Sienna Judd is a small town, contemporary romance author who lives for all the spice and book boyfriends who are book husband material.
Sienna is an American girl married to her Prince Charming. She lives with her husband, three children, pony, dogs, guinea pigs and countless other animals on a small farm in England. She thinks kitchens are for dancing, is everybody's hype girl and might be known for talking too loudly.
Like every respectable woman she also loves drinking champagne and eating half of every chocolate in a truffles box.
Went in preparing to read a romance, but the suspense drew me in immediately. Once I started, I could not put this book down! May or may not have finished the second half in one sitting.
The Mendez brothers never disappoint! I think this is my first enemies to lovers fake dating and let me tell you I’m here for it. The way these two wanted each other was so good, both willing to burn the world down to save the other.
Rio has a dark past with Black Ridge, but he got out, he’s been living good helping his brothers run Ghost Eye doing good. But Black Ridge has a hold over him, and he never knows when its going to be called into play.
Delilah is the daughter of Ledger the head of Iron Covenant the rivals of Black Ridge. She wants out, she has seen all the evil her father is dealing with and she needs to get out before her impending marriage to Luther the head of Black Ridge, a marriage that is set to end a war between rival gangs. She’s armed with information and a plan to bring them all down. But to make it happen she needs help and there is only one man that can help her.
I devoured this book so quickly. With rival gangs out to get both Rio and Delilah I felt like anything could happen. Judd masters the balance of danger and suspense with sweet loving moments. Getting to see two people who have been given a multitude of reasons to not trust people learn to trust each other and depend on each other was so enjoyable. The Mendez family always adds so much fun the stories, between Louis being the charmer that he is and Tina there are so many opportunities to see our rough strong leading characters really are just big ol softies.
This book had me completely hooked from the very first chapter. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. The perfect blend of suspense, danger, mystery, and slow-building romance kept me on edge the entire time. Every clue, every twist, and every step closer to finding the missing women had me desperate to know what would happen next.
Rio and Delilah's journey was packed with tension, emotional depth, and undeniable chemistry. What starts as a reluctant partnership quickly evolves into something far more complicated as secrets unravel and feelings grow stronger. Their connection felt authentic, and watching their walls come down was one of my favorite parts of the story.
As my very first mafia romance, this book exceeded all expectations. The world-building was immersive, the stakes felt incredibly real, and the suspense never let up. You can truly see the care and effort the author poured into every detail. If you love high-stakes romance, fake dating, protective heroes, gripping suspense, and emotional twists, this is one you won't want to miss.

He agrees and their path starts but the clos er they get to finding the women the more dangerous it becomes and soon Rio himself may fall along with it. Will he and his brothers be able to handle the fallout and keep everyone safe. This story grabs you and doesn't let go until the last page.

Devoted Keeper was a fun and entertaining read that perfectly captured my favorite tropes: enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and found family. It fit seamlessly into the Echo Valley series ending. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
