Modern day criminals sometimes evade law enforcement and the judicial system using high-priced attorneys who compromise justice by turning evildoers into victims of the failings of our society.
The Council of Five, however, was old school. Justice was not for sale. Neither was it compromised. Right and wrong were not vacillating principles which could be re-tooled to fit new circumstances. Council justice is more pure than that which is doled out by today’s courts. Once the Council acts, there is no plea bargaining, no “quid pro quo,” no “nolo contendere.” Justice is swift, untainted, and final.

This is a great sequel! The Council of Five, made up of an FBI agent, a judge, a physician, a Navy SEAL, and a computer programmer, come together to serve justice to those people in society who seem to be above the law. In this book, the Council gives Reverend Hartsell of Rapture Ministries a taste of his own medicine. I hope to see the Council in another book soon!
