*** Frank: She's older. He's younger. But his love runs true. (The Children of the Sun God Book 7) *** by Tiffany Ann
This book was absolutely captivating. It beautifully illustrates that true love is worth every moment of waiting. The lengths that a man will go to for his destined mate are truly inspiring. Georgia, filled with fear, tries to escape, yet the call of fate compels her back. I was utterly absorbed by this story, which evoked strong emotions and kept me on the edge of my seat, eager to discover what happens next. It’s a slow-burn love story that unfolds with heart. Frank and Georgia's journey is one you won't want to overlook.
Thanks to the author for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion. I love this series about minotaur shifters and their mates. Recent books have focussed on those mates released from capture, and this book deals with one of those most damaged mentally by her experiences. Frank is one of the youngest men/beasts, but he is just as strong in his love for Georgia. Tiffany Ann continues to delight with her prosaic language and imagery, and this story is one of the most heartfelt and emotional, giving me goosebumps at times. Read in series order for the best understanding of these unusual stories.
Frank and Georgia's story is a powerful exploration of love's worth waiting for. This book mesmerized me with its portrayal of a man's unyielding commitment to his partner. Filled with fear, Georgia tries to escape, but fate's call compels her back, fueling a slow-burn romance that expertly balances heart and tension. I was completely absorbed in the narrative, which stirred strong emotions and kept me invested. The trauma and healing was well written by Tiffany Ann and the high emotional stakes made for an amazing read. This story showcases love's potential for unconditional love ❤️
I love a good trauma and healing trope, and this one was just perfect. What an emotional roller coaster ride. No need for spice when the emotions and stakes for survival are so high. The slow burn romance in this as Georgia finally works through her fear and discovers her feelings for Frank was written so well. Not relevant to the storyline, but Frank having the long curly hair just made him an extra hot book boyfriend. Can't wait to read her next series.
I’ve loved this couple since the moment they met. Frank is so patient. Georgia needs extra love and he gives her that. I’m sad because this is the final book in the series. The children of the sun god is one of my favorite series. I love how characters from Tiffany’s series still show up in her other books. We’ll see them all again I’m sure. Frank and Georgia were worth the wait.
A heartbreaking ending to the Children of the Sun God. Tiffany's books are always a drop everything and pick it up. Picking up where both Peter and Horn and Compass left off, Frank and Georgia have a harrowing journey of fear and acceptance. I cannot wait to see what Tiffany comes out with next.
Such pain in this one but I loved watching Georgia take her life back and finally live as she was meant to. Frank was so patient and understanding, you couldn't help but love him too
