Insightful analysation into how the LGBT community is portrayed in the media. This was only my third book on a similar subject matter. This book is very indepth and particular to the portrayal of media whereas the other books, I have read offer more personal perspectives. It became paramount in the first chapter, that it was throughly researched and thoughout but gave particular emphasis on student partipcation although I didn't engage in the questions, I could have quite easily have. Was interesting to see the breadth of media subject matter on LGBT. Having not watched any of these programmes previously, I find myself compelled to possibly watching them in the future.
