Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

Three years after the tragic accident that claimed the life of her brother Harry, Cassidy Evans is still struggling. Determined to focus on her career as an artistic consultant in London; when Cassidy lands the commission of a lifetime she has no choice but to dive in head first. There is only one very tall, very beautiful, man-shaped problem. Her attraction to her new client Rory O’Malley is proving impossible to ignore. Cassidy finds herself falling for Rory and for once she allows herself to be carried away by the prospect of true love. Rory seems almost too good to be true. Is he?

As CEO of the exclusive O’Malley resorts, Rory O’Malley frequently travels around the world. His good looks and healthy bank balance have always ensured that he has his pick of beautiful women, but through choice has been celibate for over six months. Whenever Rory is at home in Ireland his family provides more than enough drama to keep him entertained. Rory thinks his life is grand just as it is--until he meets Cassidy. Rory has never met anyone as sweet as Cassidy, both inside and out.

Cassidy is unaware that Rory harbours a secret about her brother’s accident. A secret that could potentially ruin their blossoming love affair. Soon, he is willing to move mountains to love--and protect--her, but should he be protecting her from himself?

Cassidy had vowed never to make the mistake of loving a man again. So, how the hell did she end up in his bed? And how the hell did he end up in her heart? The attraction between them sparkles and sizzles and love winds its grip around them both. But secrets rarely stay hidden and very soon Rory’s secret puts their love in jeopardy. Can Cassidy forgive the worst betrayal she had ever known?

In the end, just because of the laughs and cries that were had, I gotta go with 4 stars.

So from my updates you see that I read this at the urging of someone on FB who said the title and cover photo were chosen in error and the author was unsure how to fix it.

**ADDENDUM TO THE ABOVE STATEMENT: I see the author commented on another review that it actually started out as another book entirely and evolved into this, but she'd already shelled out 500 for the cover photo and kept it. Hopefully one day she'll consider changing it because I really feel like it's misleading and therefore may get skipped over due to someone (understandably) thinking it's just your run-of-the-mill bad boy erotica. It's SO much more than that! :)

Starts off very emotional. I was full on ugly crying at only 7%. It takes place in Ireland and England so I was basically in heaven. And the author is Irish so the dialect is accurate as all get out.

The h is a feisty red head and I liked her a lot. Had some true laugh out loud moments with things like:

“Listen to me, you fool. Cassidy Rose Jessica Byron Evans! You are a shit hot ginger ninja, and Mister Hot-stuff Fuckable-faced O’Malley should be bloody grateful if you decide to let him put his cock in, or anywhere near, your fabulous hooha! You are a fantastic and sexy woman who may have a big arse, but can move it like a bloody blender! You are worthwhile and talented and a damn good fuck to boot.” Cassidy nodded at herself in the mirror."

The toilet cubicle behind her opened slowly and a petite grey-haired old dear walked out gingerly, trying not to look Cassidy in the eye. “Oh,” said Cassidy, making a production out of fixing her dress. “So many lines to learn for this play. This play I am practicing for … yup. Wow strong stuff, artistic. Hhhmmmm.”

I admit at times the dialogue was a bit stiff/unrealistic (at least to me), i.e. “Whoa, Cassidy. You are so beautiful, made just for me. I want you so badly. Do you want me? Say you do.” and then others it was fecking HOT, i.e. “You are so fucking sweet, Cass. So wet and tight. I want to come all over your ass and your tits. I want to fuck you so hard you scream for mercy.” *faints in a wet puddle*

This book was like an ad for organ donation and I do NOT mean that in a negative way. I've always been adamant that everyone should be an organ donor and this book truly drives that point home.

I think where it lost a star and a half-ish for me was towards the end when she inevitably finds out that he

Safety gang:

(Lol I'm lazy and doing this from my phone so I don't feel like hiding each category individually. Sorry!)

