The kids of Room 207 arrive at their class on the first day of school to find it has suffered “a most grievous accident” and is covered in mysterious slime. Their teacher leads her charges to the original one-room schoolhouse that stands on the property. But the schoolroom isn’t empty — it is inhabited by a spooky guest. Marnelle Tokio was born in St. Catharine’s, Ontario, on a frostbitten New Year’s Day, but grew up in Australia, Bahamas, Florida, and California. She has had so many jobs her resume is alphabetical from Apprentice Thoroughbred Jockey to X-ray Technician. While waiting to hear about a zookeeper position she decided to be a writer.

More Than You Can Chew was her first book, and now she is an international award-winning author. Marnelle can often be found playing with her daughter, dog, and husband at their home in Toronto.

I didn't like this book because it is very unrealistic. The teacher and a pig apparently fly into slime and disappear. How real is that! Not what i would want to read but something little kids can read to en chance their creativity.
