Lindsey McInness and her parents are barely surviving on post-Armageddon Earth. When a Kalquorian shuttle crashes nearby, Lindsey has no choice but to offer herself to the clan on board in exchange for food and rescue.
Bacoj, Japohn and Vax are stunned when a young woman presents herself to them for their sexual pleasure. Kalquorians of their youth and low rank have no expectation of finding the elusive Earther mates Kalquorians covet so highly. But the strong willed and yet yielding Lindsey seems to be a perfect fit for them … until they learn her secret that threatens to tear the entire clan apart.
Born in a small town on the coast of North Carolina to strict parents, Tracy St. John started out as a quiet, shy child. She was typical for her small town: studying hard for good grades, fishing with her dad on Saturdays and attending church on Sundays.
When adolescence kicked in, so did full-on rebellion. School, family and church fell by the wayside as Tracy partied too hard with the wrong people. Somehow surviving her wild-child phase, she pursued several careers before finally settling on video production and writing.
A string of failed relationships prompted her to give up on love…which of course meant fate immediately tossed Mr. Right her way. After only 4 months of dating, she eloped with the love of her life. They just celebrated 14 years of wedded bliss.
Prior to penning her first erotic novel ‘Alien Embrace’, Tracy wrote commercials, television and radio promos, and training films for various government entities.
Tracy St. John now lives in coastal Georgia with her husband and son. She still enjoys fishing, and you’ll often find her haunting train museums with her locomotive-loving son. Besides writing, she also works in video production both in front of and behind the camera. She’s usually cast as the gun-toting bad gal, getting handcuffed in the end. She has no complaints.
Alien Salvation is the fourth book in the World of Kalquor series, and in my opinion, is the best book so far. The Kalquorians are searching Earth, or what's left of it, trying to contain the devastation left by the nuclear bombs, and also trying to find the Empress' family. The same family are hiding out in Florida, unknown to the looters who are nearby, or the Kalquorians. When a small scout ship lands, Lindsey decides that she will do whatever it takes to get food for her parents. When she realises that the 'trade' isn't as bad as she thought it would be, she is more than happy to carry. With adventures and mishaps along the way, Lindsey and her clan need to figure out what is the right thing to do, and what is the right thing for them.
This book is very well written, giving the reader no doubt about how much Lindsey loves her family. Tara is a wonderful character, so serene and yet full of wit and humour at times. Aaron is everything a father should be towards his daughter - loving and protective. The clan themselves seemed a bit disjointed when we first met them, but with Lindsey there, they all grow and mould into one cohesive unit. This book will tug on the emotions, it has more sorrow in it than the previous books. This series is turning out to be a secret surprise and definitely recommended by me.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. *
Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Feb 22, 2017
Lindsey, Jessica's sister who was nurse in book #2, sees a Kalquorian ship crash. She, her mother and her father are barely surviving post-apocalypse and since she's heard the Kalquorians are sex fiends, she's willing to trade sex for food even if it's her first time. And what a first time! Since she's open to all they want to do, just like her sister, she enjoys it all and then goes back for more after they feed her. She finds out that the guys, Bacoj, Japohn and Vax are looking for Jessica's family and also to evacuate as many people from Earth because the nuclear weapons Earth detonated will make the planet uninhabitable in two years. They can put shields over the cities that were devastated, but they won't last.
Back to the guys, she's having such a great time and they're having such a great time, why don't they make it permanent. Well, she's the Empress' sister, so that might be a problem but not to Lindsey. She just has to convince the guys.
Very sweet book, some heartbreaking parts in it. This was my favorite of the bunch!
I just read this book again. I think it's about the 5th or 6th time now. When you read one of Tracy's books, you can tell that she cares about her characters and that she takes her time to fully develop them and the world they live in. Unfortunately this does mean we have to wait a while between books so when I am in need of a Kalquor fix, I just reread one of the stories I already own. Every time I reread them I find new things to love about them. I do recommend that you read them in order, just so you can fully enjoy them, but they can be read as standalone books.
