Simply STUNNING and BEAUTIFUL! Jane Henry’s second book in your Montavio Brotherhood is REMARKABLE. Superb storytelling. I couldn’t get enough of Adriano and Quinn, they are incredible.

Getting lost in this deeply entertaining and enticing mafia romance was electrifying and delicious. The perfect chocolate delight filled with naughtiness, kinkiness and a touch of danger.

I adored Adriano and Quinn’s banter and their strong connection to one another.
Quinn’s personality is so engaging, funny and endearing. The words that come out her mouth are so amusing, kooky and sassy.
Their sexual proclivities make for the most interesting and steamiest scenes. The pages seem to burn with the intensity and it’s so freaking HOT!!

Adriano is the book boyfriend we all want and love:
Dominant
Possessive
Ruthless

Adoration will fuel Adriano’s need to protect, love and worship Quinn. For Quinn, Adriano is the only person who will quench her need to escape.
I highly recommend this book if you like dramatic, suspense and passionate romances.

Congratulations Jane this book is BREATHTAKING.

Absolutely enjoyed this book! I love Quinn. She is tough, loyal, and a wonderful character to root for. Adriano is your dominant and protective hero but I love that he has a sweeter side with Quinn and his family. I love seeing all of these characters and will definitely be continuing the series.

The situation Quinn finds herself in could be considered a scary one to some people, seeing what she saw Adriano do shows he’s dangerous, but does this woman let that affect the way she is with him? Not bloody likely.

"𝙐𝙢, 𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙢𝙚?"

I adore an enemies to lovers like this, she’ll push his buttons and use her words as her weapons, and he’ll relish the challenge of making this wild woman submit him. Add in that marriage of convenience and I’m here to savour every moment between the a sadist mafia brother and his sassy exhibitionist wife.

“𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚.”

Then the cherry on top of a marriage situation ‘promise not to fall in love with me’ AND both of them being against commitment. Sounds like a delicious recipe for a treat if you ask me 😉♥️

"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪? 𝙊𝙝, 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤, 𝙨𝙤 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙝."

This is the second book in the brotherhood series, I haven’t read the first one but each can be read as a stand-alone.

"𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚,"

Today I want to talk about this new dark romance with the following tropes: forbidden love, billionaire, mafia romance, forced marriage and anti-hero.

«𝑰 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖.»

As you may have noticed, lately I've been slightly obsessed with this genre, but I'm discovering many books that can entertain me and get me involved in the story like few others. And this is no less, although the scenario is slightly different, given that the reference family in this book is Italian, and therefore closer to me.

Here, the FMC - Quinn - finds herself witnessing a scene that her eyes should not have seen at all, and this puts her in danger. But not from those that would seem more obvious, and this is how she will have to marry a man, our Adriano, in order not to have repercussions on herself and on him.

I adored how Adriano took her role seriously right away, with the will to protect Quinn at all costs, even if initially certainly his feelings weren't developed yet and despite her “salt and pepper” temper. Their relationship is so crackling that you can't help but laugh at their bickering but also melt like snow in the sun when the two begin to show some sign of love in sight.

Certainly, there is no shortage of problems between them or between them and their enemies, but Adriano is a capable man and knows what he's doing, so he won't let himself be distracted or give up at anything. But Quinn also knows what's she is capable of, and in a certain sense she will help Adriano in the enterprise, thanks also to her strong nerves and her willpower.

At the end of it all, they will realize that even everything that started out of duty and under a bad star, apparently not everything has a silver lining, and they will discover that from this situation they have gained something much more important.

