There is a prequel story to this series: Queen of the Seas, featuring Kristine and Lesa. I understand it’s a free download direct from Lauren Hart. Because of this, it’s not on Goodreads, so I couldn’t review it here. But just for the record, it was a 5* 😊

Anna is a bit of an ice queen. She seduces women, and then lets them go. She is the queen of cybersecurity, and has built her own domain around her, becoming a consultant to big corporations, government agencies and countries alike. On this cruise she downplays that, especially when she is with Sawyer, because she doesn’t want Sawyer being another woman that wants her for what she can provide.
Sawyer is a musician, writing her own songs, and performing them in a soulful, unapologetically strong and romantic way. She catches and holds people’s attention with her music. She is also a strong person, not willing to be cowed by anybody. That includes in her interactions with Anna.
The first chapter is part description, part synopsis of the previous free novella, and also brief synopsis of Safari Seduction, a previous book by Lauren Hart, where we meet some of the same characters as in this story.
Sawyer is searching for her place in music, and on this cruise she not only finds her love, she also gets the boost she needs for her musical career. Anna is getting tired of having only conquests, and is looking for a special connection which she unexpectedly finds with Sawyer. In the past she could have a woman for a night, and then let them go. But with Sawyer she feels protective, and also jealous of the attention Sawyer gets because of her music.
There are some wonderful descriptions of the cruise; of the sunsets, the delicious food, of Sawyer’s music and how it affects people, of the beauty of the women on the cruise, and of the many places the cruise visits throughout the Mediterranean. One of my favourite quotes from this story is “a lavender panna cotta that trembled like a woman’s legs” 😄
The love scenes are beautiful writing; some are fast and furious, but most are slow and revering. One is especially memorable, being so soft, loving and gentle.
Overall, a warm, friendly story, romantic in all the right places, but also hot and steamy too.

Being yourself
Anna never expected to find a forever love on this cruise. She crosses paths with Sawyer the soulful guitarist working on the cruise. They make a great match and Anna is totally smitten. The heat between them is incredible And they both want to learn more about each other. I loved the story and can’t wait for the next one. I enjoy seeing so many of the characters from other stories too.

This is the first book in the new The Amore series. Based on this first entry, Lauren has another winning series on her hands. The setting is a boutique luxury cruise curated for wealthy sapphic women. This first entry is the pairing of a workaholic tech mogul and the singer songwriter hired to perform during the 3 week journey. Even though Anna and Sawyer meet at the beginning of the cruise and despite the difference in their social standings, they get a sense of who they each really are just as the reader is able to. The romance doesn't seem rushed or forced at all as they learn more about one another during excursions in beautiful settings. The story is another well written, age gap, quick read with a guaranteed happy ending. I highly recommend it. For those who've read Lauren's previous works, appearances by some of her other couples are a welcome treat. I'm looking forward to seeing more of her characters and established couples in subsequent releases from this series

This is the first book in the Amore Series but there is a prequel to the series called Queen of the Seas. Lauren released it for free as a bonus. Both books can be read alone but you do not want to miss it. Not only do characters from Queen of the Seas show up on the ship but several characters from Laurens other books do too. I love getting to see some of my favorites show up in other books. I was not sure I was going to like Anna, but she won my heart just like she did Sawyer’s. Their chemistry is instant and ridiculously hot. I cannot wait for the next book to be released. I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A beautiful love story between two strong and accomplished women, in the most luxury lesbian cruise ship, with many exciting adventures and steamy hot, no string attached sex scenes! It has age gap, rich girl poor girl, ice queen, one night to forever and friends to lovers all wrapped in one brilliantly written story. Despite workaholic multi millionaire Anna's cautious approach to finding true love and the soulful singer and artist Sawyer's self doubt and hesitation about the huge gaps between them, not only the age and wealth but also the vast different personal experiences, they fell hopelessly in love and find a way to be happy in the end! A feel good, heartwarming story that is sweet and moving!

After reading about Lesa and Kristine in the free book this time we get to see how Anna, Kristine’s bff, finds love in the high seas.
Sawyer is the guitar playing singer playing on the cruise ship and Anna is immediately smitten.
The destination descriptions are as delicious as the romance. There’s the usual humour and seduction in the book plus we get to catch up with Meredith and Kylie, Vanessa and Taylor, and finally Julia and Audrey from a very early book which makes this book even more appealing.

This is such a fun series! Power lesbians super cruises, what fun!
Lauren Hart has continued her five star Lesbian themed Power Cruises, this one in the Med. Since I have traveled that area several times, (not on a lesbian Power cruise) tho not at this level of cost, think it would be awesome. She has added to her love story wonderful sights and activities to dream about. This one involves Anna a cybersecurity goddess and Sawyer an indie singer song writer. It is a very hot, intense falling in love story. So well written, it practically sings to the reader.

This story is just perfect. Anna a womanizer who just conquers and then leaves the meets a soulful musician on a Lesbian only cruise, The Amore. Sawyer the musician is a strong woman who is fighting for her place in the music world. The attraction between the two is palpable from the beginning and Anna try to not be the serial womanizer that she is. The story has a very beautiful desprition of the scenery and the atmosphere, and the romance is just top notch.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I recommend it highly.

What a great start to a new series. Good to see characters from previous stories make an appearance on The Velvet Voyage. It's luxury cruising, with seriously successful, wealthy women on board. One such traveller being Anna, CEO of a cyber security company. Anna finds herself enchanted by the much younger Sawyer, who is on board to entertain the crowds with her soulful songs. Follow their story as the cruise travels from ort to port.

Sawyer’s voice and lyrics turn heads and forces people to listen. All she ever wanted was to sing her music and make people feel something. In walks Anna who feels something right away for this beautiful and young singer. Definitely some fantastically spicy scenes to devour. I also enjoyed the great side characters we met in previous books making an appearance as well.

Wow what a sizzler of a story I loved the main characters, the way that Lauren Hart has written it gives you a feel of their love and connection and it just pulls you in the story giving you front row seats its a swoon worthy book a must-read congratulations
