and he goes on about the hunter/prey aspects of their relationship. I think it was supposed to show Adrian’s intensity and darker nature, but to me it just came across as awkward.

I also didn’t feel like the villain (Isla’s ex) was very compelling or fully fleshed out. The whole plot point with him felt kind of forced in my opinion, like he was thrown in because the book needed a villain that Adrian could dispatch. It didn’t detract from the romance though and was quite a minor part of the overall story.

Hero: 4/5. Adrian (27) is a professional boxer. He grew up in an abusive home and ultimately ended up killing his parents, which is when Jax’s (the hero from book 2) father found him, took him in, and taught him to channel his emotions into other endeavours like boxing. He meets Isla in a nightclub, and he instantly becomes obsessed with her. I was a little disappointed that he wasn’t quite as unhinged as the buildup in book 1 and 2 in this series suggested. Apart from having piranhas as pets and feeding them fingers, he didn’t seem any more unhinged than the heroes in the other books. That’s not to say I didn’t like him though. He was extremely possessive, protective, and obsessed with Isla, and I very much enjoyed his stalker behaviour like setting up cameras all over her apartment, and I loved how supportive he was of her, as well as how much he spoiled her. I also thought his quirks, like wearing crop tops and reading romance novels, were an interesting twist on the typical darker romance hero.
Heroine: 2/5. Isla (24) is an artist and a creates content around fashion and makeup. She hides herself behind a curated online persona, but with Adrian’s encouragement she starts to embrace her authentic self. While I appreciated that character arc, I struggled to connect with her. I didn’t dislike her, but she didn’t leave a strong impression either. I did however like that she accepted and even enjoyed the darker aspects of Adrian’s personality, like being watched by him for example.

POV: 1st person POV (Isla and Adrian).

Push/Pull:

Sadness: 1/5.

Explicit Sex and Spice Level: Yes. 3/5.

OW (Other Woman)/OM (Other Man) Drama: Not really.

Separation:

Cheating: No.

Closure/Ending: HEA.

Loved how fun this book was. Adrian was as expected - crazy, unhinged, and so obsessive! And Isla was the perfect match for him. I wasn't expecting how crazy she would be, lol.

Loved their chemistry, banter, and the spice 🥵.

There are mixed feelings because if the unholy trinity of friends has found love, I must say I fell in love with each and every one of their stories. So here we go.

Isla is a woman who for a long time hid her true self, hoping to find someone capable of awakening intense emotions within her, those that would make her forget the world. On the other hand, Jax was born between hate and pain, convinced he was too broken to deserve anything good until he met Isla, his angel on earth, the reason that gave him purpose and the center of his universe, for whom he would burn the entire world no matter the consequences.

The chemistry between them is captivating. Adrian sees in Isla the authentic woman who was always hidden, drives her to reveal herself, and restores her self-confidence. Their romance heats up at a fast pace where neither can be far from each other. But not everything is happy; a threat emerges and puts at risk what they have built so much. It's then that Adrian reveals his true nature, that ruthless man who doesn't hesitate to destroy those who dare to hurt his family. The ending gives us a happily ever after that is moving and touching, although I confess it was hard to close the book because I didn't want to say goodbye to these characters who had such a profound impact on me.

Thank you, Renée, for giving me the opportunity to read your ARCs and for giving us such beautiful stories. But Daddy Easton still needs to find his soulmate, just like his children did, and I'll eagerly await that story. As for the other surprise, I already suspect who it might be, and I really like the idea ❤️❤️❤️

P.S. My chicken heart did cry when I read the final lines 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Thank you to Renee Mo for letting me read this novel as an e-ARC!

The writing of this book is exactly why I initially fell in love with the Undisputed series when I first read Undisputed Champion. While the main characters' personal issues were put front and center in Undisputed Champion and Undisputed Chaos, they didn't feel overwhelming and like the only things the book revolved around like I felt they were in Undisputed Player. The author's portrayal of Adrian and Isla was wonderful; these characters felt three-dimensional and relatable. Adrian has been my favorite since Undisputed Champion and seeing him from his own POV was the best way to close out this three-book series. And Renee created a perfect counterpoint for him in Isla. Now the insta-love thing isn't my favorite trope and all three of these books have it, but here, I think it's cute and it works for them because it doesn't feel forced. Renee really goes out of her way to have her characters learn about each other through observation and fall in love that way rather than with other insta-love where it's actually insa-love and you don't get really any background into why the characters fall for each other.

