I just finished this set. I reviewed each book separately on it's on page, but will copy them here.
Each book in this series rating goes up as the series goes on. They just keep getting better!!!

Book #1
Fighting for Flight
3.5 Stars

The things I really liked:
The prologue sucked me in right away.
I prefer books with Dual POV, and this one had it.
The sex scenes were HOT

Raven was super cute and lovable, but just hadn't found her real place in the world yet. She was still very young, just 20. Looking for anyone to love her, besides her boss and her BFF.

Jonah is a fighter and mega alpha male. He is a sweet mama’s boy but a total man whore. He never had sex with the same girl twice and had never been in love.

They both have issues from childhood, and learn to lean on each other.

Yes, it is one of those "InstaLove" books. And I usually can't stand the "I love you" within a week of meeting each other, and maybe that's why I couldn't get behind it completely or give it a higher rating.

A few spelling and grammar errors that could be fixed as well. Overall I liked it and will continue on with the series.

Book# 2
Fighting to Forgive
4.5 Stars

What I really Liked:
Dual POV
Shocking Twists
Two broken individual who are completely drawn to each other.
The sex scenes were great
Prefect HEA
Blake is my favorite in the series so far.

I have to start by saying, I love Blake. He is hilarious in the most inappropriate ways- and I love it. He had me laughing in book 1, but book 2 was even better. In real life we would be friends, because his dirty mind is hilarious.

About the first 1/3 to 1/2 of the book chronicles their snarky love/hate relationship. Little by little, their friendship grows into more and both of them have to overcome their pasts in order to move forward together. They finally open up about their pasts and things really start getting good. The intimacy between these two was the best. Blake was so very patient and sweet.

It kept my attention right to the very end. I stayed up way to late reading, because I couldn't put it down.

Book #3
Fighting for Forget
5 stars.
This story line is not for the faint of heart. Fighting to Forget deals with childhood molestation/rape and other forms of child abuse. But the real story is about the power of love and how that can heal you. It is a beautifully written book that once you start you can't put down because it hooks you, right from the beginning.

Rex and Mac/Gia's story was so emotional with what starts as childhood love and becomes so much more. We learn about their horrible childhoods (although they suffer very different forms of child abuse) and how they became the very broken adults they now are. They fight hard everyday to just be normal, going through so much pain dealing with their pasts. This book will tear your heart out. You will feel anger, betrayal, compassion, love, and finally hope. It's an extremely ugly story written beautifully.

I also loved all the song verses in the beginning of each chapter. It made me feel like I got to know Rex and Mac just a little bit better.

Each book in this series just gets better and better. I can't wait for the next one. (although I need to wait a day or two before starting so I can catch up on the sleep I missed while reading these)

Fighting for flight
Jonah and Raven were good together, they had so much chemistry. The story itself was so freaking awesome, it had just enough suspense, drama and laughter.

Fighting to forgive
I liked Blake in the previous book, I was excited to read his story. Layla was perfect for Blake, they worked so well together. My heart hurt for the both of them. So happy they got their HEA’s.

Fighting to forget
Hmm I’m not sure where to begin. My heart was hurting through most of this book.
Rex And Mac wow they went through so much stuff and still got their HEA!!

I don’t know how much sleep I lost from reading this bundle...but it was SO worth it! What an incredible series. Each book out did the previous and fought for favorite in my eyes.

I was so freaking hooked on the stories and so in love with each and every character! Why did I let these books just sit in my kindle library for so long?? Geesh! I could kick my self for not reading sooner and having deprived myself of these incredible stories all this time.

Fighting for Flight (Fighting, #1) J.B. Salsbury

5 star

The story has laughs, betrayal, secrets, kidnapping, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story.