So other than the h taking a bit too long to let the shit go, it was an overall enjoyable read. I laughed out loud as well as full on cried and I had more orange highlights (good stuff) than pink (reserved for typos or phrasing I just didn't like).

If you can look past that cover and title I definitely recommend giving it a go.

Rory wanted to help his sister after her transplant, so he went to find the donor's family. Then he met Cass and his reasons for being close to her changed.

Cass meets Rory and damnnnnn was he beautiful. She could hardly believe such a god would want her. But if he wants her...so be it.

Only thing I don't understand with this book, is its title. Unless I missed something, I don't understand what Juice has to do with this story. But that doesn't really matter.

This book is so touching, I had tears running down my face at many points. This story reminds me to love those I do love, hard, everyday and tell them so. You never know when or if you will ever see them again.

If you can, give someone the ultimate gift and sign your donor card. In most states, it is on your driver's license. I have been an organ donor since I was 18. Knowing I could help one person by gifting parts of myself that I will never need again, warms my heart. A part of me would live on.

Get your tissues ready for a Romance unlike no other Michelle McLoughney leads you on an emotional journey of loss life and true love.

When one life ends another begins, especially for two families on the ill fated day of April 23rd , when Harry Evans tragically passes away due to a tragic car accident. He gives a gift like no other a double lung transplant to Aoife O Malley who has Cystic fibrosis. Things change for both families through the years as we are taken to them three years later where Rory O Malley is on a mission to help Aoife to find her donors family. What starts as a journey ends up with Rory coincidentally meeting Cassidy, who is struggling three years on to find her way.

Cass is now an artistic consultant in London hoping for her next consultation when Rory appears bringing a new problem to her horizon. She feels attraction unlike no other to him her new client, Rory has his own secret that he is hiding, and not just the obvious attraction to Cass but the truth of why he really wants to not just help Cass but his sister Aoife.

This book has been so tastefully and well respectfully written i was amazed at how much emotion the prologue brought out in me, Rory was a real trooper through out this book; the true love he had for his sister, the willingness to do anything he could for her made me want to be part of his family and to have him fight my corner as well. Rory is a great business man but most of all a family man. i loved the way the characters all worked well together. I adored Rory Grandmother she made me laugh a lot. This story kept me on the edge of my seat trying to predict what would happen next.

My favourite part of the book was when Rory and Cass are talking about Harry's death, I, myself, was truly taken in by the depth of this authors writing and the way her words made me feel through Cass and Rory conversation.

'' He looked at Cass and wanted to take away her pain, it surprised him how deeply she affected him, he didnt even no her and yet something deep inside of him seemed to listen to her hearts rhythm.

through out the book i very much enjoyed the Irish proverbs which were a joy and a chuckle to read.

"Here's to a long life and a merry one".
"A quick death and an easy one".
"A pretty girl and an honest one".
"A cold pint and another one!"

There is nothing at all about this book that i disliked. the only tiny thing i could not get is why the book is named Juice? strange but the content of this marvellous story truly makes up for the title,

Book one of The O Malley series is masterful and sure to bring in the masses of romance readers, for this touching and loving book i recommend this as Adult read only and for anyone that has gone through what Rory and Cass have experienced. I am sure you will love the way Michelle McLoughney has brought this book to life. If anyone loves Authors such as Christine Feehan or Emma Holly you will be taken in by Rory and Cass story. This Reviewer cannot wait for the next story from the O Malleys series.

April 23rd is a the day that changed the lives for two families, one young life tragically passes away at the age of twenty one, while the other receives a new found gift on her new life, a double lung transplant.

Three years have since passed since the death of Harry Evans, and his family and twin sister Cassidy are trying to move forward with their lives. Sometimes in life it's difficult to move on especially when that person was your other half, your twin, your best friend, Cassidy has been struggling for the past three years to move on with her life.

Fast forward three years later Cassidy has moved to London where she is the owner and operator of The Muse Gallery and Artistic Consultations. She's trying to rebuild her life and move forward with her life without her brother.

