The Princess' Diary.

Rate this book
They have taken so many beautiful people from us. John Lennon, Gandhi, you only have to want good and peace in the world to anger the evil men who rule it. So it was with the Princess of the People. She was the one who they loved the most of all. Around the world she was known as the Queen of Hearts. But she tried to take on the powers that be; and she died for it.
Of course, she had her faults. She was a woman. Sometimes foolish, a bit crazy; always looking for the love that wasn't quite there. Such a beauty she had too, a great figure; along with a lovely soul; she had the but maybe too much because who could stand in that constant media spotlight and take it without flinching and falling apart? When you look at it that way she actually did well in spite of her loneliness and isolation.
They had to kill her; she was a threat to the Royal family, even maybe to the realm itself. But there is no justifying it, it was murder and they should have and could have found another way to deal with it. They, the royals, couldn't bear to see their power and wealth at threat. It's ugly at the top. But it was the diary she was going to publish that was the last straw; that would have brought them all to their knees; and I think they would have deserved it; the way they treated her throughout her life was terrible. Even after she passed away they didn't want to acknowledge her. It was a tragedy on many levels.
Down-to-earth. Intelligent. Able. Non-judgemental. Adored. Get it?