Adoration is the second book in the Montavio Series
Carefree, no commitment Quinn's life takes a dramatic turn when she witnesses Adriano ending the life of a man. She is asked to become Adriano's wife to ensure both her safety and to avoid being able to testify against him.
They agree this arrangement will last for six months and they will not fall in love. As the two face both threats from enemies and deal with traumas from their youth, they find a connection much deeper than they could have anticipated.
Adriano was intense, damaged, and passionate. TBH, I wasn't always a fan of Quinn, but even when I wasn't, I loved her and Adriano together. This is the mastery of Jane Henry's writing. She matches the characters so beautifully. The connection and chemistry between these two characters were incredible. The supporting characters are ones most of us know and already love. Although the action and suspense are a bit milder in this book, it was still there, and you know there is more to come with regard to the cartel. Overall, the book is great.
I believe I have read all of Jane Henry's books, and every single one is outstanding. I look forward to more in this series.

This ARC was provided by the author, and this is my honest review.

It is hard to think of a mafia story as sweet, but these guys in the Montavio Brotherhood are kind of the sweetest for their ladies! Adriano was possessive, obsessed, and had all the touch her and ☠️ vibes, but he gave Quinn exactly what she needed.

This book had more D/s play in it, but not so much that it was overwhelming. The Mafia aspect wasn't super predominant either, there were a few violent scenes, and some that were off page, but the MMC definitely had those mafia vibes.

Overall, I enjoyed the 2nd book in the series and can't wait for the next to come out!

Adriano has lots of secrets.

Quinn never really stays in one place always running when she starts feeling too much. When she witnesses Adriano kill someone she is forced to marry him in order to appease Adriano's boss who happens to be the head of the Montavio Mafia. There are things that Quinn doesn't know and Adriano is just trying to keep her safe. This is a great read and I loved their story.

I received this book for an honest review and there were many times that I was about to DNF it and I dont every stop reading a book. The way the FMC was seemed a bit childish to me at times with how she spoke to the MMC. How it became an arranged marriage is iffy at best, the enemies to lovers thing lasts about two chapters. I liked the idea of the story but fell short.

This was my first book by Jane Henry!

3.5 ⭐️
3 🌶️
Tropes: enemy to lover, mafia, alpha male, BDSM, marriage of convenience

Even though the FMC - Quinn has a smart mouth and at times came off childish, there was a funny banter between her and the MMC - Adriano.

Quinn has a dark past and Adriano is member of the mafia both of the dealing with trauma from their past.

I typically LOVE mafia men and books, just felt like this book/plot was sped up a little. However overly it was good book but could’ve went deeper with the characters background a little more. And slowed down with the spice scenes.

Thanks for giving me a chance with the ARC!

Such an excellent book! This story is another chapter in the Rossi saga but can be read as a standalone. This is way better when you know who all the characters are and where they are according to the La Costra Nostra that they are. Quinn is a Snarky, Sassy masochist who loves the club that’s kinky and fun. Adriano is a tall, sculpted sadist who’s a Lieutenant under his Don Sergio. He is one dangerously hot and brooding man. The story between these two is definitely not a cute meet! I adore this Story with all of its twists and turns and bodyguards. The characters fill your mind fully formed and steamy as ever! I always look forward to Mrs. Henry’s books. Because at the end of every book you realize it’s about the love of the people that you choose for family is just as important as the love story that starts each couple on their journeys!

I reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

You are going to fall hard for Quinn and Adriano! Their story is sexy, sinfully delicious, and the perfect mafia/arranged marriage romance. Quinn witnessed something she shouldn't have and now she has to marry Adriano to keep her safe. She doesn't fully understand the danger she is in and she plans to make as much of a stink with this arrangement as she can but sometimes nothing goes to plan. She has always seen Adriano around the club and has always found him incredibly attractive and very sexy but she never thought a forced marriage would be her only choose. But Eden (her bestie and Sergio's wife) that it for the best. Quinn is missing some of the pieces of the story and once she learns what is really going on her entire game change changes and she is so fortunate to have someone like Adriano on her side. She never knew love could be this all consuming. She is beginning to see that maybe marriage isn't going to be that bad. Hey, they both love and want sex a lot so that's a win-win for them both as long as she keeps her heart out of it!