Renee's MMCs are the kind of men real-life women would kill to have as partners (danger and all) and reading about them really just made me so happy. The devotion they show to their partners and the happiness their women bring them by just being who they are is heartwarming and something anyone wants their relationship to aspire to. Renee also writes her FMCs intelligently, strong and resilient, able to stand on their own two feet while still having partners support their hopes and dreams without being solely dependent on them.

But back to Adrian and Isla--they counterbalance each other wonderfully, dark and light in both, both full of love they haven't found the right person to give it to until they found each other. Their love story is precious, humorous, and a wonderful full-circle moment for this series. I'm so glad Renee saved them for last. This book was a great end to a great series and I'm sad that it's over now. Thank you, Renee, for letting me ARC read for you for all three of these books, it was a true honor. These books have made so many people happy and they're a joy to read. Five stars for the vibes for this one for me. Definitely pick up this series if you want to smile :)

Undisputed Chaos - Renée Mo

I fell in love with Adrian in the first book, I was excited to see all brothers find their happiness and Isla was just perfection for Adrian. I'm also a sucker for artistic characters, they hold a special place in my heart since besides reading, art is my second biggest hobby and passion. I also love the fact that Isla found her true friends and sisters in Estelle and Sierra. I will forever need more of the characters from this series.

4.5 ⭐️’s!
This was just an enjoyable as the first 2 books!

Adrian is definitely the most unpredictable and psychotic of the bunch, which I found charming, actually! You don’t know what you’re going to get with him.
Isla was definitely the most confident in herself and she had the best self-esteem you could get! She’s so sure of herself, and I never doubted she was hiding behind anything.

I loved how possessive Adrian was. His unhinged behavior, his diabolical thoughts, feelings, actions, it gave me tingles in places (hehe)! Isla was also so down bad as soon as Adrian started commenting on her social media. Like she accepted that he was going to be her shadow no matter what! I also loved that Adrian was obsessed with her curves. He made her feel beautiful and wanted each and every time… SWOON!
I also want to mention the banter in here? Definitely my fav of the entire series. Adrian knows how to deliver some good lines!

The men in these books are truly the definition of morally grey, obsessed and possessive. Like they have to have their women in sight at all times to feel okay. I love it! And even through their unhinged possessiveness, they never hinder their women’s ability to do what they want.

That’s all that most women want from their men!

With all that said, *POSSIBLE SPOILERS* you were warned!
I felt that the plot point of Noah being this “all of a sudden” bad guy was far-fetched. Adrian’s response wasn’t, but how did someone who had no role in this book become this bad guy? Unfortunately, I think it was just something kind of thrown in to give suspense and I didn’t get that, all I got was confusion and a little annoyance.

However I do still recommend this series, starting with the first book, Undisputed Champion!

Here are some tropes/TW’s in here.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS AGAIN*
- sweet FMC/psycho MMC
- obsessed, possessive, morally grey MMC
- instalust
- she’s a content creator and a painter
- he’s a world class, champion MMA fighter
- she has secret desires that he uncovers
- praise “good girl”
- dominant/obedient bedroom time
- she wears his “collar”
- kn!fe play (he sticks the handle in the front and the back)
- spanking scene
- touch her and (literally)
- graphic torture scenes
- mvrder scenes

If you’ve been following Renée Mo’s Undisputed series, you already know she doesn’t write soft, redeemable heroes. She writes men who are one bad day away from burning the world down, and then hands them the match when they fall in love.

Undisputed Chaos is the most unapologetically deranged installment yet, and I mean that as the highest possible compliment.

Adrian “Catalyst” whatever-his-last-name-is (he barely needs one) is the walking definition of a red flag factory. Tattoos, pet piranhas, a boxing career built on controlled explosions, and a moral compass that points directly toward “whatever keeps Isla breathing.”
He is chaotic, possessive, violent, and so obsessively in love that it loops right back around into terrifying. And somehow, Renée Mo makes you root for this man like he’s the hero of the story. Because in his world, he absolutely is.