In this book, the MCs Lindsey, Bacoj, Japohn and Vax are fully fleshed and richly detailed. She has placed these characters in a world that is falling apart due to the horrors of a war between the 2 cultures.
Lindsey is a strong woman who has survived untold hardships so she is a bit damaged and leery of trusting these men. She doesn't have much choice but to approach them though or her parents may die. This is one of the few stories I've read where the heroes aren't completely confident in themselves yet. They are struggling to find their place in the world and within their clan. I love how they bring out the best in each other and help each other grow and become stronger people. I loved reading about each and everyone of them. The secondary characters of Lindsey's parents are sweethearts that add a lot to the story.
Now for the 'bad' news. Fair warning . . . this is an UGLY CRY story! I mean swollen eyes, dripping nose, use 1/2 the tissues in the box, crying. It starts about 3/4 of the way into the book, so be sure you have your tissue box within reach.
I highly recommend this series of books to anyone who likes menage, romantic sci-fi and characters that you end up wanting to take home with you. Oh, did I mention the steamy and sizzling hot love scenes? Tracy pens a mighty fine love scene!!
This story takes place on post Armageddon Earth. Lindsay is the sister of Jessica, the Earther who clanned with the Imperial princes in book 2.
I liked that the three Kalquorians that Lindsay joined are young and not socially prominent. It was a sweet love story, even though there were some sad parts.
This is the story of Lindsey and Clan Bacoj. Empress of Kalquor, Jessica, has been searching for her family. After war broke out between Earth and Kalquor, her family went into hiding. She's been looking in hopes they didn't perish in the flames of Armageddon.
Linsey and her parents have survived Armageddon, but are barely surviving. They witness a Kalquor shuttle crash at the beach. Lindsey's heard the Kalquorians love Earth women and she is willing to trade sex for food to feed her family. Bacoj, Japohn, and Vax are surprised when a brave Earther offers herself in exchange for food. Clan Bacoj is a new, young clan, and they know there is virtually no way of getting a Matara(a lifebringer), of their own when higher ranking Clans have first choice. They take Lindsey up on her offer. When they find out she is untouched, they go out of their way to make her first time, a good time. Undaunted by the alien's extra appendage, Lindsey did, in fact, find that she loves sex. She also finds out that Earth was the ones to cause Armageddon by detonating nuclear weapons upon their people thus making the planet uninhabitable within two years. Kalquor is committed to helping evacuate any remaining Earthers that choose to leave Earth.
Lindsey and her family agree to go with the Kalquorians so they can leave Earth and reunite with Jessica. Once they somewhat fix their ship, they start the trek to the extraction point. The men and Lindsey are drawn to each other in some inexplicable way. They grow very fond of her and she of them. They wonder if she would consider joining their clan. But Lindsey has kept secret the fact that they are Jessica's family the Kalquorians are searching for. Lindsey doesn't think it means much and she clans with the men because it's what she wants. Unfortunately, being the Empress' sister is a huge deal in the eyes of the Kalquorians! They are in turmoil as to what to do.
Tracy St. John has written a very intriguing world and having read many books in the World of Kalquor series, I just can't get enough! Alien Salvation is a very heart-wrenching and endearing story of love. Very sweet and also very sad at times too! There was an instant click with Lindsey and this clan and I could feel their connections! The sex between them was endearing and off the charts steamy! I felt so bad when the clan learned who she really was and how they felt they were so beneath her in status, that they didn't deserve her dedication and love. Lindsey didn't care about rank-she wanted HER Clan Bacoj! It tore Lindsey to the bone and the men were just as miserable! I loved this book four in the series!
If you haven't read any of the books in the World of Kalquor, please give them a look! Book one, Alien Embrace, starts the series off, and I suggest reading that first. Once you start, you won't be able to put them down!
4.5 stars/4 flames
This book was gifted to me by the Jeep Diva for an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinions.
