It's been a long time since I've felt that I have a Hero and heroine who are sexually matched. Typically one has more than enough and the other not enough sexual experience. In Her Secret Pleasure Pippa was just sexually experienced as Judge. However the way each of their sexual past was presented was in no way gratituous. We didn't get any details of their past except that they had one. It was their actions during sex that spoke of experience but again...none of it was presented in a gratituous manner.
Judge was the alpha that we all love. He set his sights on Pippa and went after her. He claimed and protected her even when she wasn't sure if she wanted it from him. Plus, he put his feeling on the line first. I fully believe that he would love Pippa for the rest of his life - marriage or not.
Pippa I adored. She was the heroine we all want. Strong, sassy, independent, but knew when to let Judge lead and was no way presented as a bitch (sometimes the strong heroines come across as bitchy). She didn't immediately fall all over Judge and did put her a fight - her experience with bikers was not good...she didn't see or necessarily want anything beyond the night they initially shared. However, Judge was able to prove himself to her by words AND actions. She held her ground when needed and Judge was man enough to respect her in those times.
My only complaint is that I WANT MORE!! They have made appearances in each of Ella's future books but I need another one about just them! In all truth there really wasn't anything I disliked about the story or the characters. This book was completely safe.

In book one we got Grant and Chelsea's story now in book two we get Grant's dad Judge's story. Judge loved his wife Grant's mother and the she passed away when Grant was a boy, there have been woman but only woman to warm his bed . When a nomad and Judges friend comes to town asking for Judge to keep an eye on and protect his daughter Judge easily agrees. Judge already knows all about Pippa but what he knows most is that she will be his.
Pippa moved to town for a fresh start and a better life what she knew she wouldn't do again is get involved with a bad boy especially one in a MC. Growing up she knew all about MC's but especially that they leave just like her father who never stuck around. Finding a man she thinks is the exact opposite of her norm Pippa quickly learns the truth. And when she may be in danger Judge steps up to keep her safe.
Pipa can't deny the attraction but she knows Judge's type, and she refuses to get involved. Till the attraction is too much to deny, and when Pippa finally admits and gives a little Judge will be there to take it all and keep her safe and happy while doing. it.
I really liked Judge in book one so I was excited when I saw he would be book two's hero. I have to say this book was more than I expected and I liked book one. After reading book 1 I was looking forward to Judge's story and I was not disappointed. This book as well as book 1 are stand alones and can be read separately. However book 1 does give the reader background on Judge's son, who is referred to in book 2. The H is 15 years older than the h but the h projects maturity for her age. The focus of this book is more on the relationship between H/h than the MC but it includes a bevy of hot, alpha bad asses that I hope will get their own story. This is my second book by this author and I'm sure I will be reading more of her stories.

This was a short biker book but it was good. I hope the author starts writing longer books because I enjoy the way she writes.

This was a fast pace quick read for me.
Judge was asked to look over a friends kid in town well she isn't a child she's a 27 year old girl who has a sassy mouth and killer curves who just happened to be spotted with a dick head of a sheriff who is crooked so i enjoyed this a bad cop vs good Prez biker he was growly in charge but also let her lead in certain places.. now he's protecting her from this asshole cop she went out with (never slept with).
why i rated it low.. alot of push and pull from h and her dislike for bikers due to her pops who is one, and no epilogue :/
No ow mentions of om he stalkerish cop, no cheating, drama, slight secondary charas, sexy times, No virgins

So Pippa is the new local librarian who is trying to keep a clean sheet after gaining a bad reputation in her home town for being an easy lay.
Judge is the local MC prez who she is trying to avoid. Obvs they seem to have sex within minutes of meeting. So much for holding out Pippa!
This book was an OK read. I toyed with 3 stars. I think I rated it low really due to its length and because the whole MC genre is not quite on my wavelength.
Maybe that’s unfair but nowhere did I see that this was a novella. The storyline felt so quick that the characters never developed into people for me. I never felt like I knew them.
Pippa didn’t really feel like a librarian. She felt more like a porn star acting at being one. She was too hot! I wanted her to be a little more prim. I wanted Judge to coax her bad side out of her! Coooool! But yeah, he just taps the counter and her hotness dial cranks up to 11.
It was hot though. Let’s not forget that point. You want a quick hot biker fantasy read? You’ve hit the jackpot.
Personally, I think I need more push/pull. Judge just snaps his fingers and Ms Submissive comes running. I need more, just MORE.
But it was pretty hot. Did I mention that? This is basically a short erotic story with more sex than story. Which is great. I just wasn’t expecting it.
I think I also wanted it to feel a little more modern and a bit less of a cliche. Judge just basically rides in and ‘saves’ Pippa which is not really my thing. I prefer a bit more sass and a woman who is more capable of saving herself.
Plus the fight scene at the end felt a bit wrong to me.

Pippa is rebuilding her life, having grown up in a small town with a nomad biker as a father she has lived with a reputation she can never put behind her. When Pippa gets an offer to move to another town far away and be the head librarian she jumps on it. Pippa has a plan in place, no bad boys, have a great reputation, and live happily. Pippa catches the eye of the Chief of Police and president of the Death lords MC judge.
Judge knows Pippa is going to be his, however the feisty woman doesn't want to listen to him. Perfectly okay with Judge as he has better ways to tame the redhead. however he needs to get the crooked police officer to drop his interest first.
Fun story, had a bit of an abrupt end to it though. Judge is quite the alpha male. Had some funny moments and a lot of steamy scenes.