Isla, our sunshine influencer heroine, should by all rights be too soft for this life. She posts vintage filtered coffee dates and thrift hauls while secretly craving the kind of intensity that would make most people run screaming.
The way she goes from “I kissed a scary hot stranger and bolted” to “I will burn with you” is deliciously believable. Her growth isn’t about becoming dark, it’s about admitting she was never as light as her Instagram made her seem.
That slow unraveling of her polished façade is chef’s kiss perfection. 🤌🏻

The chemistry between these two is feral. The spice is frequent, filthy, and perfectly aligned with their dynamic, Adrian is dominant in the way only a man who’s never been told “no” (and lived) can be, and Isla meets him with a mix of surrender and defiance that makes every scene crackle.
If you like your smut with a side of “he would actually kill for me and I find that weirdly romantic,” this book will ruin you in the best way. 😜

The side characters we’ve grown to love (or love-to-hate) from the earlier books are back and as unhinged as ever. The found family vibe among these morally bankrupt boxers is oddly wholesome, and the piranha tank remains undefeated as the series’ unofficial mascot.

Is it dark? Yes.
Is it healthy? Absolutely not.
Is it one of the most addictive mafia adjacent/sports romance hybrids I’ve read this year? Without question.

When the hero is threatening to feed people to fish while calling the heroine “my angel,” I’m not here for airtight three-act structure, I’m here for the chaos. 😝

Undisputed Chaos is Renée Mo at her most extra, and I devoured every unhinged page.

If you love possessive anti-heroes who are one pet name away from a felony, sunshine heroines with secret monster loving tendencies, and spice that leaves scorch marks, this is a one-sitting read.

Perfect for fans or anyone who looked at the “touch her and die” trope and said, “Yes, but make it literal.”

Trigger warnings: violence, stalking (by the hero), blood play mentions, dub-con vibes in some scenes, organized crime elements, and general “these people are not mentally stable” energy.
Check the author’s note if you need specifics.

Pre-order, one-click, whatever you have to do—just don’t miss Adrian and Isla. They’re gloriously messed up, and I’m already ready to reread.

OMG This book was EVERYTHING that I needed for Adrian's story! MMC Adrian - king of chaos, boxer, piranha daddy brother to Conner and Jax - my favorite of the three. He meets FMC Isla - influencer with a carefully curated front of softness hiding a woman looking to flourish. Adrian does all the great stalker things we expect from these boys within hours of meeting her. While he chases her, we see her leave behind to carefully curated image and fully become herself. It's hard not to say too much without spoilers - but he is down bad for our girl and will do ANYTHING to get her and protector her. I mean - these three professional boxers show up to training every day and each set up an iPad so they can watch their women... Anyway - I loved seeing Adrian get the HEA he so deserved. As a child he was abused and Jax's dad adopted him (along with Conner from book 1) and these three men have created a family of their own and is probably one of my favorite "found family" series. Like all good series should have - we also see the characters from the previous two books and I LOVED THAT! And while I was so happy for Adrian- Renee - YOU BROKE ME with that bonus epilogue with daddy Easton! Sobbing at my desk at work broken! Anyway, this series is fan-freaking-tastic if you like insta-love, possessive/stalker type book boyfriends who find the pieces of their heart that make them whole - then these books are for you!!

Undisputed Chaos follows Adrian and Isla’s whirlwind romance. Adrian has met his match and she’s a perfect fit, the light to his darkness. I love everything from the funny banter between characters, Adrian’s wild antics, the spicy spice, the new additions to this wonderful twisted family, and the blazing love Adrian has for Isla. The way things unfold between the two of them pulled on my heart strings while having me laughing throughout, like the iPad gang situation and especially that moment in the fun house 🤣

Isla is a sweet social media influencer and talented artist who feels like she’s missing something and desires a little thrill. Adrian is the catalyst who’s chaotic, hilarious, slightly unhinged, and successful boxer that’s longing to find love. Isla runs away after one bold and heated kiss with Adrian triggering him to hunt her down as his prey, his pretty angel and obsession. When she falls for him he’s ready to catch her and protect her at all costs…no one touches what’s his. Adrian also really loves to play with his knife 🫢🔥

“Look as us, three psychos with three goddesses”

I adore this series and love the final brother has found love…now it’s time for Daddy Easton 😈

Thank you so much Renée Mo for this ARC 🩵

Arc review

Devoured this in a day. I thought Connor was my favorite. Then I met Jax and he was my fav. But now I think crazy crop top wearing Adrian is my favorite.

