After seven years, and five preceding collections, this penultimate volume brings us one step closer to the epic finale of the Mice Templar saga! The season has come for the "Legend of Karic" to restore the long and bitterly divided Templar Order! But is the heroic young mouse a savior...or an unwitting agent of destruction -- the prophesied Sword of Demons -- bent on vengeance and the annihilation of all living creatures?

There is an issue here which consists of only sequential two page spreads of an all out war involving mice, rats, cats, owls and bats. I have never seen a presentation of action like this in comics... Beautifully rendered. It conveys the progress of the battle, geography of its key players and still manages to retain the character personalities making for what I thought was a truly unique sequencial art experience. Bravo guys! This really stands out!

While reading the mice Templar I’ve noticed the exceptionally well crafted characters. This part is where most of them come together for the penultimate battle. True to the epics of old the characters are layered and often morally gray. Their surprising actions either hero or villain are amazingly entertaining.
