Annie J. Rose is an Amazon top 30 best seller contemporary romance author who loves to bring all of your fantasies to life. She writes steamy romance with a happily ever after.
Born and raised in New Zealand, she often spends most of her time writing stories by her balcony. Pharmacist by day, smut-writer by night.
26-year-old college English major and certified preschool teacher Catherine—Cat—Bowen loved spending her days teaching and encouraging her preschool students at a local daycare. The problem was that her passion for nurturing children didn’t support her adequately to allow her to spend her evenings pursuing her other passion—writing. She couldn’t afford to spend her evenings writing or working on her MFA. Rather, the beautiful young teacher with shoulder length golden brown hair and bright, blue eyes, spent her evenings at a small restaurant acting as hostess, tending bar and waitressing—whatever needed doing—to help her afford sharing an apartment with her best friend and roommate, Alyssa. And some months, even with juggling two jobs, Allyssa had to be patient until her friend’s tips accumulated adequately for Cat to fully pay her share of the rent.
And routinely, Cat is reminded by Allyssa that the aspiring author didn’t have to wait forever for her salary to afford her dreams. Cat’s former boyfriend, Devon, had recently offered her a path to fulfilling the dream of not working so much and being able to pursue her MBA. When Cat’s boyfriend had the opportunity to follow a promotion to Chicago, he asked her to go with him with a proposal of marriage to sweeten the offer. But she knew that while she enjoyed his company, she didn’t love him enough to marry him. And so, she stayed behind, working two jobs and fitting in writing time between jobs, not willing to compromise her determination to marry for love, not convenience.
But now, Allyssa’s new engagement and relocation to fiancé Parker’s place has put even more pressure on Cat’s finances, especially since many months, Cat isn’t on-time with her current part of the rent. And, while she could seek a new roommate to share the expenses, she could also seek a different second job—like as a nanny. And when Allyssa shares the salary and benefits of a full-time nanny could earn, Cat is stunned. Cat would be able to follow her passion of working with children and write or study in the evening, after her day of nanny duties were complete.
And so, she follows Allyssa’s suggestion and registers with a local nanny agency. And, after a character check, she is very quickly put in touch with a family seeking a new nanny after the previous nanny, who has been a part of the family for years, announced her decision to retire to California to help her daughter with her new baby.
So, with her credentials in place she drives to the elite, secluded northern Virginia neighborhood where she is stunned to encounter a familiar pair—a sweet young girl and the father—who had often dined at the restaurant where she and Allyssa worked. And, noting the handsome father and his engaging daughter, had gained the nickname between Cat and Allyssa as “hot dad” whenever the pair came into the eatery. Now, “hot dad” had a name—David King, the 40-year-old, divorced, handsome, dark-haired, green-eyed was CEO of DKI. So, with the prospects of a much more generous salary and housing in the luxurious pool house’s apartment, and most evenings free for writing or possible graduate classes, how could she possibly say “no”?

This is a wonderful story about two people who start to fall in love before they are ready to admit it to themselves or each other. David is a wealthy, divorced businessman with a 7 year old daughter, Lily, who is over-programmed, bright and cheerful. His older nanny leaves for family reasons, and he hires Catherine, or Cat – a young woman who has worked in a pre-school as well as in a bar as a waitress. Cat and Lily are a perfect match – Cat is the perfect nanny for Lily, and Lily loves Cat. As time passes, David and Cat start a secret affair which goes through some angst, but it is also helped by the actions of his mother, Francesca, who also really likes Cat and ultimately presses David to do what he hasn’t had the courage to do – tell Cat he loves her. Of course, there have to be some problems before the story gets to a happy ending – but the ending is satisfying and logical. All the key characters in the story were wonderful – David and Cat are intelligent and attractive – and Lily and Francesca, as well as Cat’s friend Alyssa, are excellent supporting characters to the main story. Falling for the Nanny is an age-gap romance but with a few other tropes added in, along with a good hit to the solar-plexus with emotion. The story is about Catherine "Cat" Bowen, a twenty-six year old preschool teacher who also works at a local restaurant in the evenings, and David King, a forty year old CEO of DKI, along with his cute two year old daughter Lily. Cat is on the edge financially, barely making it with both jobs. When her roommate and best friend Allyssa gets engaged and is moving wit her fiance Cat knows she will not be able to pay for their apartment by herself. When Allyssa suggests Cat become a nanny she is not sure but decides to register with a local agency. She is quickly matched with a family who is looking for a nanny when their previous nanny decided to retire. When Cat drives to the house she is met with David and Lily, both who she knows from working at the restaurant. David may have a name but he will always be "Hot Dad" to Cat, which was her and Allyssa's nickname for him. Soon things start to develop between the couple even as they try to fight it. This is a cute, lite, fun, sexy and entertaining read.
He Finally Answered When Love Came Knocking - Even though David was adamant that he won’t be employing Catherine as his nanny, his daughter managed to convince him that Catherine is the nanny she wants looking after her. Catherine was shocked when she received the call to say she got the job, as David intimated that he would not be employing her. Their working relationship was always filled with tension, which led to a mind blowing passionate encounter.
Unfortunately, David’s past relationship history caused him to pull back, but he still felt an inexplicable pull towards Catherine. Spending time together brought them closer and changed the status of their relationship, but a misunderstanding caused Catherine to walk away. Luckily, the friction between them caused David the realise his true feeling for Catherine, which gave him the confidence to fight for their happy life together.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It isn’t your typical nanny billionaire romance, as it has a little twist in the story that made it much more of a captivating read. I highly recommend this book.