He’s so over the top. And he goes all in with everything and anything he does with his full heart. He loves isla. And I fully expected her to actually be more afraid of him at first because of how she seemed so sweet. But I was pleasantly surprised to find out she matched his crazy.

Isla keeps him grounded, sane. Gives him something to focus on that’s not just the boys and their girls. He has something that is now solely his. Something his brothers also have. He gets to join them.

Adrian allows Isla to explore who she really is with no shame. He doesn’t care that she’s an influencer. He doesn’t care what she paints. He wants her happy. And he wants her to explore her own dark side. A dark side he shares and wants to see grow. He wants her to grow. To be confident in life like Star and Bee are. Because they will always have the others behind them no matter what they choose in life.

These three crazy men are so soft for their women. I love it. Can’t wait for more from this author.

Renée just blew my mind again! What an amazing read this was!

Undisputed Chaos is the third book of the Undisputed Series and it is just as amazing as the first two.

I cried, I laughed but mainly I loved these amazing characters I almost feel like they’re family.

I loved that these three brothers (each one got his book) got exactly what they needed, even if they did not expect it.

In this book we get to watch a shy FMC, Isla, surrounded by a superficial online and offline curated persona, ignoring her true inner self and true desires, until she is swept away by our MMC, Adrian, with his unpredictable, chaotic obsessed and protective behaviour who will make her blossom, while he gets everything he never though he would have.

I’m only sad to leave these characters, this amazing family... at least until the next book 😉

Please check your trigger warnings before diving in, but I highly recommend this book!

I feel very lucky to have been chosen to receive an advance review copy for free, I’m very thankful to the author Renée Mo for sharing this amazing story, and I am happily leaving this review voluntarily.

Adrian has been a fun psychotic character in the earlier 2 books. He fed his pet piranhas pieces of the bad guys. He likes to wear crop tops and outrageous outfits.

Isla is a "content creator" and artist. She posts makeup tutorials and outfits she put together. She paints canvases.

They meet at a club. He sees her dancing and falls in love at first sight. He is very intrigued but she leaves quickly and all he knows is her first name.

Luckily, he is a hacker and great with computers. He finds her and they start talking on the phone and trading messages. He sends her gifts. He likes to order food delivery for her.

Adrian also has some unusual sexual preferences. Everything is done with her consent. She likes his touches. He likes to call her a good girl and talk dirty to her.

I enjoyed the friendship between Adrian and his two professional boxer friends. The things they said to each other were hilarious.

I highly recommend all 3 books in this series. I received an early advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

“Undisputed Chaos” by Renee Mo
Series: The Undisputed Book 3 (interconnected series, can be read as a standalone)
Genre: Dark Romance
Rating: 5⭐️
Spice: 5🌶️
Darkness:5🩶
POV: Dual

Highlights:
💙Professional Boxer MMC
💙Curvy Influencer FMC
💙Stalker/Obsessed MMC
💙Touch Her and D!3 Vibes
💙BD$M Light

Thoughts:
I really loved this dark romance. Adrian was both unhinged and super sweet. I love how obsessed with Isla he became. There were lots of extremely spicy scenes, and I loved how she wrote the graphically intimate scenes. Both super hot and still loving. I also loved that he kept cutting her underwear off. He’s lucky he was a millionaire as those can get pricey. This novel was a bit tamer than the others in terms of her beau chasing down her enemies, but he was quick to defend her when it was needed. It doesn’t get super dark until the end, but I mean he had to feed his piranhas somehow.

🛑Please read all the author warnings as themes and events in this book could be triggering. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Renée Mo delivers a darkly intoxicating ride with Undisputed Chaos a story where love burns hotter than obsession and danger feels like desire. This third installment in the Undisputed Series isn’t just a romance; it’s an unflinching exploration of the chaotic beauty between two souls who find belonging in the unlikeliest of places.

Isla, the sunlit influencer hiding her shadows, and Adrian, the feral boxer known as “Catalyst,” are a perfect storm violence and vulnerability bound in one irresistible spiral. Mo’s prose is magnetic, filled with heat, heartache, and the kind of tenderness that only exists when two broken people recognize each other’s darkness. The writing pulses with intensity, alternating between raw emotion and sensual tension that keeps readers on edge until the very last line.

