Cute paranormal omegaverse story about an omega whose designation doesn't present until she dies in an unfortunate accident. I was immediately curious as to how her mates were going to solve the issue of her not being alive, but needing her around. The relationships of the pack are preexisting and references moments that happened before the story takes place. Unfortunately, I didn't quite like that, as I felt that the characters romantic development felt rushed and slightly superficial for a group of people that was supposedly already emotionally close prior to discovery of the mate bond.
I did appreciate the twist on the omegaverse trope of otherworldly beings getting stuck in a universe where there are designations and how this affects them.

Esme has been murdered by her selfish sister and now she's stuck in limbo. Lucky for her Vesper, Duske and Milo aren't ready to let her go, and draw on their abilities to help their mate come back, and get vengeance on her cruel sister.
There are unexpected heats, demon appendages, and fun ghosty antics.
It's short, sweet, spooky and spicy, and a fun twist on omegaverse mate bonds. The final pov was the cherry on top and the perfect ending.

I’m p!ssed. Not just because Liora, my backst4bbing sister, st4bbed me in the back. Literally. Well, it was more—sleeping powder in my donut which caused me to fall down the stairs and bre4k my neck—kind of st4bbing. Like, what a way to go. Bullsh!t, really.
However, I’m not even mad about that.
I’m mad about the coffee.
That perfect cup of coffee sitting on the counter, mocking me with its cold, separated layers. A week ago, I was buzzing with excitement to try the vanilla pumpkin creamer Milo bought just for me. The f*cker is obsessed with everything pumpkin and just had to grab an entire case from the local grocery store once they started stocking it. I don’t care what goes in my coffee as long as it’s sweet. With his infectious enthusiasm, I was just as excited to try it.
Especially when he promised that it would be my new obsession.
But I never got to that part of my morning.
So, now it’s all spoiled, the creamer probably curdled into some gross, chunky mess. I drift over to the counter, my ghostly form flickering through the dimly lit kitchen, and stare down at the mug. It’s still there, untouched from that morning, like a cruel reminder of everything I’ve lost.
I wave my hand and try to touch it anyway, praying for even a whiff of that rich bean scent to strangle my senses. My fingers pass right through, not even a whisper of resistance. F*cking hell.
Of course, I couldn’t at least get some enjoyment from being a ghost in my own house. I never had my first heat. Hell, I didn’t even have a scent before I was rudely k!lled. And now, I can’t even play with things in the afterlife? I got ch3ated.
My shoulders sag as I twist around to look at what’s left behind. The house is mostly clean now, the spot at the base of the stairs where I d!ed mopped spotless. No blo0d, no trace of the struggle, just sparkly hardwood.

this was such the perfect spooky Halloween omegaverse read. not too long and just the right amount of spice to go along with it. and the fact it’s omegaverse and paranormal made it such the perfect mix. you’ve got a human turned.. ghost(ish) and their demon and Grim Reaper/Death mates. with a little bit of revenge as well.
the story is a mix of friends to lovers but also an already established sexual relationship between Esme and Vesper. and an already established MM relationship between Vesper and Milo. all three males have different personalities. Vesper the chaos demon who loves to cause chaos, Milo the happy golden retriever, and Duske aka Death who is the strong dominant one of the group.

This one was a complete different take on the omegaverse and that’s why I enjoyed it so much. Esme’s stuck-between-worlds situation could’ve felt heavy but instead it pulled me in deeper.
I loved how Vesper, Duske and Milo just refused to let her drift away. There’s something so stubbornly tender about the way they fought for her, like “nope, not losing her today.” It made me root for them even harder. And the vibe? Chaotic in the most entertaining way.
Strange little supernatural moments, unexpected body weirdness, ghost mischief all blends into this quirky mix that somehow works. It’s a quick read, super fun and it absolutely leans into the omega flavor without being cliche.
The final POV had me smiling from ear to ear. It wrapped things up with the precise kind of warmth and humor I was looking for.

I really enjoyed this book! It was everything I needed and more for the spooky season! I loved the demons mixed in with the omegaverse. I liked how fun and quick of a read this was!
I liked how the characters were relatable but also had depth to them. Even though the novella was short it was so good!