Rory O'Malley the eldest brother of Aoife who received the double lung transplant, Rory is a kind, loving, passionate man who loves and would do anything for his family especially his sister Aoife. Aoife struggles with her new life she can't move forward, she has a difficult time accepting that another human being had to die for her to continue to live her life.
Which leads her big brother Rory on a mission to find the donor's name and his family. He wants closure not only for his sister but everyone else involved.

A chance encounter finds Rory meeting Cassidy in a way he didn't expect, his driver avoids hitting a stray cat that Cassidy has befriended. Of course when he meets her all his intentions are thrown to the fire, he's drawn to her with her hot personality and her beauty.
Cassidy finds herself drawn to him also she can't stop thinking about him. When the two finally get together sparks fly and the chemistry between the two is extremely HOT.

As their romance continues to blossom can Rory find it in himself to tell Cassidy the real reason he came to London, before someone else beats him to it. Rory knows once the truth is reveled it will completely shatter Cassidy's heart all over again.

Can Cassidy find love and solace in Rory and finally live her life as it was meant to be or will the revelation break her once again?

"I want your body and soul, not for one day, or a week or a year. I want your life and mine to be one entity. One kiss and one fleeting moment in time."

Juice The O'Malley's is a story of loss, love, betrayal, and finding forgiveness in other's. Sometimes in life a tragedy happens for a reason to bring people who you least expect into our lives.

The author did an excellent job in writing and emotional story, I look forward to reading the next in the series, Rian and Liadh The O'Malley's book two (Rory's younger brother).

"You are my sunrise and sunset and I am your protector from this day forth. All that is good in me, is made better by your belief in my worthiness."

If (like me) you’re a bit of a weepy reader when it comes to soul-crushing book moments, then grab the tissues before you start. Juice is a love story, but it also tackles the difficult, and sometimes controversial topic of organ donation. McLoughney has approached the subject with dignity and respect for both parties involved, and created a very real experience for the reader.

Cass has moved to London, still trying to rebuild her life, and come to terms with the death of her twin brother three years ago. She’s never achieved closure, and in a way, she is suffering from survivors guilt even though she had no involvement in her brother’s death.

Rory O’Malley has travelled from rural Ireland to London, also trying to achieve closure. Not for himself, but for his sister Aoife, who is struggling to accept that another human being had to die in order for her to live.

Rory’s good intentions fly out of the window when he meets Cass by chance, and is instantly enamoured by her fiery personality and renaissance-esque looks. Sparks fly between them, and the results are H-O-T *fans self*, but the longer their entanglement goes on, the harder Rory finds it to tell her the real reason he was in London, because he knows it will break her heart.

Juice is a wonderful tale of love, loss, betrayal, and forgiveness. It proves that something good can come from the most terrible of things, bringing people together through tragedy. Five stars!

Five fantastic stars! And every one of them earned.
Let me see. In the first few chapters, I sobbed. For the rest of the story I alternated between wild hysterical laughter, deep depression and a raging case of lust!

This story follows two broken people, both connected by the thread of one young man's death. One little omission makes for broken hearts when a rabid ex opens the closet and all the skeletons come falling out. I wanted to throttle that ex.

What a fantastic story! I loved it from start to finish. Well done, Ms McLoughney - this is by far one of the best indie books I've read in a long time.

Hot! Hot! HOT! I absolutely love Cassidy's and Rory's relationship throughout this book! I think that Michelle McLoughney has a wonderful story up her sleeve, and I honestly cannot WAIT to see what the rest of this series brings in the future!

April 23. A day that means something different to two families. One loses a beloved son, and brother while the other has the chance to spend a lifetime with their sister. One day, two families, two different meanings that will absolutely shatter your heart in to pieces when you learn what really happens between Cassidy and Rory.