Undisputed Chaos doesn’t just push boundariesit rewrites them. With characters as flawed as they are unforgettable, Mo has crafted a modern dark romance that is as addictive as it is fearless.

Okay I thought Connor was my fave, but Adrian is my new fave. After having him in the past two books I didn’t think he would be like this, but omg there is possession and then there is Adrian possession. I got like so giddy for him, but there were also moments where I was laughing out loud. He is crazy in a delicious way and I’m obsessed with him.

Adrian and Isla meet in a nightclub one night. He spies her from across the room and it’s game over. They both feel this insane chemistry with one dance and a little make out session, but then she just disappears with her friends. You can bet your ass he hunts her down though. She’s an influencer and he’s a boxer. They start having this online exchange and they both have two sides to them. I can’t even readout describe how Adrian is except to say that he is perfection to me. The things he does…..swoon. Loved, loved, loved this book!

Thank you for the ARC! I'm lucky to have received both Undisputed Player and Undisputed Chaos.

The actual rating is 3.5✨ and 4🌶️.

I was excited for this book, and Adrian is exactly what I expected him to be: completely unhinged and chaotic. This is the kind of MMC I love to read about.

I think my only issue with this book (and it's totally mine) is the insta-love. While I love that there's no third-act breakup, my excitement drops significantly once they’re together. The plot matches the MMC’s personality (crazy, vengeful, obsessed, violent), but it could have been more developed to keep me on my toes.

Overall, I had a great time!

Tropes to look for:

- Unhinged MMC
- Boxer × Influencer
- Found family
- Stalking
- Knife play

Adrian!! My chaos king! I just love him so much! Completely unhinged but man does he love Isla! She's hidden her true self for so long. Her "friends" in the beginning were complete trash & I'm so happy Adrian helped her get away from them. The glass house maze was hilarious. One of my favorite things outside of their love story was them bringing up Adrian hitting Jax with his car lol it was funnier each time it was mentioned! I'm not typically one for buying physical copies of books because my kindle is my most prized possession but I am 100% buying a physical book for this one! I am obsessed!

‘The Catalyst’ probably has the hardest task of the 3 boys at keeping his rage & obsessive behaviour in check. But his enthusiasm for everything else takes hold especially when he catches sight of his Angel. Isla wants things that others wouldn’t expect from her & Adrian is definitely not what people expect!

When the last book in a series you love is released, it’s always exciting but also a little bittersweet because I just adore these obsessive boxing champs & their loves. Adrian & Isla’s story did not disappoint (he’s been my fave since book one 😍). The way these two characters come together, the understanding, acceptance & passion they share shines through. A fabulous trilogy that I will always recommend!! And the tease at the end!! Roll on Daddy Easton!!

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

Wow! What an amazing end to this trilogy of brothers finding their true loves!

Adrian is unhinged in the BEST way and Isla - there’s no way you can’t adore her.

Instantly obsessed/stalker MMC

FMC with dark desires she’s been trying hard to repress to impress the people around her.

Touch her and die

Found family

The only thing missing was more Toffee 😂 (I just love the way Adrian spoils his little prince!)

Fans of dark romance do not want to miss out on this trilogy!

A perfect end to the trio of champions! This book is the darkest and spiciest! Adrian is absolutely chaos in human form and I love it. I feel like I related most to Isla which made me love her so much! On the surface she’s perfect and proper and no one suspects anything. Truly she has deep dark desires that only Adrian can fulfill for her. I’m absolutely obsessed with them. I love a completely unhinged morally grey/black MMC and he fits! I can’t get enough of these three ugh I’m so sad it’s over!

This was by far the best in the series! The love was believable, the characters had depth and were detailed, we got to know them very well. I love Adrian and his psychosis. Isla was an endearing and adorable heroine.

My small criticisms are that there was not enough angst and buildup to Noah being a stalker. I wish we saw more danger and threat of that.

This was very well written and something I would reread!

I really enjoyed Adrian and isla's story. It was sweet, and choas, colour and madness. I felt the story with her ex come have been gone into more and shown the darker ways Adrian would deal with him, but it ended great with a teaser from daddy Easton. Can't wait for that one.

I had such high hopes. But the big drama felt completely forced because the “villain” was only spoken of in passing and literally causing no troubles to the fmc. And when he did come in and was the “villain”…it was so anticlimactic and his punishment felt excessive.
