John Sinclair and his daughters make a much delayed trip to Hawaii to scatter his wife's ashes per her wishes. He hasn't been able to move on since her death, but he's hoping this trip will help help them all. Deidra Ferguson is also in Hawaii, to scatter the ashes of her parents. Fate keeps throwing the two in their same path and John finds he's interested in Deidra. But he feels guilty meeting someone on a trip for the purpose of laying his wife to rest. This was a short but sweet story.

This was a short novella which I did enjoy. I enjoyed the relationship between Deidra and the girls. I thought that relationship between Deidra and John was a bit forced. The conflict was actually silly but in a short novella there isn't as much time to draw that out.

Book 1 had misogynistic views - willing to try newer books by this author.

The Marriage Promise is book four in the Billionaire Games series. I haven’t had the opportunity to read the prior books in this series and I am someone who likes to read a series in order, but thankfully I did not have to read them first. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next as I found myself crying, then I’d start laughing, and before I knew it tears were rolling down my cheeks again. I found it to be an emotional story, so you may want to have some tissues nearby.

Deidra Ferguson and John Sinclair have each lost someone very dear to them. They both promised their loved ones that they would take their ashes to Hawaii for their final resting place in the water and to say goodbye. Circumstances bring these two grieving people together, and as they spend time together they start to realize that the friendship they form is helping the other heal. But have their hearts healed enough for them to realize that they may have found the one person that can heal them completely? Or will they return to their homes left to wonder what could have been?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Omgosh, I don't know how Sandra Edwards does it. Just love love her work. I got the box set and I have been non stop reading. I just can't get enough.

Loss of loved one brought these two together. Both have ceremonies to attend as they release the ashes of their loved one. Deidre was her parents and John it was his wife. But a chance meeting brings them together as well as the love his daughters found in Deidre.

Sometimes the force is a little stronger than pride.

I have really enjoyed reading these books, the true love stories where they need a shove to realise their feelings for each other and that you can fill in bits with your own imagination. you will love all the characters and you won't want to put them down once you start. I would highly recommend these.

Enjoyable

If you read for f u n and escapism this series is great. The character have feelings and cares just not ours. No daily bills here but the ability to use money well is demonstrated.

Love in Hawaii

I enjoyed this book. The story is engaging. I immediately fell in love with the characters. It also helped that the book takes place in the most beautiful place on the earth, Hawaii.