What a great surprise this book was for me. Even though it was short ~ about 89 pages ~ it packed enough HEAT for a much longer book. This is my first book from Ella Goode and I'm hooked.
There was so much steam coming off of Judge and Pippa (love that name!!) that I almost had to put my Kindle Fire in the freezer!! lol Judge was such a dirty talker ~ my favorite kind. ;) Pippa was sweet but she was able to hold her own with Judge.
I'm so interested in the other characters that I cannot wait to read their books as well. Wrecker and Chelsea along with Easy, Michigan, and Annie. Their books sound so good and I'm hoping that Ella will give Judge and Pippa more books as well considering these other characters have more than one book.

I really enjoyed this book and liked how possessive the H was of the h. He was also protective and the hot sex scenes weren't bad either. I wish I could read the other books but I don't like menage couples.

I got this book as review copy. And this is my first one by this author. This is a second book in Death Lords MC series. But you can read as standalone.
As a short story it was pretty good. Pippa comes into town as new librarian. Trying to start a new life because in her birth one goes a little south when people makes her "pay" for her young wilde days. She tries date local chief Schmidt. But she soon stops answering his call after her gut tells her that he is hiding behind his polite and gentleman mask. He isn't the only one who got interested in Pippa. Local Prez of Death Lords MC, Judge got interest in her after seeing her breeze into town and he just knows that she belongs in his bed.
I liked Judge. Hes bossy, bold, wicked but also considerate, caring, respectful and funny. I liked that he goes after what he wants. That was something new because most of the time guys tries to fight their feelings of f*ck them out of their heads with some sweet butt. Not happening this here. And that made me happy.
Pippa is sweet, cheerful with a backbone. Thats means while she loves to be submisive in the badroom, out of it Pippa takes no sh*t from anyone. Which is one of the things, Judge, enjoys and likes about her.
There is some things going down with a little action. But if you wanna know more, you just have to go and get a copy.
If you like short catchy and good time spending story with some bossy hot bikers thrown in the mix...This story is for you.

I just finished Her Secret Pleasure and I liked it. This is the 2nd in the series and can be read as a stand alone. This is Judge's story. He is the president of the Death Lords MC and he has been asked by Chuck, a nomad to watch after his daughter Pippa. She is new in town and has been seen with the Chief of Police (Not a nice man). He agrees not just because of Chuck asking but because he wants her. It is instant attraction between the two but both are stubborn and plus Pippa is trying to be a good girl and not go after the bad boys but she doesnt want the Chief either. He is not liking Judge one up him in his town. You just gotta read to see what happens.
I really liked the story. I thought it had a good plot to it, the whole bad cop/good biker deal to it kept me interested. I really liked the characters, very versatile and even the secondary characters brought alot to the table. Its a quick yet sexy read that will keep you entertained and wanting more!

Pippa Lang is a Librarian with a not so demure past but she wants to just have a nice quiet life in the small town where the Death Lords rule. Judge is the president of the MC. And he has his eyes set on her. But there's an apparent villain in the picture and it's the crooked Chief of Police who's sore about losing the hot librarian to the MC Prez.
Hurray for middle-aged, hot Biker-DILF. Expect lots of possessive gestures, manly growling and lots of hot, hot sexytimes.

What a surprise! This is the second book I have read by this author and in this new series of hot MC novellas. This one about Judge, the MC pres, and Pippa, the new librarian in town, is well written, sexy, and filled with hot alpha MC guys. This series is meant to be short and hot, and that is exactly what this book is.
This is one.of my favs from all the books in the overall series with all three authors.

3.5 RATING-I was surprised by how much I liked this little biker/MC novella I came across. I figured it would be nothing more than an average piece of biker fluff, the same I'd been running through for days, trying to find a decent read. While it's not going to be anyone's next epic read, it was short, sexy, and the writing was good. A guilty pleasure novella worth a read. Available to borrow through Kindle Unlimited.

Older man, younger, female done right! Holy hotness batman, hold on to your panties, and keep something cool to drink handy, because you'll need it. Judge and Pippa burned up the page. The chemistry between them was amazing, and i loved the meeting of their souls. Ms. Goode always amazing me with her ability to make a short feel like a full novel.

Hot, hot, hot! Did I mention this was hot? Loved Judge & Pippa's story. Judge knows what he wants & goes straight for it, no hesitation, but he's also gentle, loving and considerate. What women wouldn't be bowled over? Pippa's response to him is well written - she's careful & thoughtful at first, but he's just too much to resist. Read this 2nd Death Lords MC, it's good.

I wasn't too ecstatic about this one this after I finished reading it.
Honestly, from reading the synopsis I thought I'd really love this one!
Older male, younger female.

The heroine seems to make the hero actually work for her...
But there just seemed to be things missing for me in this one. Did I feel the sexual chemistry between these two? Oh yeah. But really that's probably all I felt between them.
What I did like was that Judge didn't just steamroll over Pippa and her feelings. He understood her not wanting to get any kind of reputation or feed the gossip mill, especially since she's lived through these kind of things before.
I did read these out of order, so I'm going to have to go and read the first one to understand more about the relationship between Wrecker and Chelsea as well as how the relationship with Judge and Chelsea's mom worked...