This story is going to consume you from the very beginning. The secrets and lies woven within the plot is quite surprising and the outcomes are exciting. You will thoroughly enjoy their trip down the aisle and everything that happens after. This is an all consuming novel and I can't wait to see what comes next from Jane Henry. Happy Reading!!

This was my first Jane Henry book. This book had some funny banter, alpha mafia man, & a carefree FMC. Not a lot stuck out to me though. They were in a s3x club most of the time, but I feel like most of the smut scenes were either skipped over or sped through… I loved the arranged marriage & of course mafia men are some of my favs I just felt like it was a little rushed & a ton of random characters it was hard to remember who was who 😅 Thank you for giving me the chance to have the ARC!

This is the second book in the Montavio Brothers series. It is a sequal to the Rossi family series as the Montavios are relatives. Some characters appear in both. Like the Rossi family series, each book in this series is a standalon so can be read in any order. However, reading them in order will help with the time line of events in all books.

In this story we have Adriano, the MMC, an enforcer for the Montavio family. Taken in by Nonna as a young homeless boy, he is loyal to the Montavio's to a fault. Quinn, the MFC is BF to Eden, wife of Sergio Montavio, head of the Montavio family. Quinn's past has kept her on the move, never getting close to anyone. But for the first time she's found a home and friends at Bella Notte, the Montavio's membership only $ex club. Quinn has kinks and though she could never afford membership, she is always a guest and can play because of her friendship with Eden.

When Quinn accidentally witnesses Adriano kill someone, she flees to her friends home hoping Eden will help her get away. But when she arrives, Adriano is already there and Sergio is already aware of what happened. Sergio's solution is to have Quinn and Adriano wed so she can't testify against him. What is supposed to be a temporary arrangement until both Adriano and Quinns safety can be assured, becomes so much more. Because unbeknownst to Quinn, who enjoys being blindfolded in sessions with unknown Doms, she's had sessions with Adriano who knows her well and uses that knowledge. And she begins to see a different side to Adriano.

There are enough twists and turns in this story to keep you on your toes and turning pages. Another hit for Jane Henry. Love her stories. 5 stars for this one.

Title: Adoration
Author: Jane Henry
Series: Montavio Brotherhood Book 2
MC: Quinn (FMC), Adriano (MMC)
Setting: Boston area, present day
Genre: Mafia Romance
Tropes: enemies-to-lovers, forced mariage, BDSM, found family
Triggers: traumatic pasts for MCs, assault, bullying, abuse, homelessness
Epilogue: Yes

Synopsis: Quinn is a frequent attendee at the Montavio sex club. She witnesses a murder committed by Adriano. They are forced to marry for both their protections. Both Quinn and Adriano come from tragic pasts. They don’t do love or commitment, and promise not to fall for each other. The plan is stay married for six months, until the trouble from their rival (a cartel) is gone. Due to forced proximity, similar tragic pasts, and well paired kinks (Quinn-masochist, Adriano-Sadist/Dom), Quinn and Adriano develop a deep friendship and feelings for each other. Quinn is eventually threatened by enemies, which leads her to believe Adriano has been manipulating her the entirety of their relationship. Instead, Adriano has been protecting (bc of his obsession and love) her through multiple acts, specifically killing her stalker, which was the murder she witnessed earlier. They both accept their feelings and love for one another and choose to remain married.

Thoughts: Another enjoyable read by Jane Henry! Quinn’s character grew on me from the first book, and I was surprised by how much I ended up liking Adriano. The tension between the characters keeps the pages turning. It was gratifying to see Quinn and Adriano fight, yet eventually accept their feelings in order to heal and move on together. And of course the mafia aspect and suspense is always a plus.

The second book in this collection is just as compelling as the first. But - if D/s, Over-the-top control and "punishment" kinks are not for you... please skip this.
(This read is not for you.)

