Loved these as a child. Beautifully imagined world, swashbuckling adventure. Multiple authors for refreshing different writing styles. Scott Ciencin was one of my favorite of the multiple authors.

Entertaining, a little sad that the quest was manufactured though.

Nice simple adventure and the ending message was pretty nice. The characters of Joseph and Fleetfeet were enjoyable even if their competitive nature did get a bit annoying in a few parts and the middle did feel pointless.

A wonderful, fantastic series. The authors do a good job to keep their writing and voice congruous throughout the various books.

A coming of age story for a boy and a dinosaur. Reasonable, but not really one of the better Dinotopia books.

I read through this series of books on dinotopia as an interest in a lesson plan extension for higher elementary school grades, this was expanding the thematic unit i created for kindergarten...

The book surprised me a lot. Joseph is my favorite character because he always is thinking of different paths to go than Fleetfeet does.
