I’m smart. I’m brave. And I’ve spent my entire life studying how my father ruled our Irish clan. He’s dead now, and it’s my turn to take control.
There’s just one I’m a woman, and two men think their claims beat mine.
Make that two A savage enforcer won’t leave my side. I’m not sure if he wants to bed me, rescue me, or bend me to his will. He’s old enough to be my da, and when he treats me like his little girl, I forget everything I’m fighting for.
How much must I give up to win the throne I crave?

Alix Key was born in Potomac, Maryland, where she grew up making her twin brother and all her dolls act out her favorite fairytales. When an all-grown-up Alix discovered that very real dangers lurk in the woods, she figured out how to rescue herself. She now lives outside Dover, Delaware with her own Prince Charming. When not writing dark romance, Alix serves as the Chief Operations Officer of Diamond Freeport.
If you’re a fan of the Irish Mob trilogy, like me, you probably found yourself wondering what became of Fiona Ingram when her plans in Philadelphia went awry. Fiona was far too captivating a character to be left in the shadows, so imagine my excitement when this new series emerged, centering on Fiona and the gritty world of the Boston Irish mob. There’s one thing you can say about Fiona: she’s got enough self-confidence to fuel a small country, though that often leads her to make impulsive decisions that land her in hot water. Naïve as it may seem, she truly believed she could just waltz in and take over her father’s organization. Unfortunately, her Uncle Aran was more than happy to disabuse her of that notion—and he wasn’t about to let a woman run the show, no matter how formidable she might be. Enter Patrick Moran, the dark horse no one saw coming. From the moment he found Fiona beaten and bloodied after a run-in with Braiden’s brother, Madden, he felt a fierce and unexpected urge to protect her. What started as a quick escort job to Boston quickly turned into something deeper. With each glimpse of Fiona’s fiery spirit and unshakeable determination, Patrick kept finding reasons to stick around. Patrick’s neurodivergence added such a fascinating layer to the story. Watching how he navigated his challenges and how Fiona had this calming effect on the “squirrels” in his head was absolutely compelling. At the same time, Patrick offered Fiona a much-needed anchor in her chaotic life, a safe harbor amid all the power plays and blood feuds. The delicious age gap between them only added to the tension, especially the first time Fiona called him Daddy. That dynamic brought a whole new layer of heat to their relationship, giving Fiona a rare chance to let go in the bedroom, even as she stayed icy and ruthless everywhere else. Their partnership was electric—Fiona and Patrick working together to take down Uncle Aran was nothing short of exhilarating. But just when you think they’ve won the battle, a new adversary emerges, throwing everything back into chaos. Fiona’s quest to seize control of the Boston crew is far from over, and I am absolutely hooked. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Her Irish Savage is absolutely suspenseful and a page turning Irish mafia romance. The story is captivating from beginning to end, entertaining and an enjoyable read. The novel follows the adventures of Fiona and Patrick. The characters are fantastically written and phenomenally executed throughout the story. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniably irresistible and smoking hot. I adored getting to know both Fiona and Patrick as well as seeing their journey unfolding throughout the book. If you’re looking for an Irish mafia romance to read, then you should checkout and give Her Irish Savage a read. Her Irish Savage is fantastically written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Alix Key. She continues to showcase what an incredible author she is with each novel I’ve read by her thus far. I’m looking forward to reading more phenomenal romances from this author in the future.

This book is so damn good! The age gap is delicious, as is the neurodivergent representation, and the accidental unlocking of a new kink for the both of them - D/lg. It happens so organically, and I thought it was, well, hot. If you read the Irish Brute series, you've been introduced to our 2 main characters, Fiona and Patrick. She's the super competent daughter of the Boston Chief of the Irish mob, while he's the Warlord of the Philadelphia branch of the Irish Mob. She's young and can be impetuous, while he's been around for a while and becomes her teacher. You don't need to read the Irish Brute series to read this new series, but there are overlapping timelines, and some things that happen are given more detail in the first three books. This book is fantastic. I couldn't stop reading and really fell in love with the characters. 5 Chili Peppers for spice! I love Ms. Key's writing and eagerly await another trip to this universe.
Fiona finds out that her Da has passed on and now she needs to get back home to head her clan but there is a few surprises waiting for her.First she has to regroup and rest from the beating that she got from her so call boy friend Madden Kelly, she is so bad that she calls his brother to come get her but he sends his enforcer Patrick Monan.By the time she is heal, she needs to get back to Philly to take her place ,but she is met with push backs and delays, she finds her uncle at the head of the table where she should set.The longer they are together, the more Patrick has to save Fiona from being killed. This story is full of surprises, jealousy and hatred. Patrick does fine payback or some peace for the deaths of his father,ma,his wife and unborn son.Fiona feels that her uncle did get his just desserts! Can't wait for book two.
Diamond Ring Boston Mob series book 1 is Her Irish Savage. Fiona Ingram and Patrick Moran are perfectly matched. Daughter of the Head of the Irish Mob in Boston, Fiona learned at an early age how heartless and cruel the lifestyle could be. Because of that she became a force to be reckoned with in her own right. Patrick is in with the Philadelphia Irish Mob and he has his work cut out for him with Fiona. These two are explosive together, it's yet to be determined if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Book 2, Her Irish Protector, picks up their story for the next part of their journey in this trilogy. I can't wait for what's to come with these characters!
I am enjoying this series, this book was enjoyable and I was able to read it in a decent amount of time. I again wish the transitiona between chapters / scenes were smoother and better written but the storyline is well planned and it's spice is about a 3 out of 10. I wish there were more spicey scenes and more details to the whole thing. Worth a read though!
This was a great read. I was really into the book. Each page made me want more and keep reading. It was hard to put down. It is a must read. I don't want to give anything away so you will have to read it. I know you will agree with my review. 5 stars. I would read from this author again.

This is the first book in the Diamond Ring Boston Mob trilogy. It’s a very good age-gap, Irish mafia romance. Patrick and Fiona are a great couple. The plot is interesting, entertaining and HOT! Lots of action and drama. I enjoyed it and found it hard to put down. Excellent series starter
I really enjoyed this - great characters and I enjoyed the premise. I found reading a previous series also helped with context but not ncessary, works without. A great read.

What's not to love about a HOT AF Irish enforcer for the Irish Philly Mob who falls apart when the SEXY AF Daughter of the Irish Mob in Boston calls him Daddy? These two are explosive together. Fiona and Patrick are two characters I absolutely love. I need book 2 like yesterday.
I love me a good, slightly dirty, mafia romance especially if it includes families other than Italians Don't ask me why. This one was well written and kept me up way too late.

While the beginning of Her Irish Savage made me incredibly mad, as I'm assuming it was designed it, I loved Patrick! I liked how thoughtful he was and now I'm eagerly waiting for the next book.

This book wasn't for me, I made it through the first few pages. I just don't like it when the heroin uses her sexuality to seduce men, trashy. She doesn't have to be an innocent virgin but I don't like it when she's an alley cat.
I really didn’t like Fiona’s character in The Irish Mob Trilogy of Samantha & Braiden’s story. But as I started to read it I found I started to quite liked her. Her struggles to claim her mob because she’s a woman & the relationship between Irish mob enforcer Patrick that protects her! Will definitely be reading the series.
