Mason’s dark good looks and dominating personality stirred up Kelly’s forbidden fantasies, frightening her so much that she broke up with him. When she agrees to help out at the community haunted house, she never expects to be tied to a bed, playing damsel in distress to Mason’s masked, whip-wielding villain.

Mason knows Kelly is fighting her sexual needs and he hopes that a few hours of playing out her fantasies with him will prove it to her. Bound and under his control, she can’t run away from him this time.

"There's nothing wrong with needing more. What is wrong is denying that need and settling for less."

Bound To Submit is a story about Kelly and the one man she ran away from, Mason. Kelly grew up in home where from day one it was drilled in her head that "sex-is-bad and kinky-sex-is-the-devil", confusing her because she's always wanted something more, even though she doesn't know what more is. Mason saw the same need in her, but before they even had a chance to begin, she ran away. Using the Haunted House as an excuse to get her bound under him, she sets his plan in motion willing her to play along.
"Tied to a bed. Straining at the ropes. Begging for help. Why was she getting all excited at the thought?"

When her screams of fear turned into screams of frustration, she knows she has to see this through, battling with herself on what she needs and what she is told she needs. Scared of her own reactions and fear of her own thoughts and desires she pushes away the one man who ever understood her, the one man who was willing to give her what she needs... is it to late to say I'm sorry and try again, or has her irrational fear made him feel like the monster he isn't?

When I picked up this story the whole idea of the haunted house excited me, as well as all the opportunities that came with it. I really enjoyed the bound and helpless aspect of it, only it came with more frustration as there were plenty interruptions in the way. This sexy story is told from both Kelly and Mason's POV, you can see the irrational thoughts as it crosses her mind, thinking to much, wishing you can turn it off for her and help Mason out. This was a quick erotic read with slight kink, delicious at most and annoying at times but then I had to remind myself that her thoughts were ingrained in her, and it was only the first night so they had a long way to go.

A short story with light bdsm (bondage and trust), it was quick but there were lots of interruptions in the scenes when they were together and that was a little annoying. There wasn't much of a background except for the fact that Kelly thought it was wrong to do things like that and she ran away from Mason because of it. I didn't love it but it was ok for an erotica read and the concept of the haunted house was different from other stories. I first thought they were students but no, they're teachers.

The premise for this story is sort of preposterous, in the best possible way. Bdsm with a bit of Halloween fun thrown in? Point me to the sign-up sheet!

The book is not terribly long, being somewhere between a short story and novella, which in a way is both good and bad. Our heroine, Kelly was brought up modest prudish, and oppressed. She is clearly a sexual submissive, but cannot admit it—even to herself—as she believes her desires are wrong. While, our hero, Mason is an experienced dominant, enthralled with the Kelly nearly from first sight of her. Beyond what they do for a living, this is about as much as there is in regards to character development. I appreciate there being a decent amount of relationship backstory and plot, but I really was left wanting to know more about the characters themselves.

I also felt that the crux of the story could have been handled a little better. Kelly was unnecessarily cruel, and after a while her protestations seemed just a bit much. At that point, I found Mason to be equally frustrating as it was clear that while Kelly did need to be startled out of her self-repression, she also desperately needed all the parts of this new relationship explained to her. I’ve never seen another character so in need of a D/s contract discussion. That Mason is an experienced dom, yet doesn’t see that…was alarming.

All in all, the book is good, I just would’ve liked to have seen it a bit more fleshed out.

For the sake of full disclosure it must be stated that I received this book, free of charge, from Netgalley.

Kelly has agreed to help out at the Halloween community party, and as such, has a part to play in the haunted house for the night. She’s a damsel in distress, tied and bound to a bed by a masked villain, and who needs to scream her throat out when anyone opens the door on her. Sounds easy? Not exactly. The villain in question is a man who arouses forbidden fantasies in her.

He is Mason, darkly handsome with a domineering personality. He knows Kelly is not insensitive to his commanding stance – if only he could get her in a position where he can unleash her inner woman and show her she has nothing to fear, either from him, or her forbidden fantasies.

Can a night that started as innocent play turn into a voyage of discovery? One where love may also play in?