This is Raven and Jonah’s story. Raven is a mechanic who Jonah hires to fix up his car. Jonah is a fighter. Jonah is a once and done guy. That is until he meets Raven. He knows once will never be enough. He needs to be focused on his title fight but Raven is distracting him without even trying. When Raven is threatened by her father Jonah takes steps to protect her. He will do whatever he has to in order to keep her safe. But will all the outside distractions keep him from protecting her? What will happen to them both if he can’t keep her safe?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

I recommend reading the below before this story
Fighting for Flight (Fighting, #1)

This is Layla and Blake’s story. Layla and Blake are broken in their own ways from the past. Blake thinks Layla is at the gym for a different reason then she is which leads to confusion and anger. Blake likes his woman with no baggage but Layla has a ton of baggage. With Blake having wicked thoughts of Layla all the time and Layla trying not depend on herself things seems to be crazy every time they are together. With Layla’s ex showing up just when everything is going go to ruin everything they both wonder if they ever had anything together. If they did can they get it back?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Fighting to Forget (Fighting, #3) J.B. Salsbury

5 star

The story has laughs, betrayal, secrets, pain, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story.

I recommend reading the below before this story
Fighting for Flight (Fighting, #1)
Fighting to Forgive (Fighting, #2)

This is Mac (Gia) and Rex’s story. Rex and Mac knew each other in the past but Rex does not know that. Mac wants to explain what she knows about the past and share the secrets she found out. But when the secrets start to come out Rex tells Mac he does not want to hear and to go away. Mac goes away only to fall into trouble. Can Rex forgive Mac and bring her back from the brink of hell? Or will he lose her forever?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Read Jonah and Raven’s story. A whole lot of fluff. No proper research done on a athlete’s story. Any professional athlete competing at that level in contention for the title would have a fleet of support staff that helps him/her. Coach, nutritionist, etc. To compete at that level, you need concentration, and training, hours on hours of training. This is an amateurish attempt at a UFL story. Outcome predictable, and plot predictable. The only saving grace is that the writing flows.

Insta-Love, virgin hot girl meets man-whore bad boy who kicks ass. Girl so good she even takes offense at being called the b-word. Idiotic BFF who won’t even give her friend 2 minutes to talk about her problems. Seriously, cliche on cliche. The mom who always loved her, but couldn’t show it because she’s afraid of the loss. Only 20 year old but a master at rebuilding cars, cause she had a great shop teacher who just so happened to own a garage she can work at after school.

I’m sorry, I sound stupider for finishing the book as I talk about it.

Can’t read the others...

Full of action/suspense/emotional/mma-fighter/humerous parts/mature rated

FIGHTING FOR FLIGHT-Raven & Jonah's story

Raven Morretti, daughter of a pimp and a mother who doesn't show affection. Jonah Slade, a UFL playboy, who has his heart set on his new mechanic. Raven soon turns 21 and all of a sudden her father shows her interest but it isn't what she thought. It was a price she was born with no choice of freedom. Will Jonah save her or will the stakes be too high to lose her before he even had her?

FIGHTING TO FORGIVE-Blake & Layla's story

This story is about emotional abuse, insecurities, love and betrayal. Web of lies are chased from their pasts but will they overcome or will they let it destroy.

FIGHTING TO FORGET-Rex & Mac's story

This one blew me away. This story touches on sexual abuse, OCD, and nightmares that is connected to both of the character's childhood past. This story was by far was the hardest to read out of the series.

FIGHTING THE FALL-Cameron & Eve's story

Finally, we have Eve's story, the girl that has the worst luck of men and the insecurities of never being loved. Eve decides to give up men all together until she meets her match, the CEO of the UFL but also 17 years older than her? Cameron has secrets of his past that destroyed his first family. Will Cam get past the age difference or will he finally deliver the final blow to shatter Eve's heart?

Each book was about a different character. Book one focused on Jonah and Raven. Book two was Blake and Layla's story. Book three was Rex and Gia's story.