We met Quinn in Eden and Sergio's story (Devotion). Quinn's smart mouth and brat behavior plays well at the club, but when she sees something she shouldn't, she finds herself tied to Adriano - an accomplished killer.
He is possessive, dominant, and leaves Quinn no space to escape his control, not that she really wants to!

It was really interesting to see the tie-ins to Eden's story, and how the suspenseful dangers spin around this couple. The family loyalty, Mafia lifestyle and steamy scenes made these pages turn themselves!

This could be a stand-alone (I guess), but much better to already know the beginning of the storyline. IMO.

I can't wait to see how things progress, and what new challenge the Montavio family will face in the next story.

Adoration by Jane Henry, is the second book in the Montavio Brotherhood Series, Quinn is a woman who frequents the Bella Notte club, owned by the Montavios, one night when she is in the club wandering around where she shouldn't and ends up being a witness from something she shouldn't have seen, she runs away and thinks she has managed to escape and goes looking for her best friend to help her, only she ends up in the den of the wolf since the man she was running from is the best friend of Sergio Montavio, husband of her best friend, and one of the Mafia bosses led by Sergio. Adriano Bruno is a dangerous, ruthless, dominant and possessive man, he knows who Quinn is, he has seen her in the club more than he is willing to admit, and when she ends up witnessing what he did, his Don gives him the solution, get married so she can't testify against him, the agreement is supposed to be for a short time, and feelings are also not supposed to arise, but when they get a friend in each other, and a similar spirit, don´t get me started as they shared the same tastes, and what they needed so badly without knowing it, it will be inevitable that they develop feelings for each other.
This story is my first from this author and let me tell you that I loved it, very well developed characters and world, the tension between the main characters, the fights, the passion and love, everything is a touch of suspense that makes this story one you don't want to miss. Highly recommended!
*Thanks to Jane Henry and Valentine PR & Literary Management for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*

Altamente Recomendada!

DON’T BORROW TROUBLE FOR TOMORROW

The Montavio Brotherhood is a spinoff from the Deviant Doms series that featured cousins, the Rossi family. They share one family member that is in both series, Nonna, the beloved grandmother. Many of the Montavio family members have been mentioned in the previous series, and in this one, we will see Rossi kinfolk.

Quinn and Adriano Bruno are the two main characters. They both know of each other but really don’t have much communication—or at least that she knows of. Quinn is best friends with Eden, and Adriano is under Sergio.

The story’s plot will have Quinn in a place she shouldn’t have been and witnessing Adriano murdering a man. She will escape, but he sees her and that places her life in danger. Sergio orders them to marry—because a wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband. This is something that neither one wanted—but they have no choice.

Sergio: We don’t need to play at anything. Quinn was an accidental eyewitness to a punishable offense. You know what that means.
Tosca: Yes, of course. She looks at Quinn, Would you rather be killed?

The story is mystery, suspense, life and death danger, and the beginning of two people together. Both Quinn and Adriano have a past that has closed them off from wanting permanent relationships. They each have secrets and things that will be revealed over time. What was planned to be for six months may not have an expiration date after all. The marriage is to protect Quinn from the unknown—and that means protecting Eden.

I liked the angst and attitude of Quinn, she is bold and brash, but she also knows when she needs to back down. The chemistry between Quinn and Adriano sizzles off the pages. When you have a sadist and a masochist, they make a great team. The story does have plenty of action, some violence, and page-turning secrets and danger, along with passion. Scenes inside the BDSM club and in private, with power exchange, discipline, and explicit sex are part of the story.

I am a connoisseur of Ms. Henry, and this book has jumped to the top of my favorites for many reasons. It was proficient in plot and character development. The story flowed freely, which led to an amusing conversation between Adriano and Quinn. The dialogue painted vivid scenes where it was easy to believe yourself part of the drama. I loved the humor and earth-shattering chemistry between Quinn and Adriano. It was interesting to see how their relationship developed while facing danger. I enjoyed getting inside their heads and understanding what made them tick.

