She includes a lot of information and tips. Recipes look great, but photos are all black and white. In a cookbook?!

Tried several recipes, including Banana Cake and orange rice. The Orange rice would be good as one with many other salads, to have a small amount, it's a little overpowering. My Banana cake was raw in the middle after testing with toothpick and cooking the right amount of time. Instead of a spring form pan, that you cut cake in half to make 2 rounds after it's cooked, I would use 2 round cake pans. The taste was good.

An inspiration every year when the weather turns warmer and you want to take advantage of nature's bounty.

It would be hard to find a "flop" recipe in this. Anna Pump is an inspiration to Ina Garten (also someone with extremely dependable recipes).

If you want to make an outdoor meal, a picnic, or simply a family dinner, check this out for ideas.

LOVE the chicken and basil cream! This book is worth that recipe alone. I wish it had pictures, somehow that motivates me.

This book was full of fun summer recipes utilizing the great produce available during the summer months! Some were a bit heavy, but I got lots of good ideas for salads, soups and desserts.