This is the first Tracy St. John book that I have read and I'd like to start off by saying I almost didn't make it through the first chapter. The formatting problems are awful and consistent throughout. Please, please go back and fix it because this was a wonderful story. The author's writing is imaginative and fun, funny in some places, smoking hot in others, and more than worth the asking price.
The basic premise is this: Lindsey McInness and her parents are fighting back starvation on a post-Apocalyptic world--but only just barely. When a clan of Kalquorians crash within three blocks of the building in which they've taken refuge, Lindsey makes the difficult decision to go to them. The reputations of Kalquorians being what they are, her plan is to trade sex for food. How fortunate for her that, while this particular clan is not above taking her up on that offer, they are also everything she never knew she should hope men--human or Kalquorian--could be.
As much as I enjoyed this story, I did have some problems with it. Primarily, Lindsey's penchant for waffling in and out of character. She is portrayed from the start as a strong, intelligent, 30-something woman who also stamps her foot and pouts like a child for unbelievably stupid reasons. Just because it's traditional for heroines in romances to act this way doesn't mean that they should, or that Lindsey should. You have proved yourself to be a better author than this. Please don't make this mistake again.
I also really liked the Kalquorian clan: Bacoj, Vax, and Japohn. I loved their easy camaraderie with one another, their individual personalities, their Alpha maleness even when it becomes strangely/heart-warmingly over-domineering at times. Some light BDSM scenes worked well with the overall story, but sometimes the sex was a little much. I found myself skimming through it just so I could get back to the meat of the story. Erotica with too much sex? Go figure. Still, I feel the book was well-worth reading and suits the price I paid for it.
Favorite of them all so far. It may have started as a trade sex for food but it became sooo much more. Lead female Lindsey willing and enjoying with little to none self hatred or fear from incrimination of sexual liaisons.
Domination master/slave game...sexy hott....spanking, orgasm, body & voice control For once "the bite" not used for control or reeducation but only for euphoric enhancement during sex..
I enjoyed all three men before the alpha dominate emerged from them after that it was all domination all time. I gotta hand it to Lindsey she is one strong woman I could not handle all the teasing and orgasm restraint she does. This one had it all. Sexy hot characters going at it all the time and falling in love on the way. Action with a few fights and battles, tragic loss, heartbreak, secrets revealed and of course the double penised Kaljour clan with 3 men to one human female...What's not to love.
I loved this book the most because Lindsey went completely willing, only having mild issue overcoming the religion drummed into her head instead keeping an open mind with the Buddist religion her family secretly follows. She wasn't forced to clan, reeducated, raped with euphoric bites and sexual coercion. It was definitely a nice break from the previous stories.
*Re-read: Still my favorite of the series and one of the main reasons I choose to re-read the series (well my fav books for it at least).
We get to see the aftermath of the invasion of Earth by the Kalquorians. I'm sort of surprised and sort of not surprised that the Earther leaders went to the extent that they did. They were totally crazy. I mean, their cheese done slipped their crackers but good. And not, you know, in a fun way. It's all very scary. And just another reason to never trust those in charge.
I love Lindsey. I love her Clan too, except when they are being idiots, because, well, men are idiots. I want to be just like Tara, Lindsey and Jessica's Mom. She's just so peaceful and accepting, and amazing.
Fourth book in series and I finally found a book without rape. That's why this book got one extra star. The writing is still poor, the worlbuilding nonexistent and plot unfindable. The whole book consists of sex scenes that are copies of each other. As I started to skip over them,I was left with very few ages of action outside the sex scenes. But at least this time, sex was consensual and woman was not treated as slave.
Great coninuation of the Kalquorian series that had me almost crying through much of it (but my H was home, so I kept it under control, lol).
This series is best if you start from the beginning, so if you haven't read the previous books, you won't like this one as much as you would if you had.
