A story of a French girl losing her virginity to a Special Operations American soldier who's hot as hell, crazy as sin, and wild as the devil himself.

Giselle's life in France was uncomplicated until her American father, whom she always wanted to meet but never did, died. Now Giselle is coming to the United States to meet her flamboyant grandmother. Growing up in France, America was what Giselle and her friends saw in the movies. Experiencing it first hand, however, is a whole new reality.

Still, Giselle wants to give her new life in America a chance, but as soon as she thinks her life cannot get any more complicated, she finds herself hooked on Hunter, a 25-year-old former Navy SEAL. Hunter takes Giselle on a wild roller coaster ride as he shows her a face of love that is raw, exciting, carnal, and all-consuming. Giselle's American love story is anything but normal, but so is her new family, insanely crazy best friend at school, and her new life.

I backed off as soon as I saw his flashing eyes. Those weren't the mesmerizing blue eyes I could get lost in before. These were the eyes of a man so angry, he could kill me just by looking at me.
"I told myself a hundred times I would never touch you. But you're so fucked up in the head, you leave me no option." His voice was hoarse and furious, it was the only thing I could concentrate on. He threw me over his shoulder, and before I could protest and call him another name, he took me to my bedroom, shut the door and pinned me against it. He quickly pulled both of my arms behind my back and kept me immobilized with his one hand. I was still angry and I jerked my head from side to side. He clasped my face with his other hand and pressed my cheeks in, mangling my lips outward. He was still fuming and was about to say something but stopped himself when I let out a faint cry. He let go of my face and breathed out a few times. "You want me to stop?" He whispered and, for a short moment, I thought I should say 'yes'. I shook my head 'no' instead.

I was born in the Czech Republic where I spent my teenage years goofing off, singing in a band, studying several foreign languages, scouring ancient crypts and medieval buildings, dreaming about faraway places, and writing stories and book ideas in a journal no one had ever seen.

I couldn't help myself and included one of those spectacular, secret underground crypts as a setting for some of the chapters of my debut young adult novel, Bring Me Back.

In my early twenties, I moved to the United States and have worked hard ever since to fulfill every dream I had as a teen. One of those dreams was to write until all of the stories worth telling made it to their readers. I am still keeping my journal, which is why I will never stop writing.

A graduated from Bentley University with a BA and an MBA. I live with my husband, two teenage daughters, a cat, and a dog in Atlanta, Georgia.

Of course I love the book, why would I write something I don't love? That's why I'd rather include an editorial review by Lisa Blackstone, a great erotica author. Here it is:

“Recklessly Yours” does a great job making its choices: the author gives us a main character with a long preserved virginity, a conversational tone in the writing, a sustained sexual tension that runs through much of the book as the characters define their roles and a maturational process that we suffer through but ends as it should. The characters are well-described and memorable and their actions command the reader's attention. An erotic novel can't just be about sex. It has to have a story. This one has a fine story and has some very fine sex scenes. A definite for the Kindle ~ Lisa Blackstone~ Bestselling author of erotic bestseller “The Guest”.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. For one thing, I don't really know if I like the style it's written in, Giselle is maddening with her naivety, and Hunter is a brute who thinks with his dick.
The very first time she has sex, all I could think was, "this is rape." She's scared, doesn't want it, and yet he tells her, "Hush baby, it doesn't have to hurt." I had so many problems with this book, but at the same time, I was hooked! I hated to keep reading, but I couldn't stop myself. By the time I finished, I threw the book against the wall and screamed! I was so frustrated with how it ended; I need more! I need to know what happens to the characters, because as much as I hated them, I grew to care for them. I want to say that Giselle and Hunter's relationship was all types of wrong, but I need to see more. It's like a roller coaster you know is going to crash; a ship you get on, knowing it's going to sink. Every moment you see the characters together, you know it can only fail, but the whole time you're hoping it doesn't. You want them to be able to save each other, and you want to know what was holding them back. Maybe I read too much into the tension between the two, but I felt like there was always something off whenever things got intense. To me, it felt like a sick game that no one could win.

If there's a sequel, I want it. I know things won't progress the way I want them to, but like a horrifying car crash, I can't look away!

I so loved this book. Cover has to go. The story is cute. I loved Giselle character. She up was hysterical and amusing. The story takes place in France where Giselle is seventeen and thinks she's ready to give up her virginity but freaked out. She was so funny that I couldn't put the book down. She was so embarrassed and wanted to never to go back to school. Then her father American family wanted to meet her. She goes to New York thinking NY is like the movies. Her grandmother rent an apartment out to a sexy Navy Seal, Hunter. I really want to read the next book. I wasn't sure where the ending was going but bring the Kleenex. Highly recommend this story.

This book was funny, and sad, and sexy as he'll. Giselle and hunter were great characters, and a pleasure to read. Although it ended differently it was a great read! I also loved the characters Eunice and Misty ( grandma) they were hilarious but so loving and caring. I hope there is a second one that leads off where this one left off. I can't wait to read what is next from Yveta Germano in this series. I am so glad I won this book in the GR contest!!

I loved the book. I hate the cover. The cover, although it is very sexy, makes it seem like sex is all there is to it. I found the content funny as we follow the main character, Giselle, from her simple French upbringings to America to meet her paternal grandmother. Her grandmother and her grandmother's maid are a hoot and add a comical element to the story. I don't think it's a 'must read', but you will not be disappointed.

Great first novel

Yveta did a great job in her debut novel. I had a hard time with the young age of the H but it does fit in well with the story. Just a few issues with editing but it was nothing that took away from the story.