Cassidy is finally happy with her life again. Three years after her brothers passing, she can get through the day without having a panic attack, or without having thoughts of her brother leaving this Earth. She is still getting over the fact that as she ages, her brother will be 21 forever. She can't imagine what her parents feel when they look at her, and know that her brother is no longer there with them to share his life. Being a curator for her art gallery, she meets a lot of wealthy people. What she doesn't know is that Rory, the handsome Irish man who she happens to have a chance meeting with is more than just a client.

Enter Rory. Tall, handsome, tattooed, Irishman who sets out to find Cassidy to get closer to her for the sacrifices her family made three years ago. Rory wants to find the family that sacrificed their family members organs to save his sister. What he doesn't know is that he would fall completely head over heels for Cassidy, and in turn not want to tell her why or how he came into finding her, and getting into contact with her. When he realizes his feelings for her, he has to reconsider what he is doing, and what it will mean for both him, and her.

I absolutely loved this book. The character development is outstanding, the emotions seep through the pages, and the Irish proverbs that are used at the beginning of each chapter are heartfelt, quirky, and relate well to each scenario that the chapter presents. Michelle had me laughing, crying, sobbing hysterically, and wanting more. I really look forward to the rest of the O'Malley series, and cannot wait to see where Cassidy and Rory's relationship heads off to next.

A strong 5 bars, and more if I could! Be sure to one-click Juice today!

Not the book the cover suggests

I'll admit this book surprised me, I wasn't sure what to expect I mean I love a muscled hot male body as much as the next girl but the cover just didn't seem right to me, if he'd been straddling a bike or stood with a hot woman draped over him then yes but arms up in a bubble bath didn't make me want to read the book, so I kept skipping past. Then the reviews started and they were all good so I took another look and decided to give it a go and that was that, I was hooked. It's a very moving book, well written with great characters and a real sense of family, it's funny and sad, always a good combination I think if a book can make me laugh and cry then I'm in.
A tragic accident took the life of Cassidy's twin brother Harry and three years later she's still struggling to get on with her life, best friends Marie and Mark are there for her but there comes a time when a girl needs more than just great friends and family and that's where Rory comes in, they meet one morning and something just clicks for both of them but Cassidy is not looking for a relationship and Rory has sworn off women for awhile on topics of which he holds a secret, but as these two learn you can't fight fate.
While the story is good and kept me reading the real strength of this book was the characters, Marie and Mark are great but it's Rory's family that really make the book, with them we get a real sense of family, I loved them all especially Granny, oh and Alice, can't forget Rian and Darragh, as you can see I really liked Rory's family.
Just waiting for Rian's book now 'Cream' shame it's not out until January next year.

I have to say, I don't understand the title now maybe I missed something and I know occasionally a book will have what seems like a strange title but once you read the book you realise where it came from, that's not the case here and I have to be honest and say that if I hadn't checked the reviews I would not have read this book. For me, and this is my personal opinion but the cover and the title do not represent the book, yes I know Rory has tattoos but why is he sat in a bath with his arms up...doesn't work for me at all.

Cassies story starts on what should be a wonderful day, her 21st birthday. However something horrible, life-altering happens that day. Her twin brother is hit by a drunk driver, and dies. Through his death, Cassie (and her parents) make the very brave decision to donate his organs so that others may live as a result of this tragedy. This tragic event, has shaped Cass's life, or I should stay, has helped to stop her life from really moving forward.

Rory has lived his life from the age of sex knowing he has to protect his sister and be careful. His little sister was born with cystic fibrosis. As his sister gets older, she is in and out of the hospital her entire life, and Rory is there to support her, and try to make her feel better. The only thing that can help is a lung transplant. However, how can this loving, caring, nurturing man wish for someone to die so that his sister can live?

These two are brought together by a tragedy and a miracle. This one event changes the course of their lives (and their families) forever.

When Rory and Cass meet, it is by circumstance, and from the very beginning there are sparks between these two people. Cass must make the decision if she is going to open up herself to someone new and let them in and possible feel love again. Rory must stop trying to protect and control everything, and be honest and open with someone else no matter what.