If I was to be an author I would want to write like Tracy St. John. She describes things in such detail and never in the same manner. It could be the same sort of scene, but she would use completely different vocabulary. There was no repetition. I loved the pictures painted with her words. Everything is so beautifully written - the scenary, the characters and their interactions, everything. All the characters reactions are believable and normal (this i my pet hate in other stories). I don't know why I started with the fourth one in the series but I don't know how any of the others could beat this one. I'm willing to give it a go though!
Post-Armageddon earth is barely able to keep its human kind alive. Lindsey is one of those survives along with her mom and dad. She must make a choirs to help them all out. Strike a deal with a downed shuttle of Kalquorians of low ranking. Lindsey is a strong character in this book. One whom makes choices to benefit her family while keeping secrets of her own from the clan. The writing draws you in, story keeps you going and the sex makes you blush. Well done.
I liked this book a lot! Lindsay was a spitfire and demanding little thing but she knew when to submit and when to fight. There was so much in this book and to comment would give stuff away. I will just say you will not regret it. Overall the storyline was fluid and the characters right on par with the series. I am eager to read more!
I really enjoyed this book .... I only read these books after I've read a clan beginnings book... I liked Lindsey and of course the clan...the story flowed and no unnecessary drama..
I know I sould not have high expectations but, I could not overcome my irritarion of language. The guys' way of talking was so primitive, I could not take them seriously.
What do you think happen in such a book as Alien invading earth in search of women to mate. The story is just so thin that it cannot cover the excuse for salacious sex scene. Enough said.
Allready reading, Kalqourians are on earth trying to maintain radioactive fallout from earther government blowing up their own planet to stop what they called devils alien spawn from having any of earths women. Men were told to slice the necks of their wifes and childrens and kill their self it was that extreme so sad what government can inside thru fear.
The alien race is trying to save earth as much as poosible thru fallout clean up but in two years time earth will be a dead planet for decades at least. so what people are left are dying of starvation or killing each other to live... Emporess Jessica Mcinness wants her family found if they still live and they do... but when alien clean up crew finds her sister Lindsey who has left her parents in the hiding they have she finds the aliens will help but she negotiates sex for food. They tell her no to sex for food to stay alive but Lindsey is curious a 30 year old virgin so she says no lets do this and be paid.. Well they feed her family and take the family with them unaware the family is the emporess of Kalqour's family, they are afraid to tell them Jessica is their daughter/sister at this point in the book but they have saved the family from death this far. Lindsey is hungry for the three aliens and enjoys the sex they have, these books pose much danger thru war, attack of other species so I am sure much more excitment is to come.. even before they got the family in their crashed and fixed ship about 30 men surrounded the ship with bats beating it demainding all food and supplies but got a electric zap instead.. lol. loved that part..
So lets see what happends I know it will be a happy ending and Jessica will reunite with her family. It is in the stars I can see it...
I love this series and hates to even finish this book I don't want it to end. The plots and great and sex even better so if you like This typs of book READ THE SERIES. I did read one book out of order 'alien slave' was the last book in this series beside this short story book so make sure you read them in order..
Well Lindsey has fallen in love with this clan who have rescued her mother, father and self.. The aliens have saved their lives and the lives of other who have lived thru the horrors Earths government chose to excact on the people of the planet 'death' by nuclear warheads set all over the earth in all major cities... Radiation fallout is being contained but within two years earth will be a dead planet, no life will be able to live.... Kalqourians rush to save all they can people, plants and animals.. the clan who found Lindsey are a containment crew and not to be out looking for survivors so when they find Lindsey they do not know who she is. She clans them,, finally they get to the area where all survivors are to be brought and returned to Kalquor for a new life. The minute one commander sees Lindsey he knows who she is and says nothing after hearing of her claning a young un-acomplished group in his eys, all royalty which Lindsey is to be clanned with more suitable clans... so her clan is spoken to by the commander in private and they end up de-clanning her. She is crushed... hurt and depressed. Vax one of the clan is ready to die, he has not spoken ot the leader of the clan since the news was broken to Lindsey. The clan men did not agree on the leaders choice to declan her but his word is final...
