Markus and Kristen were taken by the “special” brother Dorian. Dorian drugs Kristen to keep her at ease and for not to know where she is going. Kristen is awake….and Lisa is there with her. I don’t know how much I could stay mentally stable to be kidnapped a few types especially by the same person. She doesn’t even know if Markus is still alive. But Kristen is so determined to get back to her boo Markus that they both come up with the plan to escape.
Of course the plan failed. Kristen is caught again but this time by Dorian’s half-brother Kincaid. Before she is captured, she pushes Lisa to continue running to find the Lycan camp and get help. I feel so bad for her. But she is a strong werewoman!!
Kristen is brought back to the Vlodik’s camp where Quinn is the leader. He is definitely a nut case! She also meets the sister who is different from her brothers. Kristen must be amazing and captivating because three brothers would love to have her as a mate: Markus who have her heart, Dorian who wants her heart and Kincaid who lust after her heart.
When Dorian’s real mother dies of which was mated to Quinn, he makes a decision that brings us all to a breathing stop for a second: he decides that he will have Kristen for himself to mate. Oh NO!!!!!
The sister realizes that her family is “special” and she helps Kristen escape. This time she is determined to make it back to her man Markus.
I wonder what is to come to finish off this series. I didn’t add quite a few things but this is a really good read. I would recommend it but this series should be read from the beginning.

When Kristen wakes up at the Vlodik’s camp, she finds out Lisa is there as well. She had been kidnapped while out for a run. While Kristen has no idea what has become of Markus, her and Lisa hatch a plan to escape. When Kristen is caught by a trap, she is returned back to the Vlodik’s camp by Kincaid, Dorian’s half-brother. Can Kristen ever get away? Will the Lycan camp send help if Lisa reaches them? Will Kristen ever find out what happened to Markus, if he is still alive?
I have to say Kristen is my new favorite heroine, she never gives up, uses her head and tries to help others when she can all the while dealing with her own fears and insecurities. She is one tough woman, well werewoman now. Dorian cannot seem to let go his ego that Kristen choose Markus in the end. He has some serious issues when it comes to needing power.
I have to say I am really curious as to where this author is going with the story, but I am loving it so far! I definitely recommend this book! I will say get the first couple so you know what is going on in the story.

WOW....Kate has done it again, A story that draws you in and you want to help so bad, BUT it is a book and you can't. Kirsten is just a wonderful character, I feel so sorry for her. But anyone would be proud to be her. The book makes you start asking questions like: Will Lisa get back to Lycan camp ? Will they come help? Will they be in time? From book 4 we still ask is Kristen pregnant ? What will Quinn do to her if she is and he finds out? I really can't wait till book 6 comes out cause it is the final book.Kirsten love Markus, in#4 she was torn away from him.... he was hurt, she does not know even if he lives though most of the book. If Lisa gets back to the Lycan camp and finds Markus he will go to try to get Kirsten because he loves her. But will his Lycan tribe go to help? Any book that leaves me asking question so much I won't want to wait for the next book, is a really good book..Book #1 is free, then #2,3,4,5 are .99. But this story has kept me from being able to put each down till I could finish it.

Kristen was captured by the Vlodik and now must find a way to escape, but simply surviving just might be most important as she still hasn't had a chance to see if she is or isn't pregnant. Kristen has always been true to herself doing whatever it takes to survive and live a life free to do as she wants.
She is tough and fiesty and she'll never compromise her spirit just because others want her to. She is smart and sassy seeing things as others usually wouln't and it has helped her through all her troubles.
She hasn't gotten a break throughout the series so now that we're so close to the conclusion I can't wait to see how it ends!

I was gifted this novella for an honest review by author Kate Kent. This is part 5 and it is best to read in order.
Kristen and Markus have been taken by Dorian but only Kristen is at the compound of the Voldiks. She is trying to get to a point where she can get free but after several attempts Quinn,leader of the Voldiks, has had enough and makes a surprise announcement to the clan.
The author gives you action and drama in this read and she always has the characters interaction compelling with each other. The flow is great from start to finish.
This is for any paranormal romance book lover. The author has a hit with this book and series.

Getting Better!
Well this story is certainly getting very intriguing, better and better.
Quinn has plans that no one counted on, will Dorian finally see the error of his decision and will Marcus and the Lycan come to Kristen's rescue before Quinn can carry out his plan?
So much intrigue, I really want to know what will happen, so hurry up with Part 6 Ms. Kent
I love this series, never looked forward to the next Part like with this one and what's great is that Ms Kent doesn't make you wait long.....Thank you!

The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because I don't believe that so many men are ready to kill each other for a woman. I doubt that would happen for the most beautiful woman on earth and I am tired of everyone lusting after Kristen.
As I had predicted Kristen still doesn't know if she is pregnant. And what's up with all the sex dreams? What I also didn't like was Kristen's realization that she loves Marcus. They haven't said the I love yous and there is a chance that they are going to parents. WTF people.

Part 5 starts exactly where part 4 ends. So Kristen was kidnapped by Dorian and is being held prisoner. She doesn't know what happened to Markus or even if he is still alive. We also catch up with a character from previous book.
I like the development in the story, I can feel Kristen's anguish and fear. Again this book ended with a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read next part.

The lovers are together only in Kristen's drugged dreams. Where are the Caleb and Lycan wolf tribe to rescue Kristen. Ms Kent has created wonderful characters in a fast moving plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Episode six is downloaded and ready.

Escaping
Kristen keeps trying to escape the Vlodiks both physically and mentally. Lots of remembered and fantasized sex with Kristen and Markus going on. Kristen meets the naive half-sister to Dorian and Daughter to Vlodiks pack leader. Tensions are rising and her fate is unknown. Well written and very entertaining to read.

4 Solid Star read. Part of Kindle Unlimited. The story continues in part 5 out of 6 books. It is a cliffhanger and man does it leave it leave you hanging. It has many twist and turns and I cannot wait to see where the story finally takes the main characters. Werewolf shifter - good clan and bad clan.

Kristen is now being held captive by the Vlodik clan, and the three brothers fighting for her, after her many escape attempts, Quinn, the Alpha of the Vlodik's make a decision that will control her.
I must admit I'm am left wondering how Kristen can escape from this, although I have my ideas, and I hope they're right

Stuck In The Middle

I didn't like this part as much as the previous ones. I found the dream sequences long and hard to read since they where all in italics. The big fight scene got cut way too short. Maybe just a couple of paragraphs.

Well didn't see that coming. Quinn, huh...gross. There was no sex, per say, in this book, but there was a few dreams that were vivid
