Sometimes great evil is necessary to keep what you love most.

After centuries on the run, Rhane can avoid justice no longer. Primes have called him home and now he must finally answer for the sins of his past. But the situation in Rhane’s homeland is far worse than anyone could have imagined, and the judgment Rhane faces is a brutal one. Even relying on the strength of the immortal Banewolf, the man he has become may not survive.

Kali and the other kin work tirelessly to secure Rhane’s freedom, but many obstacles stand in their way. Wesley offers a solution that hinges upon resuming a dangerous search for the Siren’s Heart. Trusting him, she and the kin set out once again to find the elusive artifact, believing Rhane and Warren’s freedom can be bartered in exchange for the statue. But other creatures are searching for the Heart. And with greater resources and a head start, their enemies may reach it first.

Born and raised in a small sunny town in South Carolina, Eden finds thunderstorms to be inspiring. There are few things she loves more (except maybe cake) than curling up with a good book on a rainy day, often reading into the wee hours of morning when something really grabs her. Rather than being backed into a genre corner, Eden loves to blend elements of romance, fantasy, sci-fi, comedy, action, mystery and adventure into her novels. DARK SIREN is the exciting and bestselling start of a four-part saga where two characters risk it all to save their love. Be sure to check out LOVE, ALCHEMY, a unique and exciting New Adult Romance.

Where can I begin? Action, hot sex, tender lovemaking, unexpected reveals and twists and turns around ever corner. This novel has it all. In this 3rd story in the Dark Siren trilogy we find Kali and Rhane still separated and being put through the ringer as both of the lovers are used as pawns by rival factions all determined to get what they want. I love the development Kali has gone through. From scared girl to mature woman ready to fight to protect her family. One more than one occasion Kali showed not only her mental strength, but she also showed she was a bad ass who should not be messed with. With the 4th novel coming out next year I'm eager to know more about the new terror that is threatening to rise and destroy the world. I also want to know how all the tangled webs weaved at Golden Mountain will play out. But most of all I'm dying to know exactly what side the mysterious Bailen is really on. You have to read this novel and this series. Eden Ashley has created a refreshing unique mythology and a cadre of characters that are all interesting in one way or another.

WHOO! Now I really feel like I’m getting to understand what’s going on in Kali and Rhys’ past and how everyone else fits into things. I think the characters really grew into themselves a lot more in this book above the rest. I was the most excited to know a little more about Bailen and how he fits into things.

Of course, being impatient, there are still a lot of things I’m hoping for answers on, but I am thrilled with some of the big reveals in this one. I thought things were going to end at the warehouse and I was a bit disappointed thinking it was a fast wrap-up. There was, of course, a lot that happened afterward and now I am extremely curious to see how things are going to resolve themselves without destroying the world.

Warning: Contains violence

Who should read it? Fans of the series – start at the beginning! If you like the first one, just commit to the next two.

Sometime, reading as many books as I do, you stumble across a new author or a new series which captures your attention. The Dark Siren series in one of these, and 3 books into it, my interest hasn’t waned.

In this book there is, quite frankly, so much going on, that I must confess to feeling a little confused at times.

However, it is a testament to the author that I remained invested in the story.

The strength of the lead characters is tested. They are both strong apart, but as we find out here, they are stronger together. And, I’m not going to lie, there was one point in this one where I was a little shocked by the turn of events, but it fitted seamlessly within the overall narrative.

The reader is given some answers in this book. But there remain bigger questions to be dealt with. I got a real sense of a story rushing to a conclusion. Only, now I have to wait. Eagerly, and not at all patiently.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review

Another great book! ***spoiler alert***

Some questions were clarified in this segment of the series. I'm so glad to see river gone. At least for now. Who knows I guess he could come back. But I'm no fan of his.

Eden did an awesome job with providing backstory clues through the entire series so far without making it boring. Backstory was very nicely intertwined with present time. And then BAM it all comes together at the end of this book. Loved it!

Also, many wonderful moments between the characters. The moment between War and Rhane in the secret room when they touched foreheads!!!! And when Matthias broke the tub is cube and was so upset about and here comes Rion to the rescue. And OMG Bailen!!!!!

Can't to see what comes next in the story. Another great job Eden!

When I opened this book, I seriously felt like I had missed something. As in, a whole book in between that one and the one I had just finished. There's a BIG jump there. While it's useful to do that in order to get the characters old enough to be independent and of legal age to consummate their physical relationship, it's really distracting, as a reader, to have so much time pass and have NOTHING happen. Just as I felt I was maybe understanding what was going on in the series, the rug gets pulled out from the reader and I'm looking around going "What the heck happened?!" The mythology finally starts taking shape in this book, which is good because up to this point it hasn't been explained well at all. There were several plot points that I enjoyed reading, and they radically shifted the dynamic between the characters. Once I got past the big jump at the beginning and things got back to where they should be, I began to enjoy what was being presented to me.

This is the third installment of the Dark Siren series by Eden Ashley. Rhane has decided to go home and let the Primes doll out their punishment. He tells Kali he will be back and doesn't come back when he's supposed to. Kali becomes very melancholy during rhane's absence. When rhane gets back home he see that the situation is much worse than he feared and is unsure if there is anyone he can trust. As a last resort Kali goes to Wesley for help in getting Rhane back from the primes. Kali and the other kin set off on a dangerous journey to secure the siren's heart in hopes of securing rhane and war's release.

I love this series, with each book I fall more in love with the charcters and the story. I still love orrin, he is very dedicated to those he loves and his and kali's relationship is that of brother and sisiter or best friends and gets really strong in this book.

Again do not read this book unless you have read the first two in the series as you would be very confused.