In the end Lindsey and her family are leaving for Kalquor and Tramgooms attach those still on earth where they just left from her declanned men try to send warning but commication is down...
What they do not know is Lindsey is on her way back to them per Imperess Jessica 'her sister's voice.. Lindsey is happy but her clan tried to take out two larger space shipped full of tragooms and the larger of one ship has crushed her clans smaller ship.. leaving them all critally hurt and pinned in except for Vax they clan begs him to stab them all in the heart instead of being eaten alive by tragooms. When they hear a door being opened 'pulled off' on the small ship they are trapped in the leader begs vax to kill him... Knife at heart starting to dive into his chest will they live to see who opens the door. I will not tell you but is is not tragooms at the door it is the commander who took her to the mother ship for departure to Kalquor and Lindsey. But now they have made the choice to die so what will happen now?
much more in this book, and I will give no more spoilers... READ IT, Salvation is the next to the last book in the series except for a short story book which revisits all the main characters in each book, and it took is good.. After reading this make sure you read Alien Slave in this series, It is great,
Enjoy the excitment and hot sex.. yes there is plenty so get use to it.. blood, fighting, war, aliens, crazy male fanatic spent on killing the aliens there to help them and sex. Aaahhhh what a good read..
3.5 stars. fewer of the dub-con and coercive sex situations in this book relative to others in the series, thankfully. Storyline better developed and the siting on post-apocalyptic Earth is refreshing and gave us more plot possibilities. Author’s writing of sex scenes has gotten tedious, repetitive; I found myself skimming most of them in favor of focusing on plot - and that is not why I signed up to read alien smut books like this one in the first place. It’s probably time for me to call it quits with this series....

Alien Salvation is the fourth book in the Clans of Kalquor series by author Tracy St. John. I have not read the other books in this series. I did find myself slightly lost but was able to get what was going on, and found myself in love with the characters. Earth is nearly been destroyed. The race is dying due to a virus that has wiped out futile women. The Kaquor now rule Earth. Lindsey survived the Armageddon that struck. Her and her family are strong. But still poor and in need of help. They are starving. Lindsey is willing to make a deal to save them. I liked Lindsey. She is smart, tough, strong, and most of all has a caring heart. I liked that she is not the type of girl to just roll over and take it. She will fight back. I liked her spirit and drive. This will get her very far in this book. Here are our list of the alien men in this book. Japohn is the protector of the bunch. Japohn and Nobeks were clan defends at one time. They take that position very seriously especially Japohn. Bacoj is the clan leader. Vax is the care giver. Everyone in the clan has a job. It is important to know who they are and what they do inside the clan. It can get a little complicated, but it does work in this book. I felt there was a ton going on. I loved the chemistry and the separate personalities of everyone. I felt the bdsm only added another layer to this book that made it work even better. I would like to go back and read the books I missed. I would also love to read more in this world and find out who falls in love next and where do we go from here. Five Shooting Stars
In "Salavation" we get a ton of back story on Earth after Armageddon.
Lindsey and her parents are starving, so when she sees a damaged Kalquorian shuttle close by, she offers herself in trade for food. The three aliens are surprised and pleased to take her up on her offer. What they don't know is that Lindsey is Empress Jessica's sister.
In a switch from others clans in the series, these Kalquorians, Bacoj, Vax, and Japhon are very young and junior officers. They fall hard for Lindsey, and she for them. There's tons of great suspense and action as they fight their way back to the alien base, and tons of extremely hot sex as the clan helps Lindsey (who's a virgin!!) get over her fear of intimacy. There's almost (dare I say it) too many body parts in too many places too many times. St. John maybe should have dialed it back a bit -- it's just too over the top...at times I found I myself skimming through it....
