Inside this book you'll find dozens of screenshots and step-by-step instructions that walk you through the basic and advanced operations of your Kindle Fire HD. In as little as an hour, you can go from HD newbie to HD extraordinare!
In addition to teaching you the basic functions of your HD, Charles Tulley digs deep into the HD's advanced functions, showing you how to do things like view Adobe Flash content, edit photos on your HD, upload and watch movies and use the super-secret Swype keyboard (not even Amazon's official user guide tells you about this one)!
Here are just some of the things you'll learn in this amazing guide How to Disable Special Offers How to set up Bluetooth How to Perform USB Data Transfers How to use the super-secret Swype Keyboard How to view Adobe Flash content How to Side Load Apps How to Take Screenshots And Much more! ( This book was written for the USA's NEW Kindle Fire HD 6/7 and may not apply to other countries)
As a long time Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HDX owner I'm always amazed at the many things you can learn when you read these guides. Just when you think you know all the tricks you find out you don't. Mr Tully always teaches me something new. This is a great book for newbies and the experienced. Looking forward to getting my hands on the new 6" HD.
This is a very good guide to find out what your kindle fire HD can do. I found out about the photo editor and how make a picture of the screen, how to add documents to my Kindle.
This is a little technical manual on the title gadget. The gadget in question is a 7 inch tablet computer that Amazon is now selling for the amazing sum of just $50 dollars, hundreds less than all the other on the market at this time. I am quite pleased with the unit and am happily learning to use all the features of the device. I will be interested to see if other manufacturers decide to try competing with this amazing price point. I suspect the answer to that is no.
The info provided in the book is fine, but the table of contents is empty. So there is no way to backtrack or go to a different topic other than go page by page. That is so disappointing for a reference book. Other guides that I have for my fire hdx do not have this problem.
Very good guide for a new HD Fire/novice tablet owner. I found the content very helpful; not to mention, easily understood and not difficult to follow.