What will happen with the truth comes out? Will these two people that seem so perfect together be able to see past their tragedies and open themselves up and let someone else in?

This is a story not only about love, but of the O'Malley family. A loud, energetic, fun, loving Irish family that supports each other no matter what. Meet this amazing family, and you will fall in love with them and want more!

There are days in everyone’s lives that just have more significance than others. Those days can be surrounded by happy emotions or they can be heartbreaking. April 23 plays an important day in lives of two families that will bring them together forever without them ever knowing. For Cassidy Evans she loses her twin brother Harry. But for the O’Malley family they get the precious gift of an organ transplant that saves the life of a very sick Aoife O’Malley.

Three years later. Cassidy has moved from her childhood home and started her career as an Artistic Consultant and is hired by Rory O’Malley, CEO of O’Malley Resorts. Little does Cassidy know that Rory already knows so much about her and has an ulterior motive for seeking her assistance. Cassidy can’t help the attraction that she feels to Rory, but she feels in her heart that she is not his type so when a relationship forms between them she keeps her heart back and tries to play it off as a no strings attached benefits arrangement.

Rory has come to London seeking out Cassidy Evans in the hopes that he can get her to talk to his sister Aoife, who is the recipient of her brother Harry’s lungs. The one thing that he never expected was there to be chemistry between them. Now he has decide when is the perfect time for him to tell Cassidy the real reason why he first came to see her and try to keep her with him because he wants to see where their relationship can lead.

“ I need you Cass, all of you. I want your body and soul. Not for a day, or a week, or a year. I want your life and mine to be one entity.”

Love life to the fullest even in death 5 stars

This was a beautifully written story about loss and love and giving life.

Imagine a special day, everyone is over to celebrate and then you get the police knocking on your door telling you that your brother's been in an accident where there was already two fatalities. What do you do? You don't fall apart as much as you want. But you don't freeze either. The hospital scene will forever be etched in my heart. It was heart-wrenchingly poignant. Cass and Harry, Harry and Cass always been like that since birth and now it's just Cass left to pick up her life after the death of her brother.

Rory and Cass stumble onto each other, was it fate or was it something more? Well Rory has a secret that he isn't willing to share, well he thought he would but the beauty and vivacity of Cass distracts him and he forgets his secret and embarks on wooing and falling for Cass. Until one day when he is ready to reveal the truth to her but the wicked witch of the West ruins his day and tells Cass the real truth and breaks her heart.

This is a story of great loss, great strength and mostly about LOVE. Harry and his legacy, that dear boy left himself on earth after death. It was a sure-fire tearjerker as well as an immensely intense story. I loved it, I giggled and cried through it and above all else I left with a freaking ache in my heart. So for all of you who is thinking of getting the book, please, please do get it. The cover may not make sense but the story truly does.

DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS COVER. It's an amazing 4.75 read.

I haven't wrote a book review in quite a while, but something is compelling me to do one on this book.

I have NO idea why I picked this book to read, I have NO clue who the author is, and I have NO clue why the book cover is a hot tattoo'ed guy in a bubble bath.

With all that said, I DO know that this was a really, really, really, really, really, R.E.A.L.L.Y. good book. The emotional rollercoaster that it took me on was exhausting, exciting, and heartfelt.

It had so many different things to care about. His sister, her brother, his family *especially his mom!*, her friends, him, her friends, etc. So many different angles to why they should be together, and why they shouldn't.

The sex parts of this book was amazing. Not cheesy (think 50shades), but very realistic. I was pleasantly surprised at those parts, and enjoyed them!

I also have to mention that while I am in NO way an art buff, and know next to nothing on that particular subject...it was really nice reading about art gallery's, paintings, and the art world.

I will definitely be looking into the author, and the rest of the O'Malley series. You have a fan!