However, complications ensue when the clan learns about Lindsey's ties with Jessica, and they decide Lindsey should leave them since they're not wealthy or important enough for her.
It's a really sweet story about young love, and they all get their HEA, but honestly...I could have done with more talking and less....of everything else.
I liked this one a lot, it might be my favorite in the series. I loved that they weren't higher up in the food chain. In a lot of romance/erotica books the men are usually important, or have status in some way. I loved that they didn't and it proved that earth females didn't care about that. I wanted to yell when he ended it! I was so mad and I wanted her to scream! That was so mean. One thing I hate is when the men don't really listen to the female. It happens often in this series, they claim to want/do what's best for her but it isn't what the girl wants and when she says something she is called a child. That annoys me a little. This one wasn't that bad, I understand where his decision came from, but some of the books in this series do that more often. I was so sad when Aaron died! I felt like this one was vastly different in the storyline than the first ones, and I loved it. I loved that a family was included, not just the men and the female. I'm not a fame of when the female says "master", so once they became a clan I was glad that stopped. Also, home girl didn't wait one second before making the moves on the guys just went all in for it haha. I have already started the next book and so far I enjoy it.

This book was about Lindsey, Jessica's sister from book #2- Alien Rule and even though I gave this story three stars, I wished I could have given it more. But that's exactly what I felt when the book ended...I wanted more than what the author gave me. Lindsey's character was okay, her reasoning for her actions seemed justified. I was not impressed with the clan, yes--I understand that they were young, of low rank and dirty poor but good lord people get over it. The previous books gave the impression that the Kalquorians were a proud, strong race of men that didn't base decisions on material possessions. Yet this is precisely what the clan did. The story just felt empty with no purpose to the series as a whole. The immediate plot (if you want to call it that) was resolved, there was a HFN ending and there was lots of kinky alien sex....so I can't be too picky I suppose. However I was extremely let down, especially after the last one in this series was a bigger mess. Oh well, time to find a new series of alien kinkiness.
I knew there was a reason I stuck with reading this series! Oh this book really brings the story to life and the characters are wonderful!! The steam is finally fully consensual!! There is still loads of sex at less than appropriate times, like when there are people needing rescue.
Oh boy did this story deliver!! Lindsey is right up there with Jessica when it comes to great characters in this series! Not surprising as they are sisters! Their parents are super cute and so sweet!
The trio of hunks this time are super yummy and I was even into the whole slave role-playing they did in a couple of the steamy scenes!! Oh, La, pantie dropping hot and heavy action!!
The story was terrific and gut wrenching at times. There was one particular section I had to try to read through the tears! I am a sucker for romances!!
Can't wait for the next book and I only hope the series continues in this upward momentum!!
Salvation to those who remain on earth come from the aliens they are not sure of. Many think This alien race are those who killed all of earth people and the planet and do not realize it was our won leaders who decided for us to die was better then to mix blood with those who are like us but not of us....
This series was spectacular I loved it and it was HOT.........
I mean a man with dual manhood wooww i will take one.....
and the storyline on each novel is really good, suspense, romance, comedy, each story was very good..
I started the series with this one, not sure how. Perhaps if I'd gone through the others, I'd have liked it more, but as it stands, I struggled from the beginning liking the characters, or believing any of the worldbuilding. I mean, I know it's erotica, and the sex scenes were pretty good for the 6 penis/1 vagina scenario. Just felt like it fell pretty short with any other elements that make a book really enjoyable.
I have read this entire series. I like the world building. It's engaging and fascinating. Certain parts of the anatomy of the male aliens are...well a bit much. The word unnecessary leaps to mind. I couldn't help but to wonder about the reasoning behind that. Still it didn't keep me from reading the entire series.
I love this series! Falls under erotic romance because it has very involved and very detailed sex scenes that may not be for everyone, but the emotional relationships that form between the heroine and her multiple partners are full of respect, love, and true commitment. It is a different take on romantic relationships, but it sparks interest. Nicely written!
