Federico Cipriano has everything going for him….he has charm and flair as well as being the owner of his own landscaping business. Plus the fact that his good looks has gotten him with many women in town. But there seem to be one who is playing hard to get and she’s the one he desires the most out of all…..Michelle Bordeaux.
Michelle Bordeaux came with her parents to open up Le Jardin Des Cygnes in Kellington, on the knowledge that she would return back to Arizona after a year, so she could get back with the man she loves. But there has been something, well actually someone who has been nothing more than a thorn in her side since the first time he laid eyes on her….Federico Cipriano.
He wants her as a conquest…..but soon he realizes that he wants more.
She wants nothing to do with him…..but why does she find herself unable to get him off her mind?
What happens when these two absolutely different people go head to head with one another?
Plenty of laughs as well as tons of sparks.
Also see what happens with Renzo & Jaslyn, Simone & Delia along with Gianni, Maiara and Fiona in the last book of the Cipriano of Kellington series.
Jamallah Bergman first started to write small stories when she was around 13. It wasn't until she was around 15 when she started to write about romance after she read her first romantic novel. It wasn't until she got older when she started to write erotica as well.
Jamallah writes about heroines who are full figured women since the fact that whenever she would read some of the stories she liked so much, she always wondered why there weren't many women like herself as the main character. So she started to write about heroines such as herself, full figured women who only wanted to be loved and show their love to the right man.
In Ms. Bergman's spare time when she isn't writing, she enjoys cooking and collecting cookbooks as well as Cobalt Blue Glass items.
She resides in Atlanta Georgia with her teenage daughter who is very artistic as well and loves draw and make little movies as well.
Federico, Book 4 in the Ciprianos of Kellington Series, by Jamallah Bergman, lived up to the promise of a great story set up by the first three books in the series. I must state here that while this book can be read as a stand-alone novel, the reader will get greater enjoyment and understanding if they read it as part of the series and in order. Much of what is contained in this story has background in the other three books and might not make sense, or seem very out of context, if one has not read the other books.
When the relationship between Michelle and Federico was started in book three, Gianni, one could tell that it would be a fiery one. Even if you have not read that story, from the start of this book, Ms. Bergman sets that stage for a tumultuous pairing between these two.
Federico is the last of the Cipriano brothers to get involved in a serious relationship. Michelle is a Black French woman who only intended to stay in Kellington for one year to help her parents with their French restaurant. She hopes to one day open her own French restaurant. Federico is a landscaper who has built his company up from scratch. While he is known as a player that gets what he wants, she is a more cautious woman that doesn’t like to be played. The development and final culmination of their relationship was great to read. I recommend this series to everyone. It is light reading, with enough drama to keep you engaged.
SPOILER ALERT: I must state that since Federico was the last of the brothers to become attached and the way this book tied together MANY of the story lines from the first three books, I thought this was the end of the series. But upon reading the post-script added at the end of the story Ms. Bergman promises there will be at least one more book to truly wrap it all up! YAY!