Although I love tattooed men, I promise it was the book’s synopsis, rather than the cover which interested me! However, I felt that Juice failed to live up to its promise on several levels, including grammatical errors, plot inconsistencies, erratic changes in tense and an emerging romance which was sweet, but predictable.
I continued with the book, mainly because of the O’Malley’s, who are an untypical Irish family who consist of a full range of characters. In particular I liked the bold females, Annie and Marie because of the humour they inject into the story, and of course Aoife, whose struggle is the reason Rory and Cass meet.
Although the business arrangement between Rory and Cass is based on false pretences, it is a ‘lust-becomes-love-within-two-days’ kind of relationship, which failed to engage me emotionally, despite their back-stories.
I think there is a huge fanbase for Juice, but it is not a series I will be continuing with.

Okay

Even though it was a predictable storyline it was still good. Lots of potential, but got annoying at the end. It seemed as though the author was trying to increase the word count because it went back and forth with forgiveness and undying love to no I'm not sure (grrr) I also noticed the author thanked a proof reader, really because your proof reader didn't notice that the ex-girlfriend's name was Abigail & twice she was referred to as April. Then another error when something was being cut and the (life) was dropped instead of (knife).

This book touched me on many levels. Coming from a loud Irish family to the traumautic family events. This is not an easy love story it is about true sacrafice and love. To watch how this all plays out is truly a book that you can't put down. The sadness, joy, love, and redemption all touches you and puts you on an emotional ride. It is a ride I would take again and again. Please meet Cass & Rory, you do not want to miss out on this great romance novel!

This was the first book that I have read by this author, but it certainly won't be the last. Cassidy and Rory had their own individual lives that was struck with tragedy. Three years later both characters come face to face with one another and are faced with love at first sight. All isn't as straight forward and Cassidy is torn between following her head or her heart. It was really a touching story.

Oh my the o'malley's and the Evans families what a group of amazing people who are brought together through tragedy and love.

Rory and Cass are so perfect for each other, but you should never keep secrets from the ones you love.

Cass is such a strong, extraordinary woman I really loved her, even when she is knocked down by life time and time again she never gives up and I love that she truly believes love will conquer all, she just needs a little reminder.

Rory that gorgeous hunk of Irishness is truly a wonderful man he just goes about things the wrong way but he owns his mistakes and will do whatever has had to, to make it up to everyone.

I love all the O'Malley family, Marie and Mark and the Evans family in one book I'm already drawn to them all and I look forward to lots more stories especially with Granny O'Malley.

Well I bought this book earlier this year and met Michelle at the Liverpool pop up signing. As its bank holiday weekend I decided to pick one of my books to read. This was yesterday at 4 pm. I loved the story from the start , it had me hooked. The love story that developed between Cass and Rory was up and down along with the heart ache they had both endured before meeting each other. The book was full of humour but also had a few parts that make you cry. I have not read any of this authors books before but eagerly look forward to the next books in the series. I couldnt put the book down even to cook so ordered indian food in lol. Needless to say the book was finished last night so may even get another book read before work again on Tuesday.

Juice (The O'Malleys #1) by Michelle McLoughney

I had never heard of the book or the author before I was given this book, so I was going in blind, which I don't usually do. I like to know what I'm getting in it, read reviews etc before I start a book, so I was very apprehensive going in blind.
The book was very much of a roller coaster of emotions kind of book. At the start it's very sad,and I actually wondered if I could carry on reading this when I'm this upset already?! But I stuck with it and then gradually I was laughing, happy tears, and sad tears...loads of different emotions.....so be prepared.
The story starts on Cassidy's 21st birthday. However when she should be celebrating this amazing day with her family and friends and twin brother, turns in to a nightmare when her twin is hit by a drunk driver and dies. After her brother dies, her family make the decision to donate his organs to un known people. Which is a very extremely kind act, but also a extremely hard decision after such a horrible accident.
3 years pass and Cassidy and her family are still struggling with their grief and to move forward with their lives. You can understand Cassidy having such a difficult time with this. Harry was not just her brother, but her twin. Him dying would litually be liked she died aswel. It was heart breaking seeing her and reading how much she was struggling and knowing that in real life this happens to and there's nothing you could ever do to fully move one, except just try to live your live day to day the best you can and try and be happy. Cassidy is now in a London and trying to be happy.
Rory O'Malley the eldest brother of Aoife received Harrys lungs when Cassidys family donated his organs. Aoife is really struggling to accept that she has somebody else's body parts in her keeping her alive. She's also struggling with the fact that person had to die so she could live.
Rory is so sweet and caring that he decides he wants to help his sister out and wants to find the closure for her by finding the donors name.
Rory and Cassidy are bought together by circumstance. Right from the very start there's a spark between them. Rory knows who Cassidy is though, what will happen when she finds out the truth?

