War and Dungeons: Elsewhere Book 2

Rate this book
War is only the beginning.

Duke never set out to be a king—only to protect his own. Leading the Twice Blessed Legion, he marches to war against the undead tyrant Chopie, the Lich King. Battles rage, and betrayals lurk in the shadows, but through sheer will and the power he has gathered, Duke emerges victorious. His reward? A throne he never sought. The price? Incalculable.
But ruling is nothing like war.

As the newly crowned king, Duke finds himself ruling over a depleted nation. How do you rebuild from ruins? Duke turns to his dungeons for the resources to rebuild his kingdom and sharpen his warriors. But every delve reveals more than treasure. Beneath the stone and blood, a far greater game is being played. The Twin Entities watch from beyond, but they are not alone on the Cosmic Stage. What price will the Overmind exact to break Duke free of their control?

War made him a king. Dungeons made him a legend. But who will he be when the Entities are done with him?

Aurelia and Duke give me life! Also, potential Dragon affinity for Duke, with the heart gem and additional dragon parts, has me excited! Dragons WOO!

War and Dungeons

Duke and his friends have stopped the invasion, but King Chopie is still a threat. Not only to Duke, but to everyone living in the area. Duke must lean into the main thing that gives him strength, his dungeon. Using this, he can change the entire world.

This was a really fun Isekai litrpg! It has a book 1 recap , and that is always appreciated. The dungeon mechanics are really interesting. It was great that it had such a spotlight in this book and it looks like even more to come. James Cheatham does a great job narrating as always!

Had to stop

The notion that excellent skill and prosperity is a problem and requires excessive taxes to equal out.
Never bought into it. Never will.
Raising minimum wages however... that forces people who've spent a lifetime increasing their skill and wages to suddenly become paupers.

Awesome Stuff

This story of an ace fighter pilot going to a magical world right before his demise was an absolutely fantastic read. The end of this book he was going to square off against bounty hunters who may get a pristine solar system to kill him.