All three books had the reference of a fighter without doing much fighting. They spent more time training. Two of the books focused on the player becoming instantly attracted to the new girl in town. Both books contained alpha male characters who wanted to protect their woman. Both books included a male character distraction to heighten the drama with conflict for the female character. Both books raced the relationship moving quickly to reach the HEA.
Each book included one UFL fight in the cage but the primary focus of fighting was in regards to life. Some fought to survive the crappy life they had and had to overcome many obstacles.

The first two stories were predictable with very little uniqueness to separate it from other books. I felt book two was a repeat of book one with some character quality changes.

I liked how the fighters came together as a tight family unit helping each other.
Parentless, raised by strangers, or conceived under horrible situations, they all found each other.

My favorite of the books in the series was Rex's story. Rex's was more emotional. Rex's relationship with Gia started as friendship instead of the insta connection that was book one and two. I preferred that storyline.

Wow just wow! First I am head over heels about MMA fighters/UFL stories.. Love the alpha males, hard fighters finding that one person who they can love and loved in return, love a great story, love hot sexy scenes all at a great price and these books go above and beyond my expectations. Love family, tragedy, drama, continued character's, sex, villains, hard story content ( last book nearly Brooke me) these three books are brilliant!!. They are so much more than you expect from synopsis and cover which grabs your attention totally. Buy this book set if you like books with depth, meaning, family, love, strong ,super strong female leads, family even tho no relation, hot sexy alphas with hot stories and hard subjects to equal the best books I've read in a long time. These books will make you hot melt your knickers hot, and mad as he** for the injustice other human beings are capable of doing to one another even children ( barely made it through some parts without wanting to beat the Shi** out of someone) they will make you laugh ,cry for some & cheer them on all while never wanting to let these characters go. Get ready for the ride of your life, every emotion will be used reading these books!

Loved the 3 books in this series, hot alpha fighters and steamy sex. Dominick Morretti is the devil reincarnate; does he care? No, his evilness weaves through their lives like a cancer and this is their story of secrets and lies, and an emotional roller-coaster for them all as they try to deal with the aftermath and right Morretti's wrongs.
Book1 Fighting for Flight - Raven and Jonah's journey. Jonah is another book boyfriend added to my list.
Book 2 - Blake and Layla's story - Fighting to Forgive - Blake is a total manwhore but I loved him. His sexual innuendo and banter made me giggle.
What's your name? "Well, fuck me.” Literally. “What’s a girl like you doing in a dirty mind like mine?”
No shit. Layla Moorehead? This babe’s hot as hell, and she’s named after sex and blowjobs. That’s a combination impossible to ignore.
Book 3 - Rex and Gia's story - Fight to Survive - a relationship started so young and as the secrets unfolded I could feel their pain. This was my favourite book in the set, dark, intense, emotional but so worth the read.
Looking forward to reading book 4 in the series - Fighting the Fall

I loved this series! It was a great read for me, going into it, I was unfortunately expecting a couple of books that were going to be 3 stories that were the same, except names, like what usually happens in series similar to this one, like when an author has a book for each of three brothers, and they each fall in love, and it's like reading the same thing each time, with very few, very small exceptions, but this was more than that, so much more. Each story was different, and unique, the characters all had different personalities, which was also very nice. My favorite was the 3rd book, but I enjoyed all 3. I am looking forward to reading more from this author!

I absolutely loved all three of the books in this series. Once I started I couldn't put them down. Each books' characters pulled you in from the beginning. The stories and characters were very well developed and it was so easy to get caught up in the story line. I can't wait to read the fourth book. I bought it today and am looking forward to reading many more books by J.B. Salsbury in the future.

There's a mixed batch. The writing is good, but the characters and situations are so ludicrous that makes it hard to swallow. The books are long - and there's drama for no real reason other than to cause conflict. Male characters are caricature like- interchangeable, same brain and behavior. Women, same thing. Series reminded me of Other series. They're all enjoyable to a point, then story always heads south to stretch the inevitable. I ended DNF the last one because of this reason.