This story was very heart warming. You are bought right in to the story and can imagine you going through all this with them together. It's such a heart breaking situation, but one thousands of people in the world can relate to. It was a very different story, to your usual love story and I love that Michelle thought out side the box but also wrote a book that was close to home and that so many people can relate to personal or if not personal, know about on some level.
Michelle wrote the story very tastefully, and accuratly. She'd defiantly researched a lot before writing the story to ensure all facts were correct.
All the characters were very well developed. They each had their own unique qualitities that makes you love them. I was really hoping that after all the pain and suffering Rory and Cassidy would move on with their lives and be happy, and the same goes for Aoife.
The story glowed and I couldn't put it down. It was outstanding. I love watching broken/damaged people who are nearly beyond repair, find someone and you watch them heal each other. It's always so beautiful.

The only thing I can't understand is the name "Juice" I don't understand why it has to do with the book and I wouldn't even read the blurb with the name juice as it sounds like college, sex, beach book. The book needs a more appropriate title and I think a lot more people would buy this book, because it's a amazing story that deserves to be shared with the world.

4 stars! Review copy provided by Xpresso Book Tours. I really enjoyed this book, it was a pleasant surprise. When I saw the cover and title I wasn't sure but it is well worth the read. I honestly don't know how the cover and title even pertain to the book. I'm not a fan of faces on covers because I end up picturing the H or h to look like that and other than the tattoos I didn't see Rory like the guy on the cover at all, IMO of course. This is the kind of book that's hard to review without giving away important details so without spoiling I'll do the best I can summing it up.

After a tragic accident on her 21st birthday Cass (h) has lost the one person who she has shared everything with. Three years later still devastated and struggling she tries to focus on her career as an artist/artistic consultant. When she lands the job or commission of a lifetime she doesn't expect to also land the client too.

Rory (H) CEO of O'Malley's resorts has a secret a big one but when he meets Cassidy he decides to keep that secret a little longer. No woman has ever made Rory feel the way he is feeling in her presence and he loves her pure beauty inside and out.

Cass is having fun, she won't let love interfere; she won't love because love breaks your heart and her heart is already broken. But with their sizzling chemistry love hits both of them hard and fast and there is no denying the connection they have.

Rory need to come clean with his secret before it's too late. But will Cass ever forgive his betrayal?

Cass and Rory were great H and h's. I loved Cassidy's attitude a personality, and Rory's passion and bond with his family. Cass's best friend Marie was such an awesome person too and secondary character. There were times I wanted to hug her, she knew how to set Cass straight when she needed it but cheer her on as well.

The author had me in tears towards the end of the book with the letter from Harry that was really heart wrenching to me. Well done. I also loved how both H and h came from good families and were close to them. I read so many books where that isn't the case so it was a nice change. Rory's family was a riot and I truly enjoyed getting a glimpse of them in this book. I am excited to read more about the O'Malley's!

