Since the 1900’s, a dome stood overhead, watching and protecting New York. Now it traps its people leaving them to die.
For all of Forres Tanner’s life, she got her medicine the easy way and went through doctor after doctor. When Forres first wakes up, she’s greeted with amnesia and a challenge. With riddles as her only guide, Forres has only a couple days to get the medication she needs.
But there’s one more catch to her seemingly impossible mission.
I have never read a zombie story before, and while I love shows and movies about zombies I can't say that zombie books are something I could get into.
Taeya Adams did a wonderful job with her first novel. It's a good start to a series that (even though I just said I don't want to get into zombie books...) I look forward to continuing.
My rating for this book is more like 3.5 stars. I did enjoy the plot and I'm ready to find what happens next, but to me there where just too many characters to keep track of and I found myself getting a little lost. I did, however, really enjoy the endings message of unity. Sometimes I think an apocalypse is what are broken world needs.
I would recommend this book to any zombie lover (obviously).
Exciting, intense, and heart-wrenching. I had never read anything like this before. I wasn't sure if it would be something I could get into at first, but I quickly realized that it was definitely something I liked. It didn't take long for me to be unable to put the book down. Even if this isn't your type of thing, I strongly advise you to try it anyways. Trust me, "Earth" can and will surprise you. I await "Water" eagerly.