Cat worked in a daycare and restaurant but still managed to be broke constantly. She lives with her best friend who suddenly announced she is moving in with her boyfriend. She comes up with a plan for Cat to become a live-in nanny to someone with money. There is a man who comes in regularly with his daughter but always seems to be engrossed with work and is seemingly rude to those in the restaurant. His name is Noah, and he just discovered his nanny is moving to California to be with her daughter. It is by chance that the nanny discovers Cat from the agency and wants her to work there. When Noah finds out, he does not want to hire her but is convinced otherwise. From there, many humorous situations occur! This is a funny sweet romance that will have you chuckling out loud but at the same time, you will want to put your foot in Noah’s behind. Read what happens when two people who were clearly meant for each other go through an inexplicably hard time to discover just that! Great fast-paced hot steamy read!
Oh my goodness, such a good book. Have to love a strong, female character and one that stands up for what she believes is right. Exactly kind of nanny that David needs. David is used to getting everything his own way in business and in life. No one contradicts him, and no one tells him how to raise his daughter. His daughter Lily plays a really good part in this book, and you have to love her first nanny, and of course her grandma. But mostly Catherine, or Cat as everyone calls her, she is an amazing, strong character who’s not afraid to stand up to David about anything, including his daughter. Their attraction is evident from the very beginning, and they do OK fighting it for a while. But some rules are made to be broken so we make new rules. Now we have new rules and those seem to be getting broken as well. It is such a good book to see David and Cat come together, it has a good happily, ever after, actually, a great happily ever after, and I would sure like to see them about five years in the future.
When Alyssa decided to move in with her boyfriend, it left Catherine Bowen (“Cat”) in a bad situation. She already worked part-time at the bar and had a full-time job as well. But without Alyssa to share the rent, she just wouldn’t make enough money to pay for everything.
David King is the father of a 7-year-old daughter, Lily. When the live-in nanny, Mrs. Barnes, told him she was quitting to help her daughter who just had a baby, he was left needing to hire someone quickly. This would be difficult for Lily also to adjust to someone new. He agreed to hire Cat, but his attraction to her made it uncomfortable. Will they abide by the working rules they set up? Would they find a way to compromise if they couldn’t? Or would he have to look for a new nanny once more?
David's daughter's Nanny has told him, she needs to move and help her own daughter. Now David needs a new Nanny to look after Lily, he is suprised to see a familiar looking woman (Cat), and he thinks she is too young. It seems Lily wants him to hire Cat, will he regret it if he does? I liked the streaming attraction between these two, it had enough angst, interesting characters and clashes between David and Cat to make it a good read.

When Noah loses his nanny, he scrambles to find another which leads him to Cat. His daughter is drawn to Cat, but he is adamant about not hiring her. When his daughter put on the pressure, he has no choice but to hire Cat and it starts them on their path. This story kept me glued to the pages and cheering for Noah and Cat to make it to a happily ever after.

This is a well written older man/younger woman romance with strong characters in David and Cat as well as all the secondary characters. The author takes you into their lives as they work through their relationship. It's an entertaining story and I enjoyed reading. It moves fluidly and is a great read.

Catherine is in need of job to help pay her bills. David needs to replace the nanny for his seven year old daughter. David doesn't want to hire Catherine because of his attraction to her. His daughter has different ideas. Can these two push past all the issues to find happiness together? This is a great read with plenty of sexual tension.

Noah needed a nanny after she told him she was quitting and Cat was the perfect one to take over. Cat has been working two jobs and wants something else when she gets hired by Noah as his daughter's nanny. This age gap romance had me cheering Noah and Cat on to get their happily ever after. The writing is well done, the characters are believable, and the ending was perfect. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Cat, David and his daughter, Lily. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, denial, misunderstandings and steam.

This is the story of Cat and David. She is hired to be nanny to his seven year old daughter but the attraction they feel for each other can’t be denied. I enjoyed this age gap romance as they dance around the obstacles in their path. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this book. Cat needed another job so she got a nonnying job working for David, David is a very driven man but cat coming into their lives for change things up. Will they let their walls down or keep denying each other?.

This was one of the best nanny/employer stories I've read. Though David was a giant jerk, he tried and did what he thought was best. And Cat wasn't a shy counterpart. She stood up for what was right and fought tooth and toenail for it.

This was such a cliche story but I loved it. The whole falling in love with the help, beautiful. The only thing that really bothered me was lily’s schedule. Are millionaires really like that? Do they have their kids on rough schedules where they don’t have time to be kids? Idk that was a bit much if it is true.
It was definitely worth reading! David was really closed off and prickly, until his new nanny, Cat openly challenged him. The attraction was instant! I won't spoil it so definitely read it. Lily was an absolute delight, but I wish there was more dialog between Cat and Lily. It truly was sweet!
Cat works with little kids and at a bar. There she meets a gorgeous man who turns out to be David. He has a little girl called Lily. Such a beautiful love story. A beautiful woman. A very handsome man. And a sweet young girl.
This book was a nice, cute little love story. An attractive man with a cute little girl meets an attractive feisty woman, and the rest is history. If you're looking for something lite and airy to read, then this is it.
Ok story. Stand alone. HEA. Good supporting characters. Seven year old daughter, lily written well and age appropriate. David is a good guy. Catherine was harder to like. Good heat.
