What really happened to Sathi’s mother – the mother she never knew?

Throughout her eighteen years, Sathi has carried the burden of her grief and guilt over the death of her own mother while giving birth to her. But then she starts investigating – and unearths hidden documents that suggest her mother did not die in childbirth after all. This shocking discovery sends Sathi to India, the land of her forefathers, on a trail which opens up a world of intrigue she had no idea existed. What secrets are her family keeping from her? What is she to make of the charming but infuriating Zakiy, who is not quite the simple young man he claims to be? And what really happened to her beloved Amma? This page-turner of a story from a talented young novelist is a wonderful read from start to finish. To be continued in the next instalment of the Prism of Truth trilogy, Doves in Flight

Sathi Varma (18, f) had the same dream for several days in a row. This time it was clearer to her.
She had found a mystery box in the father’s desk drawer, As Sathi pried on it, it flew open.
Madhubhala Varma (aka Amma, wife/mother, India descent, Hindu) had not died right after having Sathi.
Her father Nakul Varma had blamed her for Amma’s death.
Now Sathi was really confused & upset.
Sathi boarded a plane & was headed for Cochin, Kerala & then to the village of Nelliampathi.

An elderly man Manish informed Sathi; Madhubhala Kumar had once lived here. The sister, her husband & their 2 children still live here.
Later Manish cell phone rang!?
Next stop for Sathi Kollam.

Mr. Srinivasan Panickar (astrologer, MSc, Astronomy, Astrophysics) not much better information family from him.
Amma had been murdered. Why? By whom?
Sathi decided to stay in Nelliampathi. Where she eaten the lady owner decided to hire Sathi (assistant cook/waitress). Ravi was the only waiter. He was married & had a child on the way.
Sathi meets Zakiy Narayan (gatekeeper, Government Engineering College, Schizophrenia, OCD) & they become good friends.
Zakiy begins to help Sathi piece her family lies & history back together.
The 2 were now headed to Thiruvananthapuram (capital of Kerala).

Will Zakiy find the truth about her family?

My son has a lot of very close college friends from Sri Lanka. I am at ah about their culture. All of them are very successful. 1 is a corporate jet piolet & lives in Dubai. 2 live in Canada, & 1 in Michigan. 1 went back to Sri Lanka to be close to his family. 1 lives in Lawrence Ks. He is partners with another 1 in a business venture. Most live in Overland Park Ks, where he lives. There is a huge Western Indian population there.

I have a cousin Steven Parsons. Haven’t heard/seen him since I was 12.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A fairly well written could be a memoir book. It wasn’t always very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish (I call it cultural difference), but never a dull moment. There were several grammar/typo errors, but no repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great Western cultural memoir movie, or mini TV series. To be continued. I enjoyed it for the most part but I will have to rate it at 4/5 stars.

Thank you for the free Goodreads; Author; PDF book

Wolves Within is a great title I must add first and foremost! I went into this story with
excitement and I must admit that it made me feel a wealth of emotions as I read the main
characters were flawed and human. It shows that the human experience is universal and we
must face the challenges presented to us daily with strength and courageousness. I am glad
that I read this title it was a real pleasure.