A little jewel. That’s what this book is. Too bad it was over so soon. I sure would like to ask Ms. Moore if she’d be willing to give us more of Mason and Kelly. The story flows smoothly, and you scream with fear just like Kelly at first, and then, as the night goes by, you scream with frustration when the door is opened just as you’re about to give in.

This is one to savour in a one go, cozying up in a nice seat, maybe with a cup of coffee, though you’ll focus more on the heat off the pages than the one coming from your mug!

This was a quick, hot read. Definitely something that you can read in a few hours.
Sexy dominating man…yup, this book has one. A woman who fights her sexual needs and desires because of the stereotypes, drilled into her since childhood. Yes, definitely has one of those too. Kelly broke up with Mason weeks ago and she gets roped into helping out at the community haunted house. She never dreams of being tied to a bed all evening, playing the damsel in distress. Who is the man behind the mask? It’s Mason, he’s holding a whip and he has more on his mind than just scaring some kids at the haunted house. He knows she can’t run and he plans to prove to her that he is the man she needs.

I liked this book because it didn't go into the hardcore bondage but it did really talk about the fears that society has about it. If it is done in a safe and sane manner have fun with you partner what this book also said to me.

Happy reading!

Bound to Submit is the same book as Nothing To Fear, with lots of heavy editing. Which was appreciated. It was a short, quick read which is perfect for the type of book it is. Kelly isn't sure about her desire to be tied up, so she breaks it off with Mason. I mean, she is from a strict religious upbringing, where touching is a big no-no, let alone kinky shit. However Mason is a tricky little devil, and arranges it so Kelly is the women in distress in this haunted house. Between guests, Mason has her way with her and shows Kelly just how fun and hot, bondage could be, and on a strict time limit, it just isn't enough time to convince Kelly.

I do wish it was a bit longer to see Kelly's whole internal struggle.

A quick hot enjoyable read. The simmering heat between Kelly and Mason is palatable! In this novella by Ms. Moore you get hot and sticky on Halloween. Kelly has been raised with the idea that sex is bad and kinky sex will send you to hell in a handbasket, so when Mason tells her he wants to tie her up, she runs. Mason, knows her better then she knows herself and arranges a way for her to confront her fear and own what she is at a Haunted House Fundraiser. The story flows wonderfully and the characters are very likable. I will admit I wanted to knock some sense into Kelly a few times, myself.
I look forward to reading more by this author.

Short but very enjoyable. The haunted house aspect was very imaginative on Natasha Moore's part. Kelly was not raised in the type of environment where she could be free to explore her sexual kinky side ;) Mason knows Kelly's hidden kink fantasies and that she's running from them and him because of her upbringing. Cue a haunted house scene, someone is tied to a bed ..... READ this short story for the rest! LOL
The only thing I can say is that I wish it was longer because I was having a lot of fun reading it. I look forward to more of Natasha Moore's work!

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley. This is a short story with some bondage. Kelly was raised that sex was wrong. That it was for procreation only not enjoyment and kinky absolutely not. She has a hard time fighting the voices that tell her sex is wrong. Mason is the man who wants to change that. He arranged a Halloween scene that pushes her to her limits. I liked this book in that I loved Mason. There were a bit too many interruptions during the intimate moments though. I would have really enjoyed this story more if it was a little longer. However it is still an enjoyable read.

A fast but enjoyable read. This novella by Moore provides plenty of heat between Kelly and Mason. Kelly was raised to believe sex and kink of any kind is wrong, so when she gets nervous by her growing feelings for Mason she runs. Mason, however, is not ready to let her go. In fact, he forces her to confront her fears during a charity Halloween event. I would definitely look forward to a full length novel by Moore, since I wasn't quite ready for this one to end.

This story was short but sweet. It's about Kelly and the fears she has when it concerns her own sexual desires and BDSM. Mason scares her in a way because he's exposing her to new experiences. She's fighting against a lifetime of being told that sex other than vanilla is wrong. I liked it, not just for the wickedly hot scenes but because it touches a subject a lot of folks can relate to. Definitely worth the read just make sure you keep a fan nearby! :-p

"Bound to Submit," by Natasha Moore isn't very interesting but it does have some steamy moments. There wasn't enough story to hold my attention and there wasn't much depth to the characters.