The story was a lot more cutesy than the cover suggests but I enjoyed it. The characters are very lovable (except the sister) and you’re rooting for them the whole time.

Omg! This was an amazing paranormal omegaverse!!! Definitely one of my favorites by far! My heart poured for Esme after what her HORRIBLE sister does to her!!!! But Vesper, Milo, and Duske…… WOW!!! Talk about hotness!!! This is the type of book I will have to read again during Halloween time.

This was a quick fun read. Poor Esme finds herself as a ghost unable to interact with her surroundings, until her best friend who just so happens to be demons (one of them Death, himself). Now she finds herself going into heat and her best friends/mates find themselves ready to step in. First, to solve the mystery of her death. Sprinkle in some comedic relief, spicy heat scenes, non traditional alpha/omega knotting and you have a recipe for success!

This was such a fun omegaverse with a bit of a paranormal twist. Esme realizes she’s dead, and she’s extra ticked off because her sister was the one that caused her demise. Things take a bit of a turn because her three best friends (all demons), Vesper, Milo, and Duske, can sense her presence. She also seems to be coming into her omega designation. Lots of yummy spice and a lovely bit of revenge on Esme’s sister. I loved it and how they found a way to be together, happily ever after!

So we have our fmc, Esme. She is kind, caring, and just happy being herself. Unfortunately, poor Esme fell and never had the chance to experience more with the ones she loved.
Our mmc's are Milo, Duske, and Vesper. These 3 men are all so different, but they are all so amazing. Milo is the sweetest beta and is obsessed with anything pumpkin. Vesper thrives in chaos, but he cares deeply for those important to him and Duske. He is so broody but so protective of Vesper, Milo, and Esme especially.
The plot was so entertaining. After Esme fell, she is kind of stuck in limbo and is pretty upset with not only the loss of her life and someone who shouldn't have done that to her but also that she can never see her loved ones again. While Duske, Vesper, and Milo are grieving the loss of Esme, something strange happens. Esme's men have kept a few secrets from Esme, and what happens next is something that no one would have predicted, especially not Esme.
This is such a good story, I highly recommend.

Despite the depressing circumstances of Esme being dead, this was quite a sweet and cute standalone omegaverse novella! It is perfect for the season with the theme of Esme's men and the whole ghost and the cute theme of pumpkin running through. The spicy scenes were great, the pacing felt right and this is an easy read in one go. I did like Esme's men; Milo is definitely my favourite with his fun, lighthearted nature. Duske was definitely the protective, dangerous type but still showed his sweet side to Esme and finally Vesper was sweet to both Milo and Esme as both his lovers, very protective and caring for both.
Can easily recommend this as a cute halloween novella, perfect for the season and a lovely little read!

I loved that this took a different spin on omegaverse. I’m a sucker for demon mmcs. What can I say I’m a sucker for tail action I love it 😂😂 All 3 MMCS were distinctly different characters sometimes when you have reverse harems the men all blur together. Thankfully that wasn’t the case here. If I have to play favorites though it would be Milo. He had me cracking up with his one liners. The Fmc also wasn’t cringe. She had a backbone and stood up to her sister but also was funny and accepting of the MMCs. One pet peeve of mine though in omegaverses is the spice is probably 80% lead by heat or preheat. Sometimes I just want it to be just 2 people wanting each other. Other than that I truly enjoyed this read.

This book had me intrigued from the beginning. I thought it was such an interesting take on omegaverse. I would read this story again if she published it with the whole story of how they met and their relationships developing before she died. I would also love to see more about her relationship with her sister and more of the demons afterwards. I thought the story was great and nothing was wrong with it but I want more!! It was so good!

This was my first Omegaverse book so I didn't know what to expect. I enjoyed the story line and felt like it included a little of mystery too. I am excited that there is already another book in the works following one of the other characters. I can't wait to see who makes an appearance from this book.

Esme, Duske, Vesper & Milo they get their happy ending but first Esme is killed by her sister. The details come out about as to why. Esme finds out what her mates truly are and her three mates do whatever it takes to keep her.

Short but actually quite sweet. An omegaverse that includes demons, and I loved this book's take on it. I liked Milo; his obsession with pumpkins was highly amusing. Vesper and Duske are completely adorable despite being demons.