I thought that Adriano was going to be a one-dimensional character, but he surprised me. He was a man of many layers, and how I enjoyed peeling those layers back. Adriano was dangerous and deadly. He was not a man to tangle with. A lieutenant for the Ontavio Family, he was loyal and never questioned their plans for Quinn and himself. Six months was a short period to pay to protect the only family he knew. Adriano's moral compass was fuzzy. All he had to do was to protect Quinn, but rage consumed him when Quinn was in danger. He had to acknowledge that he had developed feelings for Quinn making him a dangerous man to cross.

At times Quinn was an enigma. She was sassy, feisty, independent, and quick with a retort, but there was a vulnerability about her that pulled at my heart. What do you do when you witness a man committing an act of violence, why you marry him, of course? Quinn was given no choice but to marry Adriano to protect herself and the Montavio family. She was not an obedient wife and led Adriano on a merry game of cat and mouse. Quinn's disobedience found herself over Adriano’s knees often, which she enjoyed most of the time. Quinn struggled with fear of being hurt, but she hid it well.

This story was complex but very entertaining. It highlighted the importance of loyalty, trust, self-awareness, and love. I enjoyed the humor and never knew what would come out of Quinn's mouth next. There was many sex and discipline scenes that burned up the pages. A great read.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "ADORATION" This story hooks you right from the start its an addicting page turner, action packed full of suspense, angst, intrigue, secrets, murder, rivals, steamy erotic bdsm scenes, twists that has you on the edge of your seat to the end.
Quinn was raised by religious grandparents when they found out she went to visit her suicidal mother & saved her life they kicked her out at age 16yrs., on the streets trying to survive she ends up at Bella Notte Club where her now BF Eden's husband Sergio Montavio head of Mafia Family & owner run the business she's a masochist who needs pain, likes to have no ties, no commitments, no love, just heart fun with a great Dom.
Adriano Bruno is part of the Montavio family they took him off the streets saved his life he loyalty to them is unwavering he's been stalking Quinn for awhile when he found out the Mexican Cartel wanted pay back for Sergio taking Eden they'd start a war if they went after Sergio, Eden or sister Starla so they went after Quinn her BF.
Adriano has played Dom for Quinn without her knowing its him, she like to be blindfolded, he's a sadest he knows everything about her, how she loves pain, but she does a little snooping at the Club & sees something she shouldn't have meaning her life will change forever, she has to either be in arranged marriage with Adriano so she can't testify in court against him or die.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written mind-blowing intense story Quinn & Adriano take you on quite the journey their chemistry is explosive, you can't get enough of these two I absolutely love her sass, banter with Adriano his come back comments, it's a must read you don't want miss getting I loved it.
I'm so looking forward to "BELOVED" next book in this excellent series I hope it's Starla's story because she's in danger it can't come soon enough.
EXCELLENT MINDBLOWING MAFIA ROMANCE 🖤

Another gripping story from Jane Henry in the Montavio Brotherhood series and a book that you won't want to put down.
Quinn couldn't unsee what she had just witnessed, Adriano Bruno, a man that she had lusted over from afar, had just murdered a man in cold blood, could she escape without being seen ?..........no she couldn't.
Quin was at the Bella Nostra nightclub, it was an erotic club and only the very wealthy were allowed access, Quinn's best friend, Eden, was married to the owner, Sergio Montavia, head of the Montavia mafia family, cousins and allies to the powerful Rossi mafia family, Adriano was Sergio's best friend.
When there was trouble, and Quinn was certainly trouble, the Montavio and the Rossi families had a united front, Quinn must marry Adriano thus making it impossible to testify against him.........after six months she would be freed from the marriage.
Quinn may be in awe of the powerful mafia families but she was feisty, she was spirited and she had guts, she would make them all aware that she didn't want to be married to this broody, sombre murderer, no matter how ovary rattling good looking he was.
This story follows the marriage of two people, both with baggage from their former lives, with a chemistry that is off the scale, falling in love, despite that being the last thing that either of them wanted. This book is laced with anger, suspense, danger and an escalating death toll but also a love and passion between two two people, their fights, their contradictions, their diversity.... could this marriage possibly work ?
I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

