Brilliant illustrations aimed at young children, with a very child friendly plot. Ideal bedtime story for parents or a story to have in book areas in early years classrooms. Although I personally wouldn’t use it as a shared reading story as I think it might have limited opportunities.

The vibrant illustrations brings about a sense of wonder in young ones. The children enjoyed the book tremendously and have asked for it to be read over and over again.

I picked this up today at the library to read to my baby. He loved looking at the lovely pictures, which are colourful and very detailed, and really enjoyed the rhyming. It’s a very sweet story.