Why I couldn't give it the full 5 stars...The chapters that were labeled either Cass or Rory confused me a bit because it was told in the 3rd person. I am normally partial to 1st person POV but don't mind a narrative 3rd person, the reason it confused me was a chapter with Cass's name and it was Rory's narration. I guess I'm just used to chapters labeling the H and h if it's told from their POV. There was a scene I found particularly funny when Marie and Cass are talking about romance novels and hating certain words or things that pertain to sexual encounters or names off things sexually that grossed them out...well one of mine is pubes or hair in the nether regions mentioned in a book, I don't know why but it bugs me so there is a particular time when this is mentioned. This of course is something silly that just doesn't sit well with me. ;) And lastly as I mentioned before the title and cover...didn't really get it.

All in all a great book, lots of passion, emotion, humor and angst.>>> Jonathan and April UGH! I felt maybe they got off a little too easy.

I would recommend.

There is nothing at all about this book that i disliked. the only tiny thing i could not get is why the book is named Juice? strange but the content of this marvelous story truly makes up for the title,

*** I received this Arc for an honest and fair review***

Heartbreakingly and beautifully written, Rory is an absolutely awesome read. This book had me vested from the first chapter to the very last words. The love story of Rory is one that is borne from the tragic loss of life and the beginning of a new life. Or is it? McLoughney tastefully and aptly describes the deep heartfelt emotions people experience when faced with the decision to end life and the fallout of organ donation. Organ donation is not something that anyone thinks about ever. However, the story of Rory, is a stark reminder that organ donation is a topic that needs and deserves serious consideration. Yes, be prepared with this book to have tissues at the ready cause I guarantee you will need them.

Rory is a sexy, strong man with a heart of gold who is desperate to find a lifeline for his sister Aoife. Cassidy, a voluptuous and funny beauty, is learning that even though time passes, her heart misses Harry everyday. When Rory and Cassidy meet the attraction between them is absolutely palpable that it seemingly jumps off the pages. Both not ever wanting to lose their hearts, through a series of events (which you most definitely have to read) a new love brews in their hearts. You will find yourself roaring with laughter, brimming with anger, and most definitely intrigued with every character that these two come in contact with during their courtship.Their love story though is not built on truth but on misguided omission. Could their love survive when it all comes crashing down due to a vindictive bitch of an ex? Yeah, you'll have to find out for yourself.

This is my first book from Ms. McLoughney and I absolutely can not wait to read more. Her authenticity and contemporary writing style is a breath of fresh air. If a Harlequin romance book and a Contemporary Romance book had a baby, this would be McLoughney's awesome writing style. So, I suggest you add this to your reading list...because Rory is a must READ!

This is quite an emotional journey, twisting sad and happy and royally pissed off, all into one fabulously written tale.
This book was a bit difficult for me to read, as im an American and some of the words, well i really just had no idea what the author was saying. Not in a bad way though. Honestly, its so very well written but the author wrote it in what i will call Irish, and i didnt recognize some words so it made it a bit difficult but i own a dictionary and i got through it and i learned new words and i have yet to stop calling my husband an eejit hahaha
I expected that to take away from the book for me but honestly it didnt. i really found that i didnt mind looking things up, because truth be told im a sponge for new words and slangs and everything UK so it works for me. The story itself, is fabulous. I can honestly say its a new story for me whereas i havent read anything like it so it wasnt your typical bad boy meets virgin and changes his ways ....
Cassidy loses her brother, her twin, basically her other half, but she must live and move on and she does .... she meets Rory, who is absolutely connected to her in a way she never imagined (i wont say how because its a huge spoiler if i do)
There are the usual secrets and some angst that you would get in any love story but the emotion behind it and the story that isnt out there 1000 times, is beyond fabulous and is written so well that you will lose yourself to this story and not come up for air until you have realized, OMG the last page ....
its written well, the characters are strong and admirable characters, with side characters that are amazing and a welcome addition. And a few I really like to see tell their story as well.
The grammar is good and the spelling is perfect. i really couldnt find anything i didnt like about this book.
I would absolutely recommend it and i wish the author much success and hope to see more from her.