This is book 2 in the Montavio Brotherhood series.
Now I need to read 1st book, as I'm guessing it's Sergio and Eden's story.
This book started on a high and continued until the end. I loved the open scene, the writing by Jane Henry is fantastic. Instantly captured my attention and didn't let go.
This is a dark Mafia Romance and I haven't actually come across dark mafia romance with so much humour.
Quinn is a wonderful character. Broken but so easy to love. What I liked most about her was that she couldn't lie and was always honest and straight with her answers. She was absolutely hilarious with some of the stuff that came out of her mouth and her inner monologue.
Adrian was so hot and broody. He is a Dom and loves his control of things. He is extra possessive and obsessive when it came to those he loved.
They had a fantastic relationship, they may bicker like cats and dogs but they had a hot chemistry. When her life is under threat he will do anything to protect her. Who is after her?
This book had drama, suspense, secrets, action, murder, range of kinks (check trigger warnings), pain, emotions, power, love and spice.
If you like, Dark Mafia Romance, BDSM, Enemies To Lovers and Marriage of Convenience with some humour then go get this book. I can't wait to read more from Jane.

Adriano has committed an act of ruthless vengeance and murders a guy, and Quinn sees everything. Quinn witnesses a murder at the club she enjoys hanging out at with her BFF Eden so she runs to Eden for help escaping the madman who just killed a guy. Eden's husband Sergio is also Adriano's boss. Their best solution is marriage for six months, she's to marry Adriano to keep her safe. I love these two together, Adriano is a very possessive of Quinn, he'll do everything to keep her safe from harm. He's keeping secrets and information away from her, he's been watching her actions at the BDSM club and feels like he knows her pretty well.
When she starts putting the pieces together, she understands her life really is in danger, not just because she witnessed the killing. The puzzle pieces are slowly revealed, will she run from him when she finds out what he's been hiding from her? They both have reasons for not trusting people, in relationships, no commitments or lasting relationships. Quinn is very upfront with Adriano; she tells him do not fall in love with me! Being the alpha badass he is saying, no problem I don't want anything lasting either. This arrangement of convivence quickly becomes a passionate affair involving their hearts. I have read and reviewed this excellent story.

I just finished reading 'Adoration', the second book in Jane Henry's "Montavio Brotherhood" series and it exceeded my expectations. This Mafia Romance read is packed with action, romance, and suspense. The author, Ms. Henry, never fails to deliver an amazing story, and this one is no exception.

The story revolves around Quinn, who is like a nomad, and how she met Eden, Sergio's wife, on a bus. They became best friends after reconnecting at the Belle Notte club. One evening at the club, Quinn witnessed Adriano, Sergio's enforcer, taking care of business, and she quickly escaped to tell Eden what she had seen. Unfortunately, when she got to Eden's place, she found Adriano had beaten her there. Now, Quinn has to choose between paying the consequences for what she's seen or marrying Adriano.

Quinn is an insecure, quick-witted, sarcastic masochist, while Adriano is not only a mafia enforcer but a sadistic self-made billionaire who also happens to be a Dom. The chemistry between them is intense, and their personalities are relatable. They are both broken in their own way, but they will do anything to protect those they love.

This book is about love, loyalty, and family, and I found myself rooting for Quinn and Adriano throughout the story. Overall, 'Adoration' is a great read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The next in the Montavio series and Jane's men seem to get more Alpha with each visit. You will love Quinn and Adriano.
When Quinn sees Adriano dispensing Mafia Justice and realises she has been seen, she runs. Adriano comes after her, as she is this best friend of the wife of his Boss, killing her isn't an option. It is decided the two will marry as a wife can't be forced to testify against a spouse.
Quinn is a very strong willed woman, she has been keeping herself safe and away from committed relationships for longer than she can remember. She is the last person likely to settle into a "Mafia Marriage". Adriano is the epitome of a Mafia male and a Dominant to boot. This is only supposed to be a 6 month arrangement, they can do this, can't they? Light the blue touch paper and stand back.
These two are a great read, they both have secrets and lies, some of which lead to actions that may finish them. The rest of the Montavio and Rossi families make very welcome appearances throughout the story. If you want more great reads, explore the previous series that introduce us to the Rossi family and the rest of the books in this series.

