The Memory Ward: Some memories are too terrifying to forget.

Rate this book
The Memory Ward is a haunting psychological thriller that delves deep into the shattered mind of Dr. Nora Bennett—a woman who came to heal but ended up confronting the ghosts of her forgotten past.

When Dr. Bennett arrives at the isolated Blackwell Asylum on the coast of Maine, she is assigned to a mysterious patient known only as John Doe. What begins as standard therapy quickly descends into a chilling unraveling of reality. Through disturbing dreams, buried memories, and eerie coincidences, Nora begins to question who she really is—and whether she’s the doctor, or the patient.

But the more she delved, the more she felt like she was unraveling something within herself.

Set along the coastline of Maine.

Dr. Nora Bennett, 32, is the new psychiatrist at the Blackwell Asylum.

John Doe is in his late twenties. An amnesia patient in The Memory Ward.

The dreams. Lily, the little girl.

Different techniques, including hypnotherapy.

The music box. Familiarity.

Difficult truths…

Solid ending. Could have gone for something more simple, but this works.

“Don’t you remember, Nora? Don’t you remember who you are?”
