Empty Your Bottle

Truth or dare? Which one scares you more? As a child, dare was being vulnerable to others' idea of funny. As children, we believed we were invincible and immune to our environment. As an adult, the truth is scary. Adults learn quickly to hide the truth in their lives, pretend to hide the "dares" of childhood, and believe there are no problems in life. Satan's biggest weapon to destroy our lives is to believe the lie. God wants us to reveal the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and the truth will set us free (John 8:32). Let's get to the truth! We all have problems, struggles, fears, addictions, and human nature sins. As problems occur daily, we work it out with God through prayer and Bible reading. If necessary, we share with others. James 5:16 commands us to "confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." We are not made to suffer alone or to keep our troubles bottled up! Our human bodies are incapable of handling bottled-up, negative emotional garbage. If we don't speak, write, or act it out, the body will deteriorate and become diseased. You can be healthy, happy, and holy the way God intended you to be today!
