In questo volume seguiamo la storia di Eugene, fratello maggiore di Keichi. La sua storia si sviluppa intrecciandosi ad alcuni momenti che abbiamo già letti dal punto di vista di Shingo, il gatto nero. E' bello vedere come quest'uomo tutto d'un pezzo e legato testardamente alla responsabilità di proseguire il lignaggio della stirpe purosangue, si arrenda all'amore che prova nei confronti dell'uomo che gli è sempre stato accanto, il fedele Takamizawa.

4.5 near 5. I cant give 5 stars bcs Jin (Kakami's older brother) had to marry and have a son to continue the lineage. Let me explain better. Jin and Ei meet when they are 10. Jin is in his grandfather's castle and Ei is there bcs his father works for Jin's family. They become friends, and with the time (off-screen but explained), they fall in love. The sad thing is that Jin must continue his lineage (leopard is rare), and so he must get married and have a son (i love his son Rio but am sad the same for Ei). The night before the wedding, with a woman he doesnt even know, he asks(orders) Ei, that is his secretary(servant) now, to have sex with him. The day after, he gets married, and also if he loves Ei, he must be with his wife. Ei and Jin are always together for the next 13 years, and we see Jin having Rio, and in the end divorcing his wife. Jin still loves Ei and the feeling is mutual. Jin cant be like his younger brother, who lives with an house cat and doesnt have any intention of having kids (Shingo/Kakami). Jin cant understand why, till one day he does. While talking with Ei, the other man tells him his parents ask him too, to marry and have a kid. Jin is shocked and cant think about someone else having Ei, but he cant say anything. In the end luckly Ei, doesnt want to get married or have children (he only wishes that Jin could get pregnant) and Jin understands, that also if he is happy about having had Rio, what he did was wrong and he made Ei suffer for all this time. They have sex , and after 13 years, Jin understands what he should have done.
I wanna read what happens next, this is a good story, am sad that Jin had to be with that woman, the day after he had made love to the only person he really loved. For this 4.5 and not 5.

Great Manga, i liked both the characters and the storyline much better than Shingo and Kagami's book. The angle in which Yujin always mentions he has responsibilities which he must be held to, was kinda the only problem in this book. The book has a lot of hot and heavy action which makes it very perceptive for a more mature audience. I also liked the fact that Takamizawa and Yujin knew each other since childhood and were already in love then, it brought a certain sweetness to the book.
Good drafted story and nice characters, it's good to get to know characters from the sidelines of the main story!!

Me gustó este tomo, los personajes y la historia que compartian. Me gustó acercarme más a estos personajes y por tanto, a parte del pasado de Keii pero no puedo decir que me volviera loca este tomo o este romance o los protagonistas.

Wie immer bei Kuroneko war ich anfangs erst einmal irritiert, wo im Zeitstrahl der Reihe wir uns gerade befinden. Ich habe die Mangas ja nach und nach gekauft (und nicht gleich gelesen) und es gibt einfach keine Nummerierung. Gut war, dass ich mich noch an die Handlung des letzten Bandes, den ich davon gelesen habe, erinnern konnte und das ganze zeitgleich dazu ablief.
Komme ich erst einmal zu meiner Kritik. Ich mag die abrupten Szenenwechsel und oft kurzen Szenen nicht und habe oft das Gefühl, dass ich etwas verpasst habe. Dieses Gefühl ist teilweise so stark, dass ich zurückblättere, um den Zusammenhang zu verstehen. Das stört mich schon sehr, aber anhand meiner Bewertung wird wohl deutlich, dass alles andere dies tatsächlich aufwiegt.
Zum einen muss ich einfach gestehen, dass niemand erotische, explizite Boyslove-Szenen so gut zeichnen kann, wie Aya Sakyo. Wer also so etwas mag, muss die Kuroneko Reihe einfach lesen. Hier wird nichts hässlich zensiert, es gibt unglaublich gute Posen, die Gesichtsausdrücke sind richtig toll und allgemein ist diese Zeichenstil der Hammer.
Zum anderen hat mich in diesem Band vor allem einer der Charaktere so dermaßen gefesselt – Takamizawa. Er ist die rechte Hand von Yujin, den man bereits aus anderen Teilen der Reihe kennt, weil er Keiichis Bruder ist. Takamizawa ist dieser ruhige, dominante Bodyguard-Typ und ich fand die dominante Art, wie er mit Yujin umgeht wirklich sexy. Aya Sakyo schafft es durch Gesichtsausdrücke so viel zu vermitteln, dass es kaum Text bedarf, um diesen Charakter interessant zu finden.
Ansonsten fand ich die Szenen mit dem kleinen Rio (Yujins Sohn) wieder super niedlich und sie lockerten den sonst doch sehr erotiklastigen Manga etwas auf.
Für mich ist dieser Band der bisher beste aus der Kuroneko-Reihe.

This is the first volume in that godforsaken Kuroneko-series that I didn´t hate. The art is okay, the story was not horrible (not exciting either) and the one kid that shows up from time to time looks cute.

Uhm, not a fan of Kagami's brother, he isn't likeable at all. Only in the bedroom we are shown his "vulnerable" side, but still, he is annoying and I hate how he treats Shingo, who is a cutie pie. I am also not invested in his love story with the butler-childhood friend-secretary (?), although I have to admit that the sex scenes are -amazingly- hot (as always) and I absolutely love the nipple play **nosebleed**. This mangaka is so good!

And I love that little Rio likes Shingo so much. The little boy is so cute <3
