This is a good parenting book to start out with. I appreciated the straightforward techniques proposed and how clearly everything was laid out. At the same time, a lot of the tactics in this book are very simple and I'm not certain how well they'll work with complicated or difficult kids. Still, it's an excellent resource and I'm excited to share it with parents!

Reading this with others proved more beneficial than independently. Though the videos that are connected are cheesy, they are helpful in breaking up and understanding the material (in other words, they're worth seeking out).

This program is clear and concise, though I would appreciate some rearranging in the book (reasons behind behavior could be beneficial to understand before discipline etc.)

I'm going to skip rating this one since I read it for work, but a read is a read, and I'm not sure how much I'll be reading in September.