This is Quinn'sand Andriano’s story.
Eden’s best friend and one of Sergio’s top leaders.
I absolutely adored Andriano. He’s tough and ruthless and without mercy.
But also loyal, brave and when he loves he loves wholeheartedly.
Getting his whole backstory and background broke my heart and shattered my soul.
What a very sad and lonely part of his life he suffered.
Quinn is feisty and sassy and so very snarky. She is fun loving.
But also has a lot of heartache and sadness in her past. Which makes her cautious of her present and her future.
Their relationship is complicated and isn’t based on love.
So they are learning about each other and learning to trust one another.
But with danger knocking on their door and evil trying to gain a foothold.
Nothing is going easy for either of them nor for their new fragile relationship.
But where they have no problems is in the sexual relationship.
The sadist and masochist. The Dom and the brat. They match perfectly together.
They are hot and sexy. They ignite and explode in pure bliss.
I enjoyed seeing them learn to love and trust. And grew as individuals and as a couple.

This is Quinn's story. You might remember she is Eden's friend. Quinn is a masochist who loves hanging out at Bella Notte, or at least she does until the night a dom ghosts her and disappears. Following him, she ends up somewhere she shouldn't be and witnesses something that could get her killed. She thinks she had gotten away - only to find herself face-to-face with the man she just saw committing a murder. The next thing she knows she is married to him.

Adriano Bruno had not had an easy life. Being brought into the Montavio/Rossi families saved his life and his loyalty to Sergio Montavio is unshakable. When he is instructed to marry Quinn he doesn't hesitate. He knows they have a tough row to hoe, but it is only for six months. Right? But what if he doesn't want to let her go? His first problem, though, is to keep her and himself alive.

These two have unbelievable chemistry, both in and out of bed. Loving this series. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Quinn and Adriano. Quinn never in her life expected the turn that it was about to take when she witnessing Adriano doing something horrible. The only thing that is left to do is to make her his wife. Since shes the witness she can't ever testify against him. Six months of her life is all she would have to be dedicated to this man and the plan and she would be free again to live the life she wanted to live. However there are threats from his enemies and they will also have to deal with trauma they have both lived through in their childhood. This will lead to a connection that neither one of them ever saw coming. Adriano is also dominant and very possessive and he is about to show her a world she never knew existed. I have to say that these two are perfection together. I loved them from the very start of the book. They have some amazing banter with each other. I loved every single secon of this book and it is one that you shouldn't miss.

Adriano is the brother who handles the "cleanup," and Quinn is the innocent caught in a storm she didn't see coming.

Adriano is obsessed with order and discipline. When he takes Quinn under his "protection," it’s less about a rescue and more about a total takeover. He wants to own every thought she has. What makes their chemistry work is that Quinn doesn't just fold. She challenges his rigid control, which creates that delicious friction Jane Henry is known for. The title isn't a suggestion; it's Adriano's literal mindset. His love is heavy, stifling, and borderline religious in its intensity.

If you're a fan of Henry’s signature "spanking/discipline" tropes, Adriano is the poster child for it. He uses it as a way to "ground" Quinn (and, let’s be honest, to assert his dominance).

Their romance isn't in a vacuum. Adriano is constantly balancing his brutal responsibilities to his brothers with his need to keep Quinn tucked away from the ugliness of their world.

“HE FALLS FIRST AND HARDEST.”

Adriano and Quinn..
