I received a copy from the author for my honest review.

Tisha Ariel Nikkole aka TANK is at it again. She's taken off her entertainment journalism hat and put on a investigating journalist hat. Her new job has dangers her old one didn't and the story she's investigating is on human trafficking. After breaking up with Shout, moving to D.C. & starting a new career she's focused on making a difference.
Shout a reconnected with his dad and the groupies he left alone in the past. Shaking my head. Tisha is on his mind and he's trying to find her even as he reverts back to old ways.
Juicy is back after shooting Jordan and she's met a sexy benefactor who rescued her from death.
Every Tisha Ariel Nikkole book is good and picks up from the last. While each has its own unique storyline. Tisha and Shout have become friends I haven't seen recently that I can't wait to catch up with.

This is not only fast paced, but well paced as well, among long scenes with conflicts, there are short excerpts of Tisha's and Shout's work respectively, giving the reader a glimpse of what makes them special.

While Tisha and Shout's story are the main love story in the book, we also have Boom, Sydney, Jordan and Juicy. This book gives the low down on the cutthroat world of music industry, and nothing is what it seems.

The book is riddled with insecurities, particularly Shout's since he has been a victim of several fraud: women trying to have his babies. Tisha's world is rocked when she meets Shout for real, courtesy of their mutual friend and PR guy Boom.

Overall, love the grandness of it all, I wouldn't be surprised if Shout is real, and that is good. Some messages are good: do not judge a rapper by the cover of a gossip magazine, always check for truth, stand for what you believe in. But bullying is a no- no and might get you in big trouble, like Jordan.

As I have mentioned in other reviews of Ms. Shiraz's work, she knows how to tell a story that keeps you, not only interested but guessing. Devious was no different. This book was absolutely amazing. We finally get to see just what kind of person Shout's pop is, we knew he was no good, we just didn't know how deep it ran. There is some type of closure to the Jordan murder, but it won't be what you expect. It's so much better than what I expected. As I was reading, I had a lot of "didn't see that coming" moments. I was hoping for a happy ending for Shout and Tisha, but I was not disappointed with the ending. Can you say bombshell at the end??? I can' t wait for the next installment to see how it all plays out.

Devious Indeed"..

Traumatized by the turmoil surrounding Shout and his rap career Tisha flees her former fiance and starts anew in Washington DC working as an investigative reporter for the Federal Government. However her new position thrusts her right back towards Shout when she's assigned to a trafficking case involving underage girls that has ties to Shout's newly opened night club. Convinced that the man she planned on marrying couldn't be involved in such shady dealings Tisha is willing to jeaporadize her life to prove his innocence.

Disheartened by Tisha's disappearance Shout tries to focus on his career but can't until he gets some answers from the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. With both Shout and Tisha seeking out each other for different reasons the eventual reunion is complicated at best. Complications that will leave readers wondering will Shout and Tisha ever reconcile.

Yasmin Shiraz does an excellent job revitalizing her former characters with a new plot that goes deeper then the will they or won't they storyline. Sub plots featuring Juicy, Santana and Jordan's brother Eli all assist the novel in moving forward. Devious lives up to its title with an ending that was rather perplexing to put it mildly. I'm unsure as to just how I want Tisha and Shout's story to end but I'm thoroughly invested to the whatever ending Yasmin delivers.

Its Not Over Yet

Looking for twist, secrets, drama, lie, and murder. Devious is the book to read its the third book in the Tisha Ariel Nikkole but if you don't read the others book, this one will have you wanting to know what the hell. Characters you love to hate, want to strangle, and feel sorry for. I can't wait till the next installment, Tisha Ariel Nikkole King , AKA "Tank" is not the lady to be dishonored.

The action continued in part 3, Devious, as Tisha found herself in the midst of a dangerous situation while trying to serve justice. I felt even though Tisha & Shout continued to have love for each other, they had a problem coming together on 1 accord. This novel, like the previous 2, was well written & a great reading page turner.
