My estranged husband, Rich, is a habitual cheater. He says he has a problem with commitment because he’s messed up in the head. I’ve called him on it more than once. No one likes a liar, no matter how handsome he is. He says he wants me to have casual sex with another man to even the score. I don’t need his free pass. I can do bad by myself. I already have…I spend my days working at the diner and my nights in an adult chat room with a sexy stranger, keeping my body at a distance and my heart safe.
Rich’s biggest mistake didn’t occur when he stepped out on me. His undoing was inviting Trevor Stanley into our bed. Trevor is cocky, arrogant, and holds nothing back, but when he looks at me, I’m drawn to him like light is to dark. Pending my divorce, Trevor seems to think I’m fair game and leaves more than his sex-laced advances on the table. He’s way too tempting and doesn’t seem to think it matters that my soon-to-be ex-husband is his boss.
All I really want is a no-strings-attached fling. The opportunity comes when I receive an anonymous invite to the Hotel Beaudelaire’s exclusive Den of Sin Winterball. But every sin has a price…

This was an intriguing book...tho I don't necessarily agree with it at times. Although I did enjoy getting into something different from my usual reads. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
Rich and Camille seem to be the picture perfect couple on the surface but what lies beneath is unhappiness and the need to be fulfilled. In the process of trying to gather information on her adulterous husband the lines get blurred and Camille finds herself "tempted.” Trevor is Rich’s college friend and these two have shared a lot of things women among them. Camille just wants a break she is working, going to school and on top of that dealing with a man who will not let her go. Camille finds comfort in one of the member’s (TEMPTED 909) in her husband’s chat rooms Anya’s Maven. This is a very fast paced story and things unravel pretty quickly. One of the many things I love about this story is that it is told in layers. No one is a victim here. The text messages between Camille and her secret admirer are pretty steamy and heavy with sexual innuendos. With the lines being blurred and her husband suggesting she take a venture on his side. Camille’s emotions are all over the place. On one hand she still loves her husband but temptation wants to rule her. Trevor a man who she finds herself very physically attracted to evades her thoughts with just one look. Camille gets an invitation to the Beaudelaire Den Of Sin Winterball Masquerade from her secret admirer. And from here the story unravels pretty quickly all secrets are out in the open. Through a series of flashbacks the reader gets a breakdown on how and why each character are in the situations they are in now. Because this is a very short story I don’t want to give anything away but ladies bring a fan because things are about to heat up fairly quickly. I love how this story isn't cut and dry and addresses the gray areas dealing with the issue of infidelity it's more than just casually sleeping with someone. I do wish that as a reader we would have gotten to see more of the development between the characters. The epilogue does suggest that there is more of the story to be told. So hopefully we get to see some of Rich’s story and more on all the characters. I thought this was very enjoyable read. Very simple and straight to the point. I give this story 3.5 stars and would recommend it. Please judge this book for yourself and not based on this one review.

This was a Great Read... Although "Reckless Attraction" (Den of Sin) by Ambrielle Kirk was a different type of "Den of Sin" book, I still couldn't get enough of it. Don't think that I didn't enjoy it, because I did. I just wasn't use to being able to see into the everyday lives of the characters that I love to read about. No spoilers here, but initially, I hated Rich because of who he was and what he represented. I was leery of Trevor, hell I still am, but felt that he really wanted to be with Camille, but as the story went on, I felt that Trevor genuinely loved her as well. Reckless Attraction is definitely just that, an attraction that is dangerous yet fulfilling. The ending left me wanting more, especially after Rich received his invitation to visit the Beaudelaire. Great job of writing Ambrielle because I couldn't put the book down once I began to read it.
3.5 stars. Oh this was a steamy read! I thought the love scenes were very well-written. What I was a bit thrown off about was why this just wasn't made into a menage type novel. I would have been down for that and the relationship between the three main characters seemed to call for it to the point that the author included it..in a dream sequence lol Really? Oh well, I am not too sure about a man lusting after his best friend's wife and vice versa, but the way Rich is about sharing his woman with him, I guess it his case, it was okay. I guess the attraction and love between Camille and Trent was deeper? I have no idea. It was just like Trent was hungry for this woman from day one. Alas, I still enjoyed reading the dirty details of their so-called affair.
This was a love triangle that was never meant to be a menage. Sex addiction is real and they probably should have never gotten married. Both sides had unresolved things. He was addicted to sex in all its different aspects. She was strongly attracted to his best friend. The best friend had always been in love with her. It ends up well but throughout there was equal fault. Still not a good reason to cheat. He offered her up to another man without even asking her if she was okay with it. Good story with multiple epilogue which I am not sure was needed. The 4rth one was the better ending.
It is a good book. Camille finding out her husband was cheating on her really upset her. Plus Rich, wanted to keep his life style from college and Camille just didn't like it. Trevor was a friend of both of them but Rich didn't know that. I love reading Ambrielle Kirk's books, but something is missing in this book. It is just not as vibrant as her other books.
This book by Ms. Kirk was certainly an eye catcher. While the Den of Sin was a fantastic place. I got more fire and sparks from the main characters in the novel. If you are looking for that novel that will make you sweat, this one is it. Well done and congrats to you Ms. Kirk. on a must read addition to the Den of Sin.
3* Camille's Ex Husband rich was a cheater she found out by mistake. Rich try's to make it better by inviting Trevor his old school friend to dinner. Rich comes up with a proposition for them both will they accept? Trevor is quiet possessive and hasn't shared since college will he be tempted? I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is my first ready by this author and I'm not quite sure about this story. It had good premise with Rich being a sex addict but the whole thing with Camille starting the whole online thing with Trevor was weird. I understand it was a short novel but the substance wasn't there for the story to have moved as fast as it did and the four epilogues were uncessary
Absolutely Fantastic and so enjoyable, the characters are stunting with so much charisma. I really enjoyed every moment of reading this story. It has everything I enjoy about Ambrielle Kirk books it's passionate and sizzling hot with lots of drama and steamy romance.
This was a great, quick read. I was initially intrigued by the blurb and I'm glad I read it. There were plenty of hot scenes throughout the book and I'm definitely going to be checking out the rest other books in the series
I don't think Camille loved Rich at all. Her heart was aching for Trevor. But what got me was did she ever think Rich would change during their marriage. If he was like that when they met what made her think he would change for her? I wish there was more.
Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

After finding out her husband is a sex addict, our leads attempts to put the pieces of her life back together. Interesting read ...I lost interest and skimmed through the back but you may enjoy this lite read.
This is a fast paced read with plenty of drama. I liked the story as well as the characters well except for Rich. Looking forward to more in the series.
Enjoyable read with likeable characters but I am sure I have read this somewhere before. It is very familiar to me. A short sweet read that filled up an hour.
