I loved this story of mystery, suspense, there is nothing like being a shy to get your motor running and your heart pumping. You never know who to trust or even if you are trusting the right people. Everyone wants a piece of the action but no one wants to get caught. Oh well if a few die that is ok to as long as the ones get what they want.

This is a fast pace, action filled packed, grab on to your seat for the ride read. Hang on, this is sure going to be a bumpy ride. This will be a read you will have trouble putting down and will keep you on your toes of who is who.

Agent Madrid is on a mission he must get a package without getting caught. Julia is an office lady who is his contact. She keeps her boss updated on how he is doing and if he needs help she sends it. She also falls for the smooth typing agent and worries about his safety. To say she has a crush on the man she has never seen is putting it mildly.

The day comes when Madrid doesn’t report in, plans must be put into action for his safe return. Madrid asks that if anything happens to him that Julia be the one sent to find him. Julia has training but she doesn’t have a clue why she is sent, with almost nothing to help her out and with no training as a field agent background behind her. But she will do what she can to keep the man she has come to adore from afar safe. She does have a contact which is puzzled also why nothing was sent with her but will do her best to help her.

Once she touches down she is on the hunt for her man. Julia finds as an agent she isn’t too bad. She picks up clues and is on his trail in no time. Can she find Madrid before it is too late and when she does what will he be like? Is it possible he could have feeling for her as well?

I did find a few things in this book to be a little out there, I do not see how Julia could have found his cell phone like she did. It does add to the story but is a little over the top. I did find this to be a very good read, well written, thrilling, mystery with some wonderful love scenes. I loved the humor I found myself chuckling as I read. Below is when Julia is out looking for Madrid and tells her driver to wait:

“Keep the motor running but give me at least twenty minutes. Call if you see anything suspicious.” “Who are you?” she beamed a bright smile. “I’m Chelsea Gordon. Just looking for a good time” “There are better ways,” he mumbled

I have never read anything by this author but I will be looking for more of her work. I enjoyed her writing style where she puts so much action in such a short time. The author never leaves you behind and keeps the book moving at a very fast page. You find you can’t get to the end fast enough and keep turning the pages to see what is going to happen next.

This was an outstanding read by an outstanding author. This is one review that can’t wait for her next book.

To be released soon, keep your eyes out for Saving Madrid it is a book you do not want to miss.
