After many years trudging through the social awkwardness of high school and the whirl wind of college romances I finally landed in the Seattle area writing about the hell, horror, and don't forget the hot romance of youth. I love all things outdoors and can be found hiking, kayaking, mountain biking or doing anything that will work up a good sweat *winks*. I love to interact with my readers and meet them at signings.
This book was heartbreakingly good! My heart literally broke for Ren and Quill. I can't imagine being in a situation like that. The emotions were well written and did the issue justice. There were times I wanted to smack Jolin though. I'm glad that there was a lot of growth in him. The grammatical errors took a bit away from the story that's why I took one star off but it would have been worth 5 stars if it had been cleaned up a bit.
I'd give it a 3 for the story, but a 1 for the editing. Every single page had at minimum one major typo, whether it was a spacing issue, an incorrect spelling, or even the wrong word. This made it incredibly hard to read, and as much as I want to read Tranquility (Book 2), I'm not sure if I'll be able to if it's anything like this was.
This is as real and gritty as you can get. A love story from the wrong side of the town story where happy endings is a joke. Very intense and entertaining read ! I love the fact it is not like ever other love story.
