When the dust settles, hope can be found.

The Shift is closed between Earth and Arcadia. The residents of Lost Town acclimate to their new reality. They are forever stuck on another planet, with only one another to rely on.

Amelia, anxious to see more of their home, travels with Milton’s old map-filled journal, discovering an ancient civilization.
John is eager to start a new life, until tragedy strikes at the heart of Lost Town.

Restarting from scratch isn’t ideal, but the locals will do anything to succeed.

Found is the final installment in the epic Lost Town series, by the best-selling author of Lost Contact, The Other Place, and First Life.

Oh, Mr. Hystad! Just when I decided to give up on this series, you bring out Book 6 and dangle a carrot by including The Realm. Now I'm all in again! Found is aptly named because everyone in this book is finding all kinds of things, all of which are pretty cool and interesting. Except Grover. Less Grover please. The man is a narcissistic braggart with no sense of accountability. Really enjoyable book. This is quite the world where anything goes. Very entertaining. Hope to see more of The Realm story. Less of Wayward because those "women are less than" attitudes really annoy me. Thank you for not killing off Chester.

Minus one star because of the Logan & Amelia "sis" and "bro" dialogue. Just feel cheesy and forced. Do people really talk like that? Also because of the scene where Caesar and crew think a sheet of plywood nailed to block a hole in the wall in the basement will keep out the Imps. Seriously? The things carve through rock and dirt. Plywood isn't very sturdy. That was pretty comical. Really lazy to kill of the alien with the "W" name and call his story over. I suspect there is more to that one.

Author, Nathan Hystad, certainly knows how to set a scene. “Found” is Book 6 of ‘The Lost Town’ series. We follow the inhabitants of Arcadia and their interactions between other towns and their people. Trading has begun and routes are being set up and mapped. What could possibly go wrong? or right?

In this book we meet the mysterious people of The Realm, as well as the new villainous monsters that live underground that will give the howlers something to think about as well as the inhabitants of Lost Town. You’re in for a wild ride and read and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. A slow start took me flying through the book, feeling as though I was right there on Arcadia with all the characters.

This book just continues to add to this series.  You thought things were bad enough with the Howlers and always having to be on the lookout, especially when travelling between towns since Lost Town had the Repulsor.  But now, they have to worry about missing scouts, Protectors, The Realm, and unfortunately Imps, who are really nasty little guys.  And then the Biters come into the mix.  This is a lot for the people of Lost Town to have to deal with.  And the excitement just keeps on coming.  Nathan Hystad, you have created a wonderful series and I'd like to thank you for that.

❤️🫨A fantastic sequel and ending!

Amelia still couldn't believe she'd gotten married.

Who would have thought?

From sheriff, she'd become mayor.

What incredible adventures in just a year and a half...

*****

A new and final volume of the incredible misadventures of our dear, unwitting explorers of extraterrestrial worlds!

Lots of unexpected events, danger, and plot twists in this sixth volume.

I really liked the ending; it was surprising, but ultimately not as surprising as I expected.

However, I'm sorry the series is over.

A must-read.

Highly recommended!

The "Lost Town" series continues with new adversaries and allies in "Found." Extremely well designed with impeccable timing of events. Each book in this magnificent series is a story by itself with the same basic characters but finding new challenges, antagonists and allies.  That said "Found" is page-turning. I think "Found" is the crown jewel of what each book has contributed to. Really an amazing read!

Arcadia

Lost Town is up and running and improving. Howlers are at bay. The different communities are opening trade amongst each other. Everything seems to be going great until Lost Town decides to repair their sewers. Scouts have discovered a pyramid. Are the two linked? Who’s on Arcadia now?

Finally come to the last book in the series and it was just as wild and fun as the rest. Drama, trouble, surprises and amazing characters to enjoy as always. I laughed and groaned and loved it all. Had to see how the journey would end and it was a blast.

Howlers!

Absolutely brilliant as always from this author.
Will be going onto some space stuff next from Nathan. It’s always sad when I finish a series though. Just get to know the characters.

An exciting and fast paced conclusion to the series. This is really the best book since the first one, full of action and surprises. Mr. Hystad delivered a very satisfying conclusion.

Great Conclusion

Lost Town has been quite the ride and this was a fitting conclusion. I hope there are more stories to come, perhaps following Summer’s scouting adventures.
